LOVING bonus summary for Tuesday, March 7:

Cooper slugs Clay. "Cabot wanted to know if we could work together.
I think we can now." Cooper tells Clay that he expects a job, but
at no higher a salary than anyone else. Clay says he has no "corner
offices" available right now, and offers him a position in Research.
Cooper is unsatisfied -- he wants to be treated like an Alden, or...
 "Or WHAT?" Cooper leaves silently.

At the police station, Jeremy brings his sketch of Jacob to Alex to have
him checked out. Alex tells Jeremy about Jacob's role in thwarting the
robbery at Le Bistro. Then they discuss their feelings about Gilbert:
Alex still gets feelings that Jeremy *is* Gilbert. Alex says he wants
to be friends; they agree and shake hands. Charles enters and sees the
sketch. "Who the hell is that?" They tell him everything about Jacob.

Tess apologizes to Casey and offers him a job. Casey goes on the
offensive, asking if her new photographer isn't working out. Tess
admits he is right and confesses how poorly the agency is doing.
She asks if they can be friends -- OK. She asks if he will work for
her. He wants a day or two to think it over. She says she needs him
tonight. He says he has another commitment: a date.

At the agency, Stephanie is helping Ally choose a dress and making her
up. She asks why. For a date. "Ally, you can't go on a date." "The
date is with Casey. *Hel-LO*?" They "girl talk" about the date.
Stephy tells Ally about turning Paris down. As Cooper walks by and
overhears, Stephanie tells Ally that she would have loved the Paris
job, "but you can't have everything." He makes his presence known.
"How long have you been here?" "Long enough to know that I'm the
 luckiest guy in the world."

LOVING bonus summary for Thursday, March 9:

Cooper tells Stephanie about his Alden Enterprises job proposal. She
tells him that the Madame called, but she isn't returning the call.
She claims she's not even tempted.

At Angie's house, she comes home late (Charles was worried). She
seduces him, but afterward, she says he was only 50% there. He says
he can't tell her what's bugging him. That goes on for a while, then
he shows her Jeremy's sketch of Jacob.

Frankie, sitting at a table at Le Bistro, asks Jacob what he is doing
in Corinth. Jacob him gives the line about his sister. Frankie says
he thinks Jacob is full of it. Neal shows Jacob the business card
Charles left when he came to see him. Frankie leaves. Neal sends
Jacob out to get some more rice; the rice in the restaurant had bugs
in it. In an alley behind the restaurant, Jacob and Frankie talk
some more. They decide to have coffee some time, Frankie will buy.

Deborah storms into Le Bistro and asks where Jacob is. Neal tells her
about the bug-infested rice. He says he would never run out on her,
"at least not before payday." Jacob and Frankie return. "Where'd you
go for the rice? China?" Jacob and Frankie decide to postpone the
 coffee until another time.

Also at Le Bistro, Ally and Casey do a lot of "first date" small-talk.
Ally admits that her favorite movie is E. T. (She claims to rent it
for Tyler, but she watches it every time.) She also admits that "I've
always wanted to be a cheerleader." Casey admits that he "studied
ballet for four years." They are served lobster as their free meal
(which Deborah had offered to each of the participants in the thwarted
robbery). Ally informs Casey that she never kisses on the first date.

LOVING Update for Friday, March 10:

STORYLINE: A FUTILE EXERCISE
 (location: The Galaxy Gym)
* Deborah and Stephanie are riding stationary bikes. Deborah complains.
Stephy says it is the way she works off her stress. They dismount.
Stephanie admits that she loves Deborah, even in spite of everything.
They hug. Stephanie says it's time for Round Two. "Wait a minute!"
Deborah, savoring her break, asks Stephy if anything is new with her.
Stephy says she has done a couple of test shoots, but nothing too big.
Deborah tells her to get rid of Tess. "You need bigger and better
things." "Oh, yeah, I forgot to tell you." She tells her about the
Paris job offer, and Deborah is elated. Then, she tells her that she
turned it down. Deborah looks like she has been shot.
* Deborah says she doesn't understand Stephanie. "Just hear me out."
She says she would have to leave Cooper -- he just asked for a job at
Alden Enterprises. Deborah thinks about it and says Stephanie made
the right choice, because "if I had to choose between a modeling job
and marrying an Alden, well I know --" "I'm not marrying an Alden.
I'm marrying a man I'm in love with." Stephanie says that the two of
them are *different*. Deborah says they have more in common than she
realizes. "Well, we're both completely neurotic." They laugh, then
Deborah says she is the only neurotic one. She says she once had a
chance to go to Paris, but she turned it down for someone. Stephanie
asks if she is making that up. No. Deborah says that Stephy already
knows that she was already pregnent when she got married; she thought
that if she had the baby, it would bring them closer together. "But
it didn't." "No, it didn't." Anyway, after she had Stephanie, she met
someone. She thought he was handsome, though she admits most people
wouldn't think so; he had a joy for living. Then, one day, he said,
"Let's run off to Paris." Stephanie asks why she didn't go. Because
there is someone who meant more to her than any man. Stephanie gives
 this some thought.
* None.
* Stephanie is angry. "You never learn." "What?" Stephanie can't
believe Deborah is doing it again. Doing what? Hurting people.
Deborah says Stephy is the last person on earth she'd want to hurt.
Stephy says that every time she thinks they can be normal, Deborah
hurts her again, and it is really her own fault because she thinks
Deborah can change. Deborah insists on knowing what she did wrong.
"Any time I say something about me, you turn it around and make it
something about you." Deborah says it is not true, and it is not fair.
Stephanie points out the similarities in their two stories, and to make
it deeper, *she* is the reason she couldn't go. Deborah says she does
not blame her for Paris. "You were my baby, my heart, my soul." What
about "Mr. Paris?" Deborah doesn't answer the question, saying that
she just wanted Stephanie to know that she knows how it feels to lose
something. Stephy says she has lost everything, including a decent
mom. [Ouch!] "Please don't say that." "Why not? It's the truth."
Stephanie says she is not going to lose Cooper, not for anything.
 She stomps out.

STORYLINE: ALDEN ENTERPRISES, PARIS OFFICE
 (location: Alden Enterprises, CEO office)
* Cooper interrupts a meeting between Clay and Cabot. Clay asks him to
make an appointment with his secretary. Cooper insists on seeing them
*now*. Cabot asks him to wait just a few minutes, they won't be long.
Clay tries to show him the door. Cooper thinks they will agree that
they have to hear this *now*.
* Cooper hands Clay and Cabot a folder. He says he has checked these
figures with Wendell Barnes. Clay asks when Barnes became an expert
on global economies. He says they already have an office in Europe.
Cooper says it is in London. Which is, Clay points out, a major city
in Europe. Cooper says it is isolated from the central markets of
Europe. Clay figures out Cooper's ploy, supposing that Cooper thinks
Paris would be more central. Cooper says he is surprised that A. E.
doesn't already have a Paris office. Cabot pipes up that Cooper has
a point. Clay shakes his head and asks who Cooper proposes run that
office. "It's simple. Me." No surprise to Clay.
* Clay asks where he even got the idea that he could run a candy store,
much less a foreign office for a major conglomerate. Cooper tells him
to just read the proposal -- if he brings the right people, he thinks
he could handle this job, no problem. Clay: "Um-hmm. Why the sudden
interest in Paris?" "I want to work on my Can-Can." "You willing to
leave your fiancee behind?" Cooper protests that he thought they would
not be discussing his personal matters, but Cabot stands up and says he
would like to know as well. He says that Stephy goes where he goes.
Cabot suggests they look at the proposal again, that's something they
can do. "Actually, I can do a great deal less than that."
* Cabot says Cooper has put some good work into his proposal, but he
needs some time before he gives him a final answer. "I am really
impressed." "I'm not." Clay says he needs no time to come up with
an answer. Cabot starts to say that they should discuss the proposal,
but Clay says that if he is to be in charge, these decisions should be
his to make. "My answer, Cooper, and it's quite definite, is no."

STORYLINE: BOYS WILL BE BOYS
 (location: Angie's house)
* Angie is staring at the sketch. Charles apologizes for showing it
to her and scaring her. She says she isn't scared; she is just amazed
how much it looks like Jesse.
Frankie enters. "Believe it. [...] Some resemblence, huh?" Angie
answers, "Incredible." "Wait until you see him in person." He says
he spoke to Jacob last night.
* Frankie tells them about going to Le Bistro last night. Charles says,
dericively, "Smart move," and that he has no common sense. He asks why
Frankie didn't come talk to him first. He says he tried, at the gym.
He says if he *had* told him, Jacob would probably be at the hospital
now. He says he knows Charles went there too. Charles says he did,
for the same reasons Frankie did. Angie tries to stop the bickering.
She succeeds, asking Frankie to *reasonably* tell them about Jacob. He
says he is "funny." "Funny 'strange' or funny 'ha-ha?'" A little of
both. Charles says he is concerned about him. Frankie tells Charles
not to order him around. Charles tells Frankie to stay away from
Jacob until they put his prints through. "You checked his prints?"
* Charles says he hasn't checked, but he would have. Frankie asks who
did. He says Jeremy brought them to the police, like anyone with any
sense would have. Angie asks if they came up with anything. No, he
is clean. Frankie asks if maybe they missed something, like a parking
ticket or a library card. Charles asks angrily why it is not OK for
him to check up on this guy, but it is OK for Frankie. "Because I'm
not some hot-headed cop who thinks he is the judge, the jury and the
executioner all rolled up into one." Angie is now furious. "Shut up!
Just shut up!" She tells them to be civilized or get out. Charles
says he is going to work. Frankie starts to make a comment, but Angie
tells him to go to school. She needs some peace and quiet. Charles
and Frankie leave. Before Angie can take a deep breath, the phone
rings. It is Stacey calling from the Rodeo. She invites Angie to join
her for coffee and corn muffins at the Rodeo. "If I walk into a bar
right now, I'd probably get loaded." Stacey promises to keep her on
coffee. She says Jacob Johnson is there, and she thinks Angie should
 be there too.
* None.  See below.

STORYLINE: DON'T SHOOT THE PIANO PLAYER, HE'S ALREADY DEAD?
 (location: The Rodeo Bar)
* Buck and Jacob are pushing a piano into place. Jacob takes credit for
the suggestion of live music and says his fee is a cup of coffee. Buck
asks if the Bistro doesn't serve coffee. "_Mais non_." Cafe au lait,
yes, but no *coffee*. Buck pours his coffee and mentions that everyone
is asking questions about him. Jacob jokes that he has just bought
Corinth; his lawyers are tying up the loose ends right now. Buck asks,
"Just between you and me, pal, who the hell are you?"
* Jacob asks where he learned to make such a good cup of coffee. Buck
answers that it was the same place Jacob learned to dodge a question.
Jacob says he's just a guy whose car broke down near town. He says he
isn't a conventional-type, which is why he gets asked questions. Buck
says he is sorry he treated him strangely when he first arrived. He
gets some sugar at the counter and sees the poster for a marrow donor
for Angie. He says she sure looks good now, she must have gotten a
donor. Yeah, my daughter. "You have a daughter?" "*Had*." He says
he didn't know about her until recently; she died before they could get
close. He says he "checked-out" for a while, binging on whiskey and
women. Make that *one* woman. "The wrong one?" "You got that right."
Jacob says he only runs his fingers through things which won't bite
them off. "Such as...?" Jacob turns around and plays a slow boogie
woogie on the piano. "You play?" "A little."
Stacey enters. She asks when he got the piano. A half-hour ago, and
he got a great buy. Stacey asks if he got a great buy on the player,
 too? Jacob plays on...
* Jacob is now playing a blues. Stacey says he is making the Rodeo a
second home. Buck says he has been there exactly three times. He asks
if she has anything against him. No, except that he looks like Jesse.
Big deal, is that his fault? Buck says he is a good guy. Stacey asks
 how he is so sure.
Jacob gets up. Stacey compliments him on his playing. "Oh, just
'noodling.'" "Have you ever 'noodled' professionally?" "Well, not
unless you count running delivery for a Chinese take-out joint." Buck
and Jacob laugh. Stacey, stone-faced, says she has to call the office
and let them know she will be late. [She actually calls Angie.]
* Buck and Stacey discuss taking the kids skiing this weekend. She asks
if that includes Christopher. Sure. She says that maybe they should
talk to Dinah Lee about it first. "I can't see that she would have a
problem with it." Stacey asks if DL should come with them. Buck says
she probably needs the time alone. Stacey says she might like to come
along. "Let's keep it *family*, all right?" OK, says Stacey.
Buck points out Jacob, who is once again playing the blues, saying he's
pretty good. Stacey says Angie should hear him and see him. Buck says
they should stay out of it. Stacey says it's too late -- she called
Angie and she is on her way over. She asks if he doesn't think she
has a right to know about him. Buck asks what if a guy who looks just
like Jack showed up. She says she *would* want to know about it before
she just saw this guy in the supermarket and got scared.
Abruptly, Jacob stops playing and stands up. He picks up the poster of
Angie and stares at it. We pan to the window, where Angie is watching
this happen. She decides to give it a go, and goes to the door. At
the door, she turns around and gives it a second thought.
