Tuesday, on "the city":

Richard asks to make sure Brendan (on the phone) is okay with this.
He thinks Zoey will be fine on the show. He'll talk to him before
he leaves. Richard hangs up and Zoey comes in. Richard tells Zoey
that Brendan will host HotLine, he means the Zoey show with her,
while Richard's on a leave of absence. Richard thinks the ratings
will go through the roof. She doesn't care where the ratings go!

In the bar, Tracy tells Gino that she hopes that he understands why
she didn't invite him up for a nightcap. She's had him up before,
he says. Her feelings were more platonic then. She thinks she'll
move, Tracy says. To Ohio. Gino says that he doesn't want her to
move. She smiles.

Tony drinks the martini Tony gives her, which is 5 parts gin.
Carla says she knows Tony is missing Ally's birthday party. Tony
sighs that's okay. She offers to change clothes. She feels frumpy
in his old shirt. He tells her she looks fine. She goes upstairs,
where she watches Tony toast Ally's birthday. She pours her drink
into the plant.

Why is Zoey so down on HotLine? Richard asks. She's not, Zoey says.
When is he coming back? She asks. He doesn't know. He wants to
spend as much time as possible there, since he doesn't know when
he'll get back again. When is he leaving? Next week. What about
Thanksgiving? That's this week, Richard says. They'll have
Thanksgiving dinner with Nick and Loraine. So, she prompts, he'll
be back for Christmas? He doesn't know. He will return, though,
he says. Zoey says she's heard this before. She's afraid that
while she's trashing the HotLine ratings, he's with the sheep,
making love to a shepardess. He promises to stay away from the
sheep. He offers to prove that he'll be back. While he's gone,
why doesn't she move in here?

Carly gives Tony another martini. She offers to make dinner.
Their first and last married dinner. No, Tony says, they had
the banana and peanut butter sandwiches. She can cook something
besides that, Carly says. As she gets up to cook, she refills
his martini, since it's mostly water now (she says). These are
good, he says.

Tracy tells Gino that it's sweet that he cares, but she needs
to get away from her father. They talk a little and Tracy brings
up his offer to handle the taxes on the building. Does he have
a specific plan? No, but he'll work on it. Well, she says, they
have a time constraint. Her father works fast when he knows what
he wants. She's afraid that her father will take custody of her
son. Gino says he won't let him. Tracy says that Gino is powerful,
but so is her father. Gino can't be by her side all the time
protecting her. He will if she wants him to. She smiles, but
declines. Gino has another appointment, he says. They say so long
(not goodbye), and Gino kisses her on the hand. Jacob comes over
and asks Tracy if she's out of her mind? Not totally, Tracy says.
Jacob tells her that she must be crazy to think that Gino is the
solution to her problems.

Richard tells Zoey that he knows she has been abandoned before,
but he will come back. He promises. She declines to move in. Ally
has offered her a place in her apartment, and she'd be close to
Nick, and she could help Loraine. They talk and talk and start kissing.

Jacob tells Tracy that while Gino was kissing her hand, he
was sizing her feet for shoes. Cement shoes. She claims that he
is harmless. Jacob tells her about the bomb. That was Gino?
Tracy asks. No, his daughter, Jacob says. She wasn't having a
drink with the daughter, Tracy says. But , Jacob says, she got
her education somewhere. Harvard, Tracy says. That was her
graduate degree, her major education was at the hand of her father.

Carla and Tony are eating. Tony is tired. It's too early to go to
bed, she says. He's not up for much else. She talks him into
dancing. He's not much of a dancer, Tony says. Just put his arms
around her, Carla says, and she'll take it from there. Tony is
almost out of it. He starts dancing. Carla looks up and kisses him.

They're kissing. Tony pulls away. He's had too many martinis. She
says they both had. Is she forgiven? He won't say anything if she
doesn't. Carla conviences Tony to sleep in his own bed. She'll
sleep in Danny's bed, and if Danny comes home tonight, which she
doesn't expect him to, Danny can sleep on the couch as his going
away present to her. She leads him to his bed.

Zoey, tells Richard, in bed, that she'll miss him. He doesn't want
to lose her, he just needs to find himself. Goodnight, she says,
and she rolls over. Goodnight, he says, as he watches her.

Is the lecture over? Tracy asks. Gino has done a lot of harm,
Jacob says. Gino is going to want something in return, Jacob warns.
Wanting, Tracy says as she leaves, is not getting. Good*bye*,
she says.

Gino is on the phone with someone. He wants everything on Tracy
Quartermaine. He said everything, Gino says, he means *everything*!

Carla has Tony undressed on his bed. He's out cold. Well, she
says, on to Plan B. She takes her shirt off and is in a black bra.
