				LOVing Update
			    Tuesday, April 4th, 1995

Today's (ok, last week's) episode finds us with 2 storylines, and plenty
of flashbacks for those viewers who may be new since Darnell joined the cast:

The Missing Men of Corinth
Cooper with Ally and Steffi, (and Casey and Jeremy)
Trucker with Ava and Dinah Lee

[Cooper]

We open today's show in the recently-much-used locale of the Health Club.
Today the fashion coup goes to the women since they are doing the
workouts instead of the men. Ally is all tan and blonde in a short black
bodysuit under a bright yellow t-back (butt?) excercise outfit. It seems
as if all the women of Corinth are in there ... Steffi in a tank top suit,
Ava in black of course, Dinah Lee in a rather dull green, and Stacey out
shined by them all in her excercise motif.

Dinah Lee and Ava joke after the class and Ava offers to cheer Dinah Lee up
with a trip to Burnell's and a complete makeover. They leave with
Dinah Lee not looking too motivated, but being dragged over by an overly
enthusiastic best-friend Ava.

Ally and Steffi chat about Steffi's mom and Cooper being gone. They
decide to adjourn to the refreshment bar for guava/strawberry/carrot juice
and more shared confidences, or in this case Ally's shoulder for Steffi to
cry on.

Stacey is left alone on the excercise floor, frantically tying a sweat
shirt over her boyish figure, as Tess whirls into the room. Tess offers
Stacey more responsibilty at the Ad Agency. Stacey is flattered, albiet
suspicious of Tess's motives, but she refuses. She tells Tess that her
life is complete. She has her family and ... Buck! ... she doesn't need
anything more. That one stung Tess, but she tries again and Stacey
refuses and walks away humming to herself. She wishes Tess luck, and as
Tess is left standing alone she murmurs to herself ... Ah, luck has
*nuthin'* to do with it! ...

Meanwhile Stacey's perfect life isn't going as perfectly as she suspects
as Buck is in charge of taking the kids to school. They stop off at
the Rodeo Bar so Buck can pick up something, and JJ talks him into teaching
him how to play pool. Buck agrees and they all horse around and have fun.
Christopher is there, and they have a heart-to-heart talk about his
missing papa Trucker. Christopher is confused and thinks his mother
doesn't love him. Buck reassures him that his daddy is out looking for
his mommy who is sick right now, but not to worry because daddy will find
her and get her help and they'll both come home. Christopher asks if
his mommy was pretty ... very pretty ... but not as pretty as Dinah Lee!
She's the prettiest! ... Buck doesn't act too thrilled to see such
loyalty from Christopher to Dinah Lee.

Steffi and Ally chat over juice. Steffi snorts into a hankie as she
blows her nose. Ally teases her about how attractive that is, and Steffi
confesses that Cooper taught her how to do that. If you're gonna blow
your nose, then *blow* it! They laugh. Update on Deborah, how Steffi
feels she has to stay, but she and Cooper will make it through the
separation, he calls her 2-3 times per day. Steffi realizes she's
hogging the conversation and asks about Casey. Ally glowingly tells her
that they are wonderful, getting to know each other over again, and that
they'll get through the mess they're in.

Meanwile at Jeremy's house, Casey is reliving his arrest in the drug
dealer's house. Jeremy enters and tells him that the DA is going to
charge him with dealing as well as possesion. Jeremy offers to let Casey
use his lawyer. Casey refuses to take his money but relents as Jeremy
reminds him it will be the lawyer taking the money not Casey. They
start looking at photos Casey recently took, and as Casey vows to find
a way out of the charges, he notes one picture of an old bridge has also
captured two sleazy looking guys huddled together aparently exchanging
drugs. This gives him an idea, and we see him confront the drug
dealer himself in a later scene. They exchange threats, Casey tells him
that the DA has offered him a deal if he names names, this prompts an
ominous threat from the drug dealer that Casey doesn't know who he's
dealing with. Casey doesn't back down, shoves the guy and says yes
he does!

Lastly, in the Rodeo Bar, Stacey walks in and sees the mayhem of her
kids playing pool with Mr. Perfect Buck instead of being safely at
school and she screeches ... Buck! What are you doing???!!! ...

[Trucker]

This was the big shocker of the day, so it deserved it's own synopsis
away from the blurr of activity above ...

Ava has taken Dinah Lee to the Beauty Shop at Burnell's. Dinah Lee is
seated in a chair with a mud mask, a fluffy pink robe, and cucumbers
over her eyelids as the attendent turns down the lights and starts some
soft music for the client's total relaxation. Dinah Lee drifts off into
a memory of her farewell to Trucker in Italy. ... They are in the hotel
room and she tells him that she is going home. Trucker wants her to
stay, she knows she should go and let him complete his search for his
thought-dead-but-recently-discovered-alive-wife Trisha. Trucker tells
her he loves *her*, she takes his face between her hands, and softly
asks him ... Look into my eyes and tell me that if when you find Trisha
she runs to you and tells you she loves you and wants you back, that
you'll still come home and marry me ... He stares at her but says
nothing, she releases him and turns to an open window. As she looks
forlornly out onto the city below, he encircles her waist from behind
and holds her silently against his chest ....

Back to the present, she removes the cucumbers and wonders aloud ...
Trucker, I hope you find her and don't lose yourself in the process ...

Ava enters, dressed in her trademark black skirted business suit.
This suit's skirt has lost a bit of hem line, must be in an effort to
combat Steffi and Ally appearing in their gym clothes through out the
entire show! They talk about Trucker, Ava reassuring Dinah Lee that
Trucker loves her and hinting that she's got the upper hand since
Trucker's son Christopher is so attached to her. Dinah Lee still isn't
any happier and Ava gets paged to fix some store crisis.

Left alone, Dinah Lee decides she's done with the makeover, even after
Ava has joked and sweetly told her that a makeover is always the thing
to make you feel better! As Dinah Lee gets up, looks in the mirror
and ties her curly hair into a small knot in the back - Ava stops her
before she can escape. ... Dinah Lee, where do you think you're going?
... Ava I have to leave ... Nonsense, you're going to sit down and get
the works (as she unties Dinah Lee's hair and starts fluffing it) and
that includes this hair! (smiling the entire time) ... Dinah Lee still
isn't smiling and Ava finally gets annoyed with her ... Dinah Lee, what
is *wrong* with you?? ... What's wrong with me, Ava? OK, I'll tell you,
I'M PREGNANT!! ....

That's it for Tuesday (last week)! Sorry this is so late - but at
least it's here. CAZ'll probably beat me with today's update!
