Subject: LOV: Update for Monday, March 6, 1995
Status: R

Debbie is home sick, so I decided to do Monday's update for her.
Well, Debbie showed up, but I'm gonna be nice and do the update for
her anyway.

Clay is at his desk at AE, writing. He sighs, and swings the chair
around to look out the window. Gwyn comes in and Clay says he visited
Curtis this morning. He's improved. She knows, she visits him almost
every day. Clay says he has to do that. Gwyn wants him to tell her why
she is there.

Cooper and Steffi are in Tess' office waiting for the woman that wants
Steffi as a model (the fax). She comes in speaking French. Steffi
appologizes and says she doesn't speak French. The lady appologizes
and says she flies all over and sometimes forgets what country she is
in. She tells Steffi she is even more beautiful than her pictures.
Steffi says she got the fax, but she hasn't had time to think about
it. Cooper syas they have thought about it and it sounds great. The
lady says that he's amazing. Steffi agrees. The lady says that not
many men would be willing to be Mr. Steffi Brewster.

Frankie is at the gym working out. Someone comes over and tells him
that she hasn't seen him there in awhile. Frankie puffs and tells her
he's been busy. Jeremy comes over and tells Frankie that he saw
Buck. Jeremy tells Frankie not to tell his mother about this guy.

Why not? Frankie asks. Jeremy says that she shouldn't know about
it. Frankie asks if she's in danger. Jeremy says they may be making
too much about this. He saw Jacob, Jeremy says. How long was he gonna
keep this a secret? Frankie asks. Jeremy says he looks just like
Frankie's father. So, why is he here? Frankie asks. Jeremy says that
Jacob said he had a sister who needs a bone marrow transplant. Frankie
doesn't buy it. He wants to meet this guy and get the scoop. on what?
Charles says. Frankie and Jeremy look like they're the cat that
swallowed the canary.

Tess comes into her office and is rude to the lady. The lady explains
who she is and Tess appologizes. Tess offers Steffi's services. The
lady tells Tess that she deals only with the models, not agencies.
Well, Tess says, Steffi is under an exclusive contract. No, I'm not,
Steffi says, she just found out it expired two weeks ago. Tess
mentions loyality, and how Tess made Steffi. The lady and Tess get
into a fight over Steffi. Steffi interrupts the two woman, asking if
she could get a word in, since they're talking about her life.

What does he want to tell her? That he can walk? Yes, Clay
says. Well, Gwyn says, imagine her surprise when she heard the news
from - of all people - Deborah! Clay appologizes and says he did it to
get the family's sympathy. Gwyn tells him to worry about his God - the
one that sent him all those signs about Trisha! Wait, he says, as she
turns to leave. He has something to give her.

She doesn't want anything from him but a little bit of honesty! Why is
that so much to ask of him? Clay stands up and takes a necklace out of
the box. He got this for Trisha, but he never had a chance to give it
to her. It's amastyst, her birthstone. She knows, Gwyn says, near
tears. He forgot that he had bought it for her. What reminded him? He
and Curtis were looking through a scrapbook. Clay realizes that the
past cannot be changed. This, Clay says about the necklace, was
suppose to change things with him and Trisha. He wants Gwyn to wear
the necklace. No, she says. She's that angry? Clay asks. No, she's
that afraid, Gwyn says.

Steffi turns down the offer. How can she turn down the offer? the lady
asks. Tess says that she has brains and loyality. No, Steffi says, she
is *not* doing this for Tess. Cooper asks if Steffi is sure. Tess says
she has made her decision. Cooper says that he was talking to
Steffi. The lady wants a few minutes of Steffi's time to find out why
her time was wasted. Tess escorts the lady out, telling her to go
haunt someone else's office. Cooper asks Steffi again why she turned
down the opportunity of a lifetime? She wonders what he would do in
Paris? She wants to stay here, have him work at AE, and have 10
kids. Ten? Cooper says. At least, Steffi says. Cooper wants to know if
she is doing this for her, or for him?

Frankie lies to Charles and he goes to get his gloves. Frankie tells
Jeremy that he can keep his cool when it comes to Angie's protection,
Charles can't. Frankie wants to know what Jeremy knows about this guy,
or does Frankie have to go to the Biastro and find out himself?

Steffi says she is doing this for both of them. Cooper thinks that she
will resent him for blocking her future. She says she'd resent their
being apart. She tells him that if he's not going to do some work, he
should leave. Cooper gets an idea and tells her that he shall
return. Steffi picks up the magazine the lady gave her and looks at
the famous model and then slams the magazine on the desk.

Jeremy tells Frankie to take it easy. Charles returns and he starts
sparring with Frankie. Charles says Frankie looked upset when he came
in. Frankie says he was mad about the Lakers loosing. Charles says he
knows Frankie doesn't have to tell him anything, but he's hoping
Frankie would trust him enough; it would mean a lot to him. Frankie
remembers a discussion between Jessie and a much younger Frankie (the
one where Frankie is upset about something that some kid told him not
to tell anyone about. Jessie figures out who is behind this and
Frankie is amazed that Jessie knew. he's the dad, he's suppose to know
these things, Jessie says. Jessie tells Frankie he hopes that Frankie
will be able to tell him anything.) Frankie returns to the present.
Frankie tells Charles that there is something...he was at the
university and he saw this man, well, he didn't see his face, but he
looked like...Like he was selling drugs? Charles asks. NO! Frankie
says. Oh, nevermind! Frankie yells, Charles has drugs on the
brain. Frankie is upset, and he leaves.

What is she afraid of? Clay asks. That Trisha is not coming back to
us, Gwyn cries. Clay tells her that he will do the hoping for both of
them, if she will wear this. Okay, Gwyn says. Clay puts it on her and
reminds her that it is a temporary gift, until the rightful owner
reclaims it. Gwyn has to get to work. Clay asks her to wear it
everyday. He kisses her and she leaves. There is a knock on the door,
and Clay turns around, asking if she forgot soemthing. He gets an
uppercut to the jaw as an answer. Cooper comes into the room.
