Subject: LOVING: Update for Thursday, June 9, 1994
Status: R

Leo tells Shana (hello Margaret :-)) that Patti is down for the
night. Shana yawns and Leo remarks that she used to be really excited
about her job. Where is he going with this conversation? Well, he is
surprised that she is not even considering the job in Rome. Can he
tempt her? He gives her a tape, "Roman Holiday".

At Tyler's birthday party, Cooper comes in and Ally says she is sorry
that he did not make the party. Well, he thought Casey would not want
him here. Casey didn't make the party, Ally says.

Jeremy is on the phone with Gwyn and finds out that Frankie took her
sports car. Angie tells Charles not to let Janie out of the
hospital. He stops her. Some doctors tell Angie that they want to
admit her for some more tests.

Leo suggest maybe a double feature, Three Coins in a Fountain. Shana
says she is not going to Rome. Then why does the firm keep sending the
job offers? He knows Shana is still worried about Patti. What about
their wedding? She says. They'll manage. What about her case load? She
asks. The ones boring her to tears? She tells him she is happy with
Leo and Patti.

Ally tells Cooper that Casey got delayed, and she is gonna keep Tyler
up so he can see Casey when he gets home. Ally tells Cooper she is
sorry she didn't call him. Cooper tells Ally that he has Tyler's
present parked outside. Ally looks at Tyler and says what is Daddy up
to now? In comes a Jeep Power Wheels. It's safe, Cooper says. For an 8
year old, Ally says. He also started an account for Tyler. Ally looks
and says it's a lot of money. Well, it's there if they need it. Ally
and Cooper talk about Steffi. Ally thinks he's jealous. Cooper says
they have a thing, but they hate each other, and he hates everything
she says. Okay, Ally says. Can they drop this? He asks. They can if he
can; can he? Cooper gives Ally a noogie. Casey walks in.

Charles fires questions at Janie. Where has she been for the past few
days? Do I look like the Missing Person Bureau? What happened to her
wallet? Charles is distracted, and Janie runs off, right into
Frankie, and she continues out of the hospital.

Casey makes his presence known. Ally runs and kisses him. Casey gives
Tyler a teddy bear. Casey sees the Power Wheels. Gee, I don't have to
guess who gave him the useful present. Oh, Casey turns to Ally and
gives her one other present. He got them a house.

Jeremy tells Charles that Frankie stole Gwyn's car. Just wait until I
get my hands on him. Here's your chance, Jeremy says, as Frankie comes
in. Frankie lays into Charles and says he had no right telling Frankie
to stay home. He's always been there for his mother before, he always
will be. Frankie tells Charles this is HIS fault, he was with Angie
the most, he should have noticed the change. The doctor comes over and
tells them Angie has been admitted and is in Room 323 and only one
visitor at a time. Frankie clapped Charles on the shoulders and tells
him he has to stay here. Frankie leaves, and Charles tells the doctor
it's all right, he belongs with his mother.

Leo tells Shana this is an opportunity to start their lives
over. Shana is surprised that he is willing to leave Corinth. Leo says
they are going to Vegas. Shana thinks they were talking about
Rome. Leo says Burnell's has been loosing money for the past 2
quarters and Shana has been sinking money into the store and he wants
to get her investment back. That's why he wants to go to Vegas.

Angie is crying. Frankie tells her she scared him. Angie tells him he
shouldn't have come, especially the way he did. Well, about
Mrs. Alden's car. He didn't tell her everything. When he got here, he
wasn't thinking. He left the motor running, with the keys inside. It's
worse, he continues. When he went back outside, the car was missing
(gee, could Janie have taken it? :-) ) Oh, Frankie, Angie sighs.

You bought a house? Ally says. Not quite, the sellers accepted his
price, they just have to get bank financing. Cooper takes Tyler (who
starts crying when he picked him up) to get some of the birthday cake
in the kitchen (so Ally and Casey can talk). Ally says they can't
afford a house. Casey says it needs work, it's on the Preservation
list, adn very affordable. She says she always wanted a house. How
much work does it need. A lot, but nothing that they can't
handle. But, that'll cost money, too. Casey says he told her that he
wants to take care of them. He hugs Ally and looking over his
shoulder, Ally sees the bank book and the mortgage sitting side by
side.

Leo tells Shana Stacey has agreed to watch Patti while they're in Las
Vegas, and they're having a tribute to the King. If they hurry, they
can make the last show. Shana is getting excited about the trip, too.

Frankie tries to find an excuse Gwyn will beleive. Jeremy nixes them
all. The cops come in with Janie, unconscious on a strecher. They were
chasing her in a stolen car. Oh, no, Frankie says. Did it crash? Well,
the cop says, the out-of-state owner will not be happy when they see
what happened to the sports car.

Meanwhile, Angie and Charles are talking about her and how she put a
scare into them. The doctor comes in and tells Angie that they only
have theories as to what is wrong with her, that they won`t know for
sure until the test results came back tomorrow. Angie asks Charles to
check on Frankie. He kisses her and leaves. Well, Angie says to the
doctor, it's cancer...I have leukemia.
