From: Robert Willers <willers@trombone.sps.mot.com>

Since Karin spaced last Friday's update, and I've finally caught up, I
will go ahead and do updates for both of the last two Fridays.

Due to failures of our two "good" VCRs, we have had to haul out my old
reliable 14-year-old JVC. Unfortunately, it has no remote control, so
I will be doing this update as if I was watching live (in other words,
Debbie-style). So now I run to the VCR, press start, run back, and...

LOVING Speedy-Update for Friday, June 2:

STORYLINE: YOU FEEL WHAT YOU FEEL
 (location: Tess' loft)
* Jacob is on the phone, telling someone to stop worrying about him.
He hangs up. There is a knock on the door; it is Angie.
* Jacob opens the door. "You scared the hell out of me." Angie just
stopped in on the way to work. "Come in, Dr. Welby." She asks how
he feels. He is still breathing and his heart is beating, and he
feels like he has a massive hangover. Angie says that is exactly how
he should feel. Angie asks where Tess is. She's at work. So you're
here alone, asks Angie. No, says Jacob, you're here. Angie starts
to leave, but Jacob stops her to talk to her. He didn't have that
opportunity yesterday, with Charles around. Angie says she thought
Charles and he were getting along pretty well. He says he isn't the
type of guy he would normally hang with, but he knows he's not one of
the bad guys. He says he almost wishes he still hated Charles, because
it would make this easier. He says he was scamming her the last time
he said these words, but it is now true that he is totally in love with
her. He can't pretend it is not true, and "I'm in deep."
* None.
* Angie says she believes him, but she loves Charles and she is going to
marry him. He asks what if Charles wasn't in the picture. She says
that really has nothing to do with it. "What if I met you before I
met Charles? What if trees were blue?" She says she isn't going to
look back or forward, she is going to concentrate on what is happening
now. He asks why she came here today. She says she is his doctor.
He accuses her of coming by because "you feel what you feel." You
might not be happy about it, but you feel what you feel.

STORYLINE: REAL REALITY
 (location: Alden mansion)
* Clay is browsing old family photos. Gwyneth enters. Clay asks how
Curtis is; she says he is better. He asks to be included the next
time she goes out to visit him. Gwyn says there might not be a next
time -- he wants to come home.
* None.
* Clay says he wants to come home, too, but he's not sure he is ready
to come home. Gwyn says he is. They talk about Trisha; Gwyn says she
doesn't want to come home, and they'll have to live with that. He
asks if she doesn't sometimes want to start over. Gwyn says Stephy is
leaving for Paris tomorrow. He asks how *she* came up. She says that
Stephy started over and he should do the same. She leaves. He types
his name and Stephy's into the "Implicit Reality" game.
* He puts on the visor and starts the game.
Stephy, in a negligee, climbs all over him. "What's this?" "An
apology." She says she's not going to Paris. She always wanted
him. Gwyn shows up. He asks what she's doing there. She says
it's *his* fantasy. It must be that he really wants *her*. He
asks her to bring Stephy back. She says *he* has to do that. He
tries, but it is Gwyn again. She says he must want his family,
    not Stephy.
He takes off the visor. Where he had typed "Steffi" on the screen,
 the name "Gwyn" now appears.

STORYLINE: BULLETS OVER CORINTH
 (starting location: Police station)
* Alex asks officer Reiners to get a log of all incoming calls and all
outgoing calls from Graham's office. He asks another officer for
Graham's log. The other officer tells Alex that Casey was there
yesterday to visit Graham, and that Graham asked him to meet him
 somewhere. "Where???!!!"
[At the carnival grounds.]
Casey and Ally open the door. They see Graham and they're relieved.
"Where the hell were you? We almost got killed." "Almost doesn't
count." Graham produces a gun and aims it at them.
* [At the police station.]
The officer didn't hear where they were supposed to meet. He says he
is sorry and he leaves. He and Reiners argue about the assignment he
gave him. Reiners says he was too busy and gave it to another officer.
The other officer shows up with the phone logs and says one call did
not match up. It was from a pay phone. "Where?!" He asks why it
matters. Alex pushes him, asking "where?" again. He says it was
from the old carnival grounds. Alex runs out the door.
[At the carnival grounds.]
Graham says he wishes Casey hadn't taken those pictures. Casey now
realizes what is going on. Casey asks how he found out. He marked
the bills when Alex requisitioned the money for Casey to pay Roberts
off. Casey calls him scum and accuses him of killing the nine-year-old
girl. "Shut up!" He says the offer was too good for him to turn it
down. Casey rags on him some more, and Graham tells him to come talk
to him when he turns 50 years old. Oh, but you won't turn 50, says
Graham, as he points the gun at them again.
* Alex shows up. Roberts is on the ground, barely alive. He points
the gun to his head and asks where they are. Danny asks him to call
an ambulance. He says he will if he tells him where they are. He
 feebly points toward the barn.
Inside, Casey steps in front of Ally. Graham laughs and says he has
a .357 magnum which could easily kill both of them with one bullet.
Graham offers to strike a deal with Casey -- he gives him the negatives
and he'll let them go. Casey laughs. Graham says he is a man of his
word. He is a police officer, 25 years of experience, commendations,
etc. Roberts is dead, so there aren't any witnesses. Casey says OK,
the negatives are in his hotel room. Graham shoots a shot into the
air. He has been at his hotel room and he knows they aren't there.
"Well, you can't say I didn't try." He points the gun at them and
 walks toward them.
* Casey says Graham is going to rot in hell for this. "This and a few
other things." He asks how old Casey is. 23. "Then shut the hell
up." Alex appears and tells Graham to throw his gun down. Graham
turns and shoots. Casey leaps in front of Ally and takes the bullet.
Casey (with a bullet wound in his chest) and Ally fall to the ground
 in slow-motion.
