			    HAPPY SUMMER EVERYONE!

Today's episode finds us with 2 storylines:

Jailhouse Rock with Cooper, Steffi and Deborah
The Trisha Mystery	with Gwyn, Trucker, Dinah Lee, Buck and Curtis

[Jailhouse Rock]

We open today with Cooper stuck in a jail cell. He's dressed in prison
garb (since he shed his yesterday at the bank to give to Steffi so she
could escape unnoticed while they rifled through Deborah's safety deposit
box). He's playing with a deck of cards, and then tries to bribe the
guard to have another phone call ... Excuse me, I'd like to make a phone
call ... You already have ... Well I'd like to make another one ... Sorry
only one ... Then I want to send a fax! Anything! ... Funny ... OK, I'll
give you a hundred bucks ... Is that a bribe? ... Well, that depends on
if you take it or not ... And just about then Steffi enters the walkway
outside the cell accompanied by her mother. Cooper is happy to see them,
thinking they're there to spring him when Steffi shows him that she's
handcuffed also.

Deborah tells the female police officer that she wants a moment alone
with her daughter. The officer agrees hoping that she'll drop the
charges stating that the court system is overbooked as it is and doesn't
need domestic cases. Deborah offers to drop the charges IF Steffi and
Cooper quit snooping around and accept hers and Clay's marriage. After
some smart remarks Cooper agrees, just wanting to get out of jail. But
Steffi declines the offer. Instead she taunts Deborah ... MOther, I'll
find out what you have on Clay. You know why? Because he loves me and I
love him. You know how I know that? By the way he kisses me and holds
me. I've never seen him ever kiss you. He can't even be near you
without showing his revulsion. ... Deborah tells the officer to lock her
up and Steffi is put in the same cell as Cooper.

Cooper gets in one last sling at Deborah for doing this to her own
daughter. Deborah leaves, untouched. Cooper then tries to comfort
Steffi. Steffi wants to call Clay, but once she learns that Clay did
nothing to help Cooper decides to stick it out there with Cooper. She
reasons that she got him into this so she'll stay with him. Cooper
compliments Steffi, telling her that she's stronger than he thought.

She complains about being there with him, but relents and they chat
nicely together for a while. She's tired but afraid she won't sleep in
the cell. He offers to tuck her in. (BTW, she's still wearing Cooper's
shirt and pants complete with the black pumps she had on as she
masqueraded as Deborah.) She crawls into the bunk and he pulls the
blanket up to her chin and tells her a fairy tale ... There was once a
beautiful princess ... You realy think I'm pretty? ... who was locked in
an Ivory Tower by a wicked step-mother. Sound familiar? Anyway a really
cool king came by and swept her off her feet ... Cooper walks over to his
cot as he's talking and lies down. Steffi is still lying there listening,
staring off into space ... Anyway they got together and lived happily ...
Cooper shuts his eyes ... ever after ... and he looks like he's sleeping.
Meanwhile Steffi lies there and starts to smile ...

[The Trisha Mystery]

At the Tides ... Gwyn is in the livingroom with Trucker and Dinah Lee.
She is crying and overwhelmed with the possibility that Trisha is
possibly alive. Trucker is trying to down play the situation, saying
that he could be wrong. Gwyn gives an impassioned plea ... Trucker,
yesterday my daughter was dead. Today there is a glimmer of hope,
however small. Don't take that away from me. I've had this feeling that
she is still here. ... At the end of the sentence, Buck arrives dressed
in a blue t-shirt with a red AIDS ribbon pinned to the front. He wonders
what's going on and why Gwyn is in tears and she happily exclaims ...
Buck! You're here. You won't believe this, but Trisha might be alive!
... Buck is shocked ... OK, that's it. This has got to stop - NOW! ...
Trucker argues with Buck that he doesn't know everything. And they
explain to Buck that the medical examiner never examined the dental
records to postively identify the body, so they're not sure it was
Trisha'a. Trucker also mentions that they only found a wedding ring and
a locket. Trisha always wore the locket but it was found far away from
the car. Buck asks a silent Dinah Lee (who btw, is still dressed in the
beige outfit: paluzzo pants with a vest that is only buttoned at the top
two buttons and braless) how she feels about this?

Buck takes Dinah Lee out on the front porch and asks why she didn't take
his advice? ... About making Trucker choose between me and Trisha?
Maybe because I don't want to hear the answer ... Dinah Lee tells Buck
that she's about to give up. She came across Christopher the other day
and he was listening to a music box that his mother gave him, and it was
playing "Somewhere My Love" and he was crying. Dinah Lee sadly recalls
that this was the first time she's seen Christopher cry over his mother.
Buck thinks about his dealings with Curtis and goes to leave. When Dinah
Lee asks him where he's going, he replies ... to find some real answers.

Meanwhile in Rome, Shana and Leo are back inside the cafe asking the
Maitre'd about the gentleman who was seated at the table over there. He
leaves to find the waiter. Leo is holding a sleeping Patty throughout
the whole scene (cute). He's wondering why Shana is following up on this
and she wants to know why Jeff would lie about being alone? ... Maybe his
date was ugly? ... Shana laughs but continues telling Leo how Jeff was
institutionalized because of his obsession with Trisha. And when she
told him about her death, she thought he would be devestated but instead
he asked how Trucker handled it, and also asked how Trisha and Trucker's
relationship was before she died. Strange. The waiter comes up and
confirms that Jeff was in the company of a woman. This gets Shana
wondering again, and she feels something isn't quite right. Then she
remembers that Jeff always blamed Trucker for anything bad that happened
to Trisha. She concludes that Jeff's reaction means that he blames
Trucker for Trisha's death. She starts to worry about Trucker's safety
and decides to call him to warn him.

Buck goes to the Rodeo Bar. Curtis is behind the bar and comments on
Buck coming in early. Buck tells him ... I was at the Tides. ... Oh
no, don't tell me anything about Trucker and Dinah Lee, I don't need to
hear it ... No, I was worried about your Mother ... Why? ... Because they
think there's a possibility that your sister is still alive! ... What?
... Yeah. Trucker has been getting all of these "signs" and they're even
thinking of exuming the body! ... Curtis is shocked but asks ... Do you
think Trisha is still alive? ... NO! And look what it's doing to all of
them. Don't forget that I was with your Mother when Trisha died, I know
what it did to her. And that's all going to happen again! And Trucker!
He's going to have to go through losing his wife again. Do you know how
that will make him feel? ... Of course I do! What do you think I go
through whenever I think of Dinah Lee? I still love her. So I'm not
perfect and sometimes I get mad at Trucker. ... Buck accuses Curtis of
having something to do with the "signs" and Curtis maintains that he
wouldn't do that to his sister's memory and he storms out of the bar.

Curtis passes a humming Susie the waitress on his way out. Susie is all
smiles as she greets Buck behind the bar. He comments on her cheeriness
and she says it's because it's payday, and she's still humming. Buck
hands her the paycheck and she laughingly asks him ... What's the name of
this tune? ... and she hums some bars from "Somewhere My Love" and Buck
gets a shocked look on his face ... "Somewhere My Love" from Dr. Schivago
(I know I spelled that one wrong) ... That's it! I've been going crazy.
Curtis gave me this beautiful music box and that's what it plays. What?
... Buck doesn't answer her but he's got one big grin on his face!

At the Tides, the phone rings and Trucker picks it up. It's Shana. The
scene switches from Shana in Rome to Trucker at the Tides with Gwyn and
Dinah Lee listening and wondering what Shana is saying. Shana tells
Trucker about her encounter with Jeff. Trucker wasn't aware that he'd
been let out of the Institution. Shana ends the conversation by telling
Trucker to be careful. Trucker hangs up and Dinah Lee asks if everything
is all right? Trucker is stunned and tells her that ... No, everything
isn't all right. It's wierd. ... He tells Gwyn and Dinah Lee that Jeff
is in Rome, and about his reaction to the news of Trisha's death. Gwyn
is shocked but tells him that Jeff wouldn't come after him.

Gwyn urges Trucker to call the place Jeff was committed to, to confirm
his release. He dials information and gets the number for Dunellen. He
then dials Dunellen and asks for some information ... Hello, I wonder if
you could help me. Could you tell me if a Jeff Hartman has been
released? ... they put him on hold ... I don't know if they can even tell
me this over the phone ... Yeah. Hello? Could you tell me if a Jeff
Hartman has been released? He has? Well thank you very much ... Uh, one
more thing. Can you tell me *when* he was released? ... Silence ...
Thank you very much ... He hangs up and looks to Gwyn. ... What Trucker?
When was he released? ... April 2, 1993 ... Oh My God! ... Dinah Lee
asks ... What? ... Trucker answers ... That was the day Trisha died ...
