Well, a state police helicopter crashed in Boston this morning, so the
news ran long (aka I HATE CHANNEL 5 - they started the news cast with
the story, they had no *new* news, but they're running long to tell us
the same story)...and I finbally looked up and noticed it was
12:30. So, WHAM! Take that Channel 5, I'm off to Channel 9...

(I missed a little of the intro) Stacey and Buck are talking. Jesse2
comes over and Buck introduces him to Stacey. He says he's Jake. Buck
invites him to join them, but Jake says he makes it a rule never to
interrupt a man and his woman. Jake goes off to the jukebox to play
something a little less "rural".

Angie and Charles are kissing. She says he can ask her. What? Charles
says. What she knows he's dying to ask her. He says he already asked
her to marry him...She tells him she went to Jesse's grave to talk to
him.

Deborah hands Cabot the tape. Behing Cabot, Clay offers to put the
tape into the machine. Deborah storms into the room, telling him the
gig is up. She finally realizes he is standing. Bingo, Clay says. The
gig *is* up.

Clay says her extortion game is over. Cabot tells her to get a good
lawyer. Why? She asks. Well, attempted murder is a crime! Cabot
says. You TOLD him? she says to Clay. Deborah can't beleive it. Clay
wants to talk to her, alone. Cabot leaves. Clay tells her to get out
of his life. Deborah says the DA isn't gonna go for this, and no jury
would convict her, not after what he put her through! Clay asks if
she's willing to gamble 10 years of her life. She's speechless.

Charles asks if her going to talk to Jesse means she's having second
thoughts about them. No, she says, she can't wait to be his wife. She
just needed closure to the past so she could say goodbye. Did she?
Yes, Angie says. She's ready. Good, he couldn't imagine life without
her, Charles says. They're kissing. Frankie comes in and turns on the
lights. Oh, he says, sorry. He wants to leave and let them return to
what they were doing, and Charles tells him that they were just uhhhh,
talking. Yeah, Charles says, he was just telling Frankie's mother
about how he's looking forward to having her son in the family.

Jake is at the jukebox. He wants "good" music. Where is the Ice T? We
have ice tea, the waitress says behind him. You do? I don't see
it. She says she can get it for him. Does he want sugar and lemon in
it? What? Jake asks. They have a failure to communicate, he adds. He
says he wants to hear motown. At the table, Stacey says he (Jake)
looks familiar, but she's not sure why. Stacey gives Buck a present to
celebrate his owning the Rodeo Bar. Buck likes the present. Prove it,
Stacey says. They kiss. Buck says he thinks Curtis wants to give him
the bar to get absolution. No, Stacey thinks that Curtis wants to try
to make up for everything. Buck wants to rename it to the Buck Houston
Rodeo Bar. He's hoping they could be co-partners? Is this a proposal?
No, this is serious Buck says. He doesn't want to lose her again. They
kiss, as the jukebox plays a country song (This is a Permanant Thing).

Stacey and Buck are still kissing. Tess comes into the bar and orders
a shot of Tequila, hold the worm. Jake comes over and tells him this
stuff bites. She says that's the point. They exchange chit chat. Jake
tells her that she doesn't look like the Grand Olde Opery type. What
type is that, a woman that busts butt all day to save her business,
then ties one on and sees her man playing kissy-face with another
woman? You talking about the Cisco Kid? Jake sasy, pointing to
Buck. And his dog Toto, too Tess hisses. Oh, Jake says, vicious,
too. Tess buys Jake a drink. Meanwhile, Stacey is reading Buck's
palm. She sees a beautiful dark-haired lady in his life. On a cruise
without the kids...wait, there are the kids...but she sees the
dark-haired lady calling the sitter to say she'd be late....and then
he and the dark-haired...OOOOOOOOOOhhhhh, Stacey says, she can't let
him in on that. Where is she going? Buck says. To call the sitter, she
purrs. Meanwhile, Jake tells Tess that she needs to handle the Cisco
Kid differently.

Deborah can't believe Clay closed her account. He made all the
payments into it, he feels that it was his right, Clay says.

Charles and Angie and Frankie are playing Trivial Persuit. Seems
Carter weas the first US president born in a hospital. Frankie asks if
they wouldn't rather go back to what they were doing before. No, Angie
says. But, she wants to talk to him about what they were doing.
Frankie seems uncomfortable. Angie says they were talking about her
trip to talk to Jesse. Frankie wants to know why she didn't take
him. She had to talk to him, and settle things. He understands, and is
cool with Charles, as long as he keeps the drug lectures to one a
week. Charles agrees, and suggests he might even give Frankie's music
one more try.

Jake asks Buck if he knows of anyone that has a job opening. Buck says
he's overstaffed now. (Achy Breaky is playing). Jake asks about the
sister. Buck says that she is getting married. To that ugly dude? Buck
says he has a badge. Jake doesn't look impressed.

Deborah wants her money. Clay puts her into the wheelchair and pushes
her to the door. He is new and improved, now that he has found his
daughter. He tells her not to tell anyone he can walk, he wants that
thrill himslef. Deborah says that he may be able to walk, but he won't
be dancing at the wedding. What? Oh, you don't know? Deborah
coos. Steffi and Cooper are getting married! Clay is not happy.

Tess tells Buck that she is sorry that she didn't tell him about
Curtis. Buck says drop it! Tess says some guys would be thrilled at
what she did. Buck says she will drive some guy crazy, but it won't be
him. Well, she says, at least she got him to smile. Well, Buck says,
he's in a good mood. She is looking at the new owner of the bar. Oh,
Buck, she gushes, and kisses him, just as Stacey coems out of the
ladies' room. Stacey, of course, does not look happy.
