It's another day in Corinth (one of the last few??? SOD reports that Loving is
moving to the SoHo district of New York in November along with other changes.)

In Jacob's hospital room, a nurse is checking up on him. He's asleep. She leaves
and Angie comes in. She is not happy. She remembers him telling her that he is
truly and completly in love with her. And then she remembers Jeremy telling her
that Jacob came to Corinth because of her. Jacob is still asleep. She leaves.

In the Biastro, Steffi comes to see Ally. Steffi asks how she is holding up.
Don't ask, Ally says, getting up, everyone asks that. Steffi offers a hug. Is
there anything Steffi can get her? There is only one thing Ally wants, and no
one can give her that. They sit. Ally asks where Rambo is. Steffi says that he
found a parking spot. So? Ally asks. Well, he's from Brooklyn so when he finds a
parking spot, he acts like he won the lottery. Steffi says she has some
important news. Tony comes in and says he found a great parking spot, right in
front. Steffi and Ally laugh. Deborah runs in and tells Steffi that she should
treat this man nicer, he's trying to protect her. Steffi tells them that she and
Ally just want a conversation. Ally? Tony says, as in Ally Bowman? Yeah, Ally
sighs. Tony expresses his sympathy, and says if there is anything he can
do...Ally says yes, take Steffi away from here.

In Jacob's room, Jacob is sleeping, and he says Angie...then he remembers
Frankie suggesting he leave his mother alone before she hurts herself bad.
Charles comes into the room and says they have some unfinished business.

This gonna be one of those man-to-man things? Jacob asks. Charles says he
thought Jacob would be interested to know that Carolyn and the guy have been
transferred to a Federal prison. He'll be leaving to give his deposition, and
they'll probably want to talk to him, too. Jacob says well, they know how Jacob
likes to talk. Charles says he should be happy, they both set out to accomplish
what they wanted, so now Jacob can move on. There's no reason to stay. Jacob can
think of one major reason to stay.

Angie pops into Stacey's house, who just got back from Florida. The kids have
too many sea shells, Stacey says. Stacey has a big pot of tea, she goes to get
it. When she comes back, Angie says that she's gonna get married. Stacey is
surprised, last she knew, it was on hold. She wants to know if Stacey will still
be her matron of honor. Stacey says yes, but she wants to know about Jacob.
Angie says that she thinks the feelings were confused since he looks so much
like Jessie. But, she knows he's not, and she's looking forward to marrying
Charles. Charles must be thrilled, Stacey says. Well, he will be, Angie says.
Angie spills her tea. What? Stacey says, you haven't told him yet?

Why does she want her to leave? Steffi asks. Ally wants her to go to Paris. Ally
tells them that Danny Roberts came by. She knows why normal people turn violent,
she wanted to kill him. Tony asks if they want him to go see this Danny. No,
Ally says, Alex talked to him and she thinks that he scared him. But, this
proves that she will survive, so Steffi doesn't have to stay for her. Deborah
chips in and says she's fine, too. Steffi says is that her opinion or the
doctor's? Ally and Deborah try to get Steffi to go to Paris. Tony says no, if
she goes, she's a dead lady.

Is that a threat? No, the stalker will follow her to paris. No, he won't, Steffi
says. What, Tony says, is he a domestic stalker? He goes into a tirade about
"domestic" (as opposed to international, instead of how some people use it to
mean...). Deborah interrupts and asks Anthony (Tony likes that, his mother calls
him that). She offers him quiche. Steffi says real men don't like quiche. Tony
accepts it. If they're going to Paris, he needs to get used to this stuff. Who
says *you're* going to Paris? Steffi says. Tess comes in and says who's going to
Paris? Tell him he's not, Steffi says to Tess. Tony asks who is this Cooper guy,
anyhow? Tony remarks that is Cooper was such a great guy, he shouldn't be in
paris while she's here. Steffi lays it on him to lay off Cooper. Tony finally
gets up and tells her to go to Paris, he doesn't care anymore. Ally tells Steffi
that Tess was right, Steffi is hard on him.

Charles tells him it's time to move on. Jacob says he's okay, for a cop. Jacob
asks if he's ever heard the song Layla. Eric Clapton wrote it for Patty
Harrison, wife of George. they were friends at the time. Guess who Patty is
married to now? Charles says, what's the point? Well, Jacob says "I love your
Patty, George!"

Stacey says that she wants Angie to be happy, she really does. She knows Angie
has feeling for Jacob. Well, not anymore, Angie says. She tells Stacey that
Jacob went to Pine Valley to get information so that he could get to Charles
through her. Angie says she is going to marry Charles. Why? Stacey asks, 'cause
you love him, or 'cause Jacob hurt her?

Steffi says he's driving her crazy. Behind her, Tony tells Tess that that girl
is driving him nuts. Tess suggests he back off a little. She's going through a
tough time. Tony says he's trying, but he always says the wrong thing, and then
when he wants to say the wrong thing, like when he's PO'd, he REALLY says the
wrong thing. Tess laughs and says that he's one in a million. Meanwhile, Steffi
says that when Cooper calls, they don't talk anymore...it's like they don't have
anything in common anymore. Ally asks why she hasn't told him about the stalker.
He'd be on the first Concorde back. And...Ally asks. Well, she's scared. What if
Tony is right about Cooper. She shows Ally the newspaper clipping the stalker
left. Ally asks if she talked to him about it. No, Steffi says, she's afraid of
what he might say. Ally tells her to call. She finally agrees. Ally leaves to
call the sitter. Tony is watching Steffi. She picks up piece of paper reads it
(you can't get away from me, I'll follow you whereever you go), turns to see
Tony, then crumples the paper and puts the phone down.

Angie tells Stacey that she wants things to go back to the way they were before
Jacob came to town. Is that so wrong? No, Stacee says, but she has to realize
that may never happen.

Charles gets up to leave. He's said what he wants to say. Jacob says that he
realizes Charles had a thing with Angie. Had? Charles says. Well, Angie is in
love with him, Jacob says. Charles says okay, suppose she is...what can he do
for her? She's a doctor, she drives a BMW. He's a waitor, Charles says. That
doesn't need to matter, Jacob says. Charles says but it will. If he's so sure,
Jacob says, why is he here? Charles leaves.
