Well, it's another day in Corinth and I can't think of anything
interesting to say first, so let's just get to it:

Clay is pouring a cup of coffee. As he goes to get soem sugar, he
spills the cup on his legs and it hurts. Angie comes in with
Isabelle. He hides that his legs hurt. Angie notices that he spilled
the coffee. Angie is afraid that, since he can't felel anything in his
legs, he might have burned himself. Clay says it wasn't that
hot. Angie says it *is* hot. Clay says he is fine. Angie says this must
be hard. Clay says it *is* hard, but he has come to accept the fact
that he may never walk again.

Gwyn is back from Dunellen, at Jeremy's place. Jeremy asks how Curtis
is. Gwyn is optomistic, Jeremy says he wishes he felt that good.

At the agency, Tess tells Stacey that Gwyn is not coming in today
because of JillBear's hearing. Tess hopes that Stacey won't mind
working with her today. Stacey is all right with that. Tess tells her
that, if she doesn't mind, she'll have Stacey work on one of Tess'
projects today. Tess tells someone to show Stacey the project. They
leave. Stacey sees Steffi coming out of the bathroom. Stacey asks if
she is okay, she doesn't look good. Steffi lies and says she's
tired. Buck comes into the agency. Tess tells him that Stacey is
busy. Buck says this is between *them*.

Buck puts Tess on official notice. For what? Tess asks. Keep her
distance from Stacey. That may be difficult, since she works here. He
yells at her for lying about the accident. She was hoping that they
could forget about that and get on with their lives. She says she was
sure that if she told him, she'd lose him and he'd get on with his
life. Buck says you can't lose what you never had. Tess looks devastated.

Angie tells Clay that he needs to continue his physical therapy.
Isabelle is surprised that he's not still seeing the doctor. Clay lays
it on by saying that all the help he needs is his family. Isabelle is
happy that she and Cabot have been able to help him, but she thinks
that he should continue to see the therapist. Isabelle and Angie leave
to talk about some project they are involved with. Clay is working,
and someone comes in. Forget something? Oh, come on, Clay, you know I
never forget *anything*, Deborah says.

Deborah throws the keys and tells Clay to get up and get them. He says
he'll just call a locksmith. Deborah wonders what Mommy will think
about her son being a liar. Which lie is that? Well, she admits, he
does tell so many that it's hard to keep them apart. She's talking
about his lying about Curtis running him over, her alledged affair
with Curtis. He hurt so many people, one of them was her
daughter. They banter about, and Clay grabs the pocketbook. He notices
the camera, and Deborah gets up to leave. Clay tosses the camera,
mentions a blackmail attempt, and tells Deborah to come back, she
forgot her pocketbook. Deborah leaves. Clay rolls over to the desk,
with the tape from the video machine.

Jeremy says he got off too easy. His life is so good, his brother's
was so bad. Gwyn tries to tell him that it's not his fault. She
remarks that sometimes captives have symphanthy for their captors.

Steffi talks to another girl in the office, who notices a red spot on
Steffi's shirt, and assumes it's from a red marker. She leaves to get
something for the red ink. Steffi touches it and notices it's blood.
She says Oh no, and she's back in the woman's room.

Tess asks if that's how he always breaks it off with a girl. Buck says
he never lead her to beleive they had a future. He tells her that it
is her responsibility to look after Stacey, They both know she is not
working here because of her ability. Is that what you really think?
Stacey asks.

Buck tells her not to take what he said the wrong way. How is she
suppose to take it? Buck stammers and Tess tries to tell her, but
Stacey tells him that she is working here and that they'll talk about
it later. He asks if they're still on for dinner. Yes, she says. Good,
he'll pick her up later. Buck leaves. Stacey tells Tess that she did
some rought drafts. Tess is crying. Stacey asks her what Buck said.
Nothing that hasn't been said before. Stacey says she didn't know that
her feeling for Buck were so deep. They're not, she says, but he was
there after Curtis. But, he loves Steffi, and even if they can't be
togther, he loves her. Tess cries, looks at Stacey's work, and says
this isn't bad. Stacey takes it to work on it some more. Tess
sniffles, and gets up and congratulates herself, saying she deserves
an Oscar - she didn't even smear her mascara. Steffi comes in, dapping
at the blood and asks for time off. She lies and says she got red ink
on her blouse. Tess asks how Stacey is working out. No problems,
Steffi says. She leaves. No problems, Tess sing songs.

Jeremy tells Gwyn that his brother fell from the tree, then from his
memory. He begged for help, again, and he wasn't there for him, again.
Jeremy says JillBear even saved *his* life at the warehouse, but
Jeremy didn't try to save JillBear. He was thinking about himself, me,
me, ME ME ME! Gwyn recoils and says he's beginning to sound like...Go
ahead, Jeremy says, say it; I sound like my brother!

Isabelle congratulates Angie on her upcoming wedding. Angie mentions
the mishap with the dress. They chat about Clay, and how to help him
get over this.

Deborah, back in her room, says she hates that man. She'll get him. He
broke her camera. What to do? What to do? She looks at the video tape
she made, where Clay struggles to get out of the chair. He grunts,
groans, and says he is gonna get out of the chair and grind her to
dust. She rewinds the tape. The camera zooms into him moving his
legs. She knew it! He can move his legs.
