Subject: LOV: OJ-free Update for Monday, January 30, 1995
Status: R

Well, it's Monday, OJ is still on trial, and it's a toss-up as to
whether we are going to see all of LOVING, any of LOVING, or some of
LOVING...so let's see what Judge Ito and Peter Jennings have in store
for us.

Charles and Angie enter the agency and see Frankie talking to Helen,
the drug dealer. Charels grabs Frankie and shoves him into an
office. So, Charles yells, are you using or dealing, or a little of
both? Frankie is pissed.

Ally asks Kate if she was serious about her and Tyler having a home
here. Oh course always, Kate says...you've left Casey?

Meanwhile, Casey is staring out the front door of the house. Sad. The
camera zooms in on his face, he is very very sad.

The exhaminer says the body in Trisha's grave is not Trisha. How could
you make that mistake? Trucker asks. He wasn't on the case, he's not
sure, the exhaminer says. How? Trucker repeats. Dinah Lee says it
doesn't matter, you know what this means; Trisha is alive.

Frankie is upset. Voices are raised (okay, they're screaming at each
other!) Charles says Helen is a dealer, she works for Danny. Charles
says he should have known Frankie would do this, after the pot
party. Charles adds that he thought the talk they had had settled
things. Frankie screams that he doesn't smoke dope. Charles asks if he
has progressed to coke or something harder? Angie comes in and asks
what the hell is going on?

The coroner leaves. Trucker is dazed and says that Trisha died in a
car crash. Dianh Lee says that she felt it even before the exhaminer
told them. Doesn't he feel her? Dinah Lee knows that Trucker loves
Trisha and he should "feel" her. Trucker says that he didn't feel her
presence, she's dead. He loves Dinah Lee. Trucker thinks she is
remembering Curtis's old pranks. No, she says, she feels Trisha is
alive. She knows that until he knows, this will never be over for
him. She thinks they should call Clay and Gwyn.

Kate gets Tyler to sleep. Ally doesn't want to talk about her and
Casey right now. What's for dinner? she asks to change the subject.
Broccolli, mashed potatoes, and meatloaf...and gravy? Ally asks. She
suggests that Kate should bottle it like Paul Newman. Kate says she'll
send him the recipe and he can bottle it. Kate says you just don't
walk out on a marriage. Casey has a drug problem, Ally says, she can't
stay there. Ally hasn't had meatloaf in so long...Kate says Casey
doesn't like meatloaf (updater's note: I can relate, I haven't had
meatloaf in over 7 years...husband hates it). Kate gets up to mash the
potatoes. Ally wants to help. Kate wants to pamper her. Ally relents
and Kate leaves for the kitchen. Ally sees a picture of her and
Casey's wedding and remembers him telling her he loves her and always
will. (They play "When I fall in Love...it will be forever..." over
the pictures) They kiss and it changes to the wedding, then moving
into the house, and other scenes: around a bed, and them kissing, and
them in bed, cuddling, Christmas, kissing, making out in front of the
fire, hugging outside when it starts snowing, back to present with
Casey looking at a picture of his and Ally's wedding.

Charles says she doesn't know what's going on. Angie screams that she
knows he was about to manhandle her son. That woman Frankie was
talking to is a drug dealer, Charles offers. He knew that, Frankie
yells. Figures, Charles says. Angie assk Frankie what was going
on. Frankie says right before they busted in, he was going to tell her
to get lost. See, Angie says. And you believe that? Charles snaps.
Charles asks if Frankie is a user or a dealer. Frankie strips off his
shirt, and throws it at Charles, telling him to check the seams.
Maybe, Frankie screams, he has the coke on his person...want a strip
search? He starts to unbuckle his pants. Angie stops him. Angie yells
at Charles. He says but the dealer said it was nice to see him
again. Frankie puts his shirt back on, yelling that he saw her at
Tess's wrap party. Angie yells at Charles again. He appologies.
Frankie says too little, too late, and storms out of the door.

Clay and Gwyn show up at Trucker's. He tells them that he loves Dinah
Lee and he wanted to put the past to rest. Clay says you're thinking
of exhuming the body again? Clay says he won't let him, doesn't
Trucker remember what Gwyn went through the last time? Trucker said he
doesn't want to hurt anyone, but he did it already. And is he
satisfied now that he has disturbed his daughter's grave? Clay yells.
It's not Trisah, Trucker wispers. They're not sure who, but the body
in Trisah's grave is *not* Trisha.

Charles, a little more calm, says she probably won't accept his
appology, either. He makes it hard, Angie admits. This drug
thing...Charles says. It makes him into someone she doesn't know. Her
(meaning Charles' girlfriend whose name I can't spell) death...Angie
says he can't lay it all on that one incident. Just when things were
going so well between him and Frankie. Well, he has tough competition,
Charles says. How can he live up to Jessie's memory? Angie says that
Frankie remembers Jessie as the guy that fed him ice cream and did
things Mom said not to do. She wants Charles to stop living with
ghosts (Jessie's and his dead girlfriend's). Angie urges him to be the
considerate man she fell in love with. He needs to talk to Frankie,
Charles says. She wants him to *talk* to Frankie, not attack him.

Ally warns Kate that she might find mached potatoes all over the
house. Kate says she had 8 kids, she's used to the strange places
mashed potatoes can be. Ally finds Casey's keys. She must have picked
them up instead of hers. Cut to Casey, looking for his keys. He tears
the room apart, throwing things around. He falls to the floor, crying.

Gwyn asks if they are certain. Yes, they checked the dental records,
Trucker says. Do they know who was in the car? Clay asks. Trucker says
Trisha was on the way to the cabin. Buck was staying with them at the
time and she thought they needed some time alone. She was gonna bring
Chris over to Gwyn. Gwyn says she never did, the Au Pair did. they
were paying patty cake...patty cake...mommy will be home as fast as
she can. Gwyn is near tears. Clay says he will get on the exhaminer's
case to get answers. Gwyn and Clay leave. She says she is happy and
sad. Clay wants answers. Gwyn says they may never get them. Inside,
Trucker goes to Dinah Lee and asks her to hold on to him. They
hug. Tighter, he says. She doesn't look happy.
