LOVING Speedy-Update for Friday, June 16:

STORYLINE: _THE INTRUDER_ AND THE INTRUDER
 (location: Wilder agency)
* Stephanie is modeling; Tony and Tess are looking on. Stephy says she
can't work like this -- with Tony standing there. Tess says that Tony
is an acquired taste. Tony offers to turn around, and Stephy accepts.
Suddenly, some press members burst in. Tess acts disappointed that the
press has found out about Stephy's stalker. Buck enters and says it is
a zoo out there. Tony steps in front of Buck and tells him to cool it.
* Tess introduces them. Tony offers to toss Buck out. Lucretia Jones
(from _The Intruder_) confronts Stephy; meanwhile, her photographer
keeps stepping on Bree's toes. Stephy wants to know how Lucretia
found out about this. "Like always, an anonymous call." But...she
thinks she knows who made the call (as she turns toward Tess).
* Tess says that who called is not important; but the stalker story is
not true. Lucretia says she has confirmation from the police, and
the fact that Stephy has a bodyguard is another confirmation. Tony
says he isn't her bodyguard, he is her husband. The photographer says
he has a plane to catch, so Stephy starts modeling again. Meanwhile,
Tony asks Buck how long he has been a model. Buck asks him, "Were you
dropped a lot as a baby or were you born this way?"
* Buck says he has to go. Tess begs him to stay. No, but Buck tells
Tony to brush up on his manners. Buck leaves. Tess tells Stephy that
she should wear shoes with that outfit and asks for the white flats.
Bree gets the box and hands it to Stephy. She opens it, then screams
and drops the box. A snake slithers out of the box. The photographer
 starts snapping pictures.

STORYLINE: NO BAIL?
 (location: police station)
* Alex is on the phone, asking why Danny Roberts was not held without
bail. He wants to make sure that Danny is kept away from his family.
Ava brings a picnic basket in (as Alex slams the phone down) and starts
to spread lunch on the desk. She tells him again that Casey's death
was not his fault. He broods, asking what he could have done to stop
it. He says he wants to make sure that everyone responsible "spends
the rest of their miserable lives in jail."
[At Ally's house.]
Ally is on the phone with Cooper, thanking him for his offer of help.
The doorbell rings and Ally hangs up. It's more flowers. Ally asks
the delivery person to just set them on the table. As she gets out a
buck for a tip, the delivery person sets the flowers down and we see
that it is Danny. Ally sees that, too, and stops in her tracks.
* [At the police station.]
Alex tells Ava about the call he overheard between Jocelyn Brown and
her mother. Ava wonders what kind of person would defend someone she
knows is guilty. She asks if maybe Jocelyn is in the mob; Alex had her
checked out (Columbia Law School, etc., etc.). Alex asks if she would
mind if she cuts this short. She says she'll leave him alone if he'll
leave himself alone. He says he will; he's going to see Ally. Ava
says she doesn't want any visitors. Alex doesn't care. Ava says OK,
then, she'll go with him, but (she closes the blinds) she wants about
 30 minutes for romance first.
[At Ally's house.]
Ally snaps up Tyler and asks what he is doing there. He says he is
there to say he is sorry. Ally tells him to take his flowers to the
cemetary. He says he knows she is angry, but he really is sorry.
She asks if he is sorry he is still alive while Casey, who never did
anything wrong (!), is dead. He says Casey was a big boy playing with
bigger boys. Ally goes to the phone to call the police. He stops her
and says he'll go, but not until he does what he came to do, which is
to apologize. "You killed my husband. The person I love more than
anything else in this world. So 'I'm sorry' just doesn't quite cut it.
So get the HELL out of my house right now."
* Danny holds out some money. Ally says she can make her own money,
and since she knows how he got that money, it makes her sick. She
tells him again to get his "pathetic self" out of there. He leaves,
saying he has "done his part." She gets his flowers and throws them
at him, saying he forgot something.
* As Danny picks up his money, Alex and Ava show up. Alex pins Danny
against the wall and threatens him that if shows up again, he'll throw
him in jail, no matter what his sister/lawyer says. Also, if he hurts
Ally, he will find him -- and he says he'll leave the rest up to his
imagination. He lets him go and he leaves, smugly. Alex asks if he
has hurt her. She says, no. Ava says that Danny could hurt *him* if
 he keeps up that behavior.

STORYLINE: NOT WHAT HE SEEMS?
 (location: hospital)
* Angie enters Jacob's room. He asks where she has been. She says he
isn't her only patient. He says he is her favorite one, though.
* She says she would rather have him as a friend than as a patient. He
asks if that is all he can get from her. She says yes, for now. She
is returning a favor -- him saving her and Frankie's lives -- and that
is it. She says he also gave her a chance to fix things from her past.
She tells him about her feelings (about Jesse) when he first came to.
It was as if she had saved him. He says he felt exactly the same when
he pulled her and Frankie from the car -- as if he had saved Theresa
and David. It was as if he was able to "make it right." She says she
doesn't quite feel that way, but at least she was able to make peace
with it. She smiles. He says he didn't think doctors could smile.
She says they can't; friends can. He says it is that "f" word again.
She says she is going to marry Charles, and that's it. He says he
*needs* to hear her say she loves him.
* She says she feels something for him, but she doesn't know what it
is. She says she does know one thing, though: when she thought he was
dying, he became the most important thing in her life. She says that
things are complicated and her feelings about Jesse are very mixed-up.
Jacob says that when he first came to town, he was trying to "get"
Charles. When you have so much hate, you are very confused... Angie
gets paged and, over Jacob's protests, leaves to answer the page.
* The page was Jeremy, who exaggerated. He wanted to tell her how sorry
he was to hear about the kidnapping. Then, he says he heard something
about Jacob while he was in Pine Valley. "I'm afraid he's not what
 he seems."
