Subject: LOV: Update for Wednesday March 8, 1995
Status: R

At Kate's, Ally has another cocktail dress on and she has Kate zip her
up. How's she look? Georgeous. That's what she said about the last
three ones, Ally says. Kate tells her to relax. Ally wants everything
to be perfect. Kate says this guy isn't gonna notice what she's
wearing, he's just gonna be gazing into her eyes.

At Jeremy's, Casey is looking at photos and then he realizes what time
it is. He's upset that he's late.

At the police station, Charles leaves a message for Angie to call him
at the station when she gets the message. Then he calls the agency and
leaves a message for Frankie (which surprises him that Frankie isn't
working). Jeremy comes in and Charles barks at him, what's he doing
here? Jeremy wants to know if they got anything on Jacob's
fingerprints.

At the Biastro, Jacob is taking a man's order. He tells the man not to
order the potato, Jacob asks if he likes brocolli, Yes. Try that,
Jacob suggests. How about the green beans? Brocolli, Jacob
replies. Oh, brocolli, okay. Good choice, Jacob says. Frankie comes in
and Jacob asks him if he wants a table. Frankie just stares at Jacob.

So, do you want a table? Frankie finally answers him with a nod. Jacob
gives him a table with a view of the door in case a potential date
comes in. Jacob goes over to get the menu. The cook asks where is
she. Jacob isn't sure. The cook needs some supplies to make the
meals. Jacob tells the guy to look under the sink. I'm not looking for
cleaning supplies, the cook says. Jacob says that Mrs. B and logic
don't go hand in hand. The cook agrees. Jacob says that they will be
good friends. He hands Frankie a menu and Frankie is still staring at
him. I know who you are, Jacob says.

Charles tells Jeremy that they sent the prints off to someone
else. Graham comes in and tells Charles that Alex didn't do the
paperwork. Charles yells that why doesn't he find him a broom and
he'll sweep up, too. Good idea, Pat says, he'll see if he can find one
as he leaves the office. Charles yells at Jeremy for going behind his
back. Jeremy says he didn't - he went to Alex. Why not him? Charles
asks. Jeremy says Frankie asked him not to mention it to Charles, he
was afraid of his reaction. Charles blows up. Pat brings in the fax
from the other place that was looking at the fingerprints.

Ally changed into jeans. Kate approves, as usual. She figured Casey
would show up in jeans and she'd be overdressed in a cocktail
dress. She wants him to be confortable. They talk about life and how
this is the start of their life together again. The doorbell
rings. It's Casey and he's dressed up and he has flowers.

Ally invites Casey in. He hands her the flowers, being careful not to
bend something he's gonna give her at dinner. She tells him he looks
great. She wants to change. He wants to change. She tells him she
likes him like this. She walks behind him and lifts up the jacket.
Just checking out the merchandise, she says. He is *definately*
changing. Kate asks where they are going. The Biastro, Casey says.
Really? Kate says. After what happened? Ally says what are the odds of
getting held up twice in the same week? Besdies, Deborah has specials
for all the people that where at the hold-up. She offers to change
back into the cocktail dress. No, Casey offers to stop and change.
Kate kicks them out and tells them to go on the date.

Jacob thinks Frankie is broke. He offers to make a sandwich. Frankie
shows him the credit cards. Okay, Jacob sits down, what's going on
then?

Pat says they found NOTHING. Not a thing on the guy. They talk about
how strange it is that this guy, who looks like a dead ringer for
Jessie, who says he happens to have a sister that has whatever it was
Angie had, and he breaks down right outside Corinth. Oh....well, then,
Pat offers, why don't you go pick him up for questioning. Charles asks
if he means it. Sure, Pat says. They can question him, get him to
admit to something, and he'll ask the DA for the chair. Pat
leaves. Charles asks Jeremy if Jacob is still at the Biastro. As far
as he knows, Jeremy says. Charles leaves. Jeremy takes the fax and
leaves, too.

Frankie says he hasn't been staring at him. Do I look stupid? Jacob
says. He's been tongue-tied and bug-eyed since he came into the store.
What's up? Does he do this to everyone who comes into the store?
Frankie asks. Don't try turning the tables...Something's up. Jacob
tells him he is the worse liar he has ever met. What is his name.
George. Like Washington? Jacob says. Irving, Frankie lies. The cook
(Neal) comes over and tells Jacob that there are mealy bugs in the
rice and flour. What does he expect him to do? He wants Jacob to go
get new rice and flour. What if it gets busy? Jacob says. In here? The
cook laughs and then offers to wait the tables until Jacob gets
back. He wants to take this gus order first, Jacob says. What does he
want? Well, Frankie says, he heard the Rice Pilaf is good this time of
day. Funny, Jacob says. Frankie orders soemthing and a potato. Try the
brocolli, Jacob suggests. Why? He's a professional chef and you'd
think he could make a potato that doesn't taste like a rock, Jacob
says. I heard that! Neal says. Casey and Ally come in and Neal shows
them to a table and suggests anything without flour or rice. Frankie
leaves. Casey and Ally make small talk. How are things? Ally asks.
Things? Casey asks. His life, the Adicts Anonymous meetings? Ally
asks. Casey tells her that the meeting are helping, and his
photography...he feels inspired again, it's fun again, not so much
like work. This is for you, he says. It's a B&W photo. It's beautiful,
Ally says. He agrees, at the risk of sounding egotistical. He wants
her to keep it and to look at it and remember him and that he's
getting better. Charles comes in and asks about Jacob. Just missed
him, the chef says, after looking at Charles' badge. Meanwhile,
Frankie is walking outside the Biastro and Jacob says "Hubbard!"
Frankie stops ans asks how'd Jacob know his name? Didn't until right
now, Jacob says.
