Angie begs Jacob to put the gun down. He shoots into the air. Jacob tells
Carolyn that she killed his wife and kid. Angie says and she'll pay for that.
Now, put the gun down, she begs. Charles reaches for it and Jacob gives it to
him. Charles yanks her up and tells her to get going. Angie thanks Jacob for
doing that. He collapses. Angie screams and Charles turns to look at him.

Alex goes to work and after some small talk about the funeral and no word from
Charles he wonders where his files are. The files, Denny's lawyer/sister says,
have been subpoened.

Buck goes into the Rodeo bar and Tess is surprised to see him. Does she want a
drink? No, there is nothing that will make her feel better.

Who are you? Steffi asks. Well, that would have been a good question BEFORE she
opened the door. Please, don't hurt her, Steffi wines. That is the antithesis of
his reason for being here. He likes to use a new word three times a day in order
to add it to his vocabulary. Steffi is very scared. He introduces himself as
Tony, the bodyguard, and looking her over, he guesses she's the body.

Angie yells for someone to call an ambulance. Got it, Charles says. Angie is
frantic. Where is that ambulance? He just called it. She wants to know where the
hell is the ambulance! Charles seems upset that she's so worried.

Bodyguard? She didn't hire a bodyguard. Tess did, he says. Does he have any ID?
Good, Tony says, now she's catching on. Don't trust anyone, his uncle says, even
if you've seen them naked. Tony suggests they call Tess. Steffi says Tess isn't
at the office, she was going out after the funeral. Oh, yeah, the Bowman guy, he
read about it in the paper. His name is...was...Casey, Steffi says with a sigh.
Tony asks if he was a friend of hers. What business is it of his? Steffi yells.
Tony says she's not very friendly. Tony wants to get to know her. WHat's her
favorite color? Steffi doesn't like this. He says he heard she likes frongs.
He's never gotten into frog legs, but if that's what she likes to eat. No, she
says, not to eat...she has a pet! He goes through her stuff. What the hell does
he think he's doing? Security check, Tony says. She doesn't have much closet
space, but he doesn't have much stuff. What does he think he's doing; moving in?
That's it! Tony says.

The lawyer says she is surprised that they let someone so personally involved on
the case. Alex says when a child dies because a man is dealing drugs, he gets
VERY personally involved. They spar some more. She suggest that he cool down and
have a glass of milk. He says he has a suggestion for her....she says it doesn't
have to be this way. Alex says it's ironic..the drugs that killed the little
girl saved the dealer's life. What does he mean? the lawyer asks. The bullet
that was aimed to rip his liver apart was deflected by a big bag of cocaine. He
says he doesn't understand what kind of person would work so hard to get slime
like this off. Someone comes over to Alex and says Harrison is back, he's at the
hospital. Alex says he's there. Alex turns to the lawyer and says the next time
she sees the slime, maybe she should ask if he's kept track of all the other
people that have died.

Tony struts around the room and says the bed is big enough for two. What? Steffi
seems in shock. He's kidding, Tony says. He'll call the manager and get an extra
bed. He closes the curtain and tells her she's advertising for the stalker. She
opens the curtain and says she likes the light. He says she is asking for
trouble. He says he has to talk to Tess, she's gonna cost twice. She suggests
that he quit and go back to Brooklyn. How'd she know he was from Brooklyn? She
mimics his accent. She wants him to leave now, or she'll...she'll...she'll WHAT?

Angie is barking orders in the ER. Alex comes in and goes over to Charles and
Frankie and asks how they are. Fine, fine. Angie? She's fine. Alex said he heard
that Carolyn was arrested. So, Charles was right. Yeah, Charles says, damn
straight. He wants a written appology from Graham. Alex says that'll be hard.
Graham was the man they were looking for, he's the head of the drug ring in
Corinth; he's the one who shot Casey. Casey? Frankie says. You haven't heard?
Casey is dead. Close up of Frankie's face...he's devastated.

Tess is upset. Buck is trying to cheer her up. Tess asks if he knows a good
photographer. No, why? Buck asks. Casey was a good one and he'll be hard to
replace. Is that all she's thinking about, herself? Well, it's hard when there
isn't a man around to help with the problems. Stop it, stop trying to manipulate
people, Buck warns her. She says she doesn't need his understanding, she's been
on her own long enough to be able to survive. But, she adds, the soda commercial
is the last client she has lined up, if she doesn't get something else, she'll
be adding to the homeless problem. She has to do SOMETHING...anything Buck says
that everyone has to figure out what they can and cannot live with. Is that why
he's here and Stacey is not? Tess chides.

Buck and Tess are playing pool. He says that the only reason he's here while
Stacey left is cause he's got a business to run. She thinks it's an excuse. She
sinks the 8 ball on the break. She wins? Yes, bar rules, Buck says. Play again?
Yeah, Buck says. He tell sher to rack 'em, she says he should, she just won.
She's happy that he and Stacey made up over the commercial. They talk. Buck tell
sher to take her hand off the doorknob; he's not walking through that door
again. The game is over. He walks away. It's only begun, she says under her
breath. What? Buck turns to her. Nothing, she's just mumbling to herself, she
says.

Tony and Steffi talk. He says he understands about her problem, but if she's
gonna puke, could she please tell him? How does he know? she asks. He never
reveals his source, he says. Oh, great another Woodward and Berstein (I hope I
got that right). Who? Tony asks. Nevermind; she wants him out! She opens the
door. He lays down on the bed.

Alex tells Charles and Frankie about the shooting and how Casey saved Ally. Alex
appologizes for having to tell them. Frankie is upset. Charles asks if he's
okay. No, Casey was shot! Charles sees Angie and goes out and asks her how Jacob
is. He's off to surgery. It looks like it was a subdermal hematoma from the
accident. She tells him to go home, it looks like she'll be here for a long
while. He offers to stay, she turns away and tells him that's okay.
