Tuesday on "the city":

Tess is in her apartment when Buck comes to visit. She
looks beautiful. Thanks, she says. He knows she wanted
to be alone, but that was last night, and he hasn't seen
her at all today. What's up, he asks. Tess is looking
for a job. Buck tells her that she has a job - as an up
and coming singer. Just because she didn't get the first
job she auditioned for, that's no reason to give up on
being a singer. Tess tells Buck that she got the job - s
he just didn't want it.

Jocelyn, in Danny, Tony, and Carla's apartment won't tell
Ally and Danny what she heard until Tony and Carla get
home. Danny says must be real bad news then. Jocelyn tells
him not to play her, it won't work. Are they sure they
don't know where Tony and Carla are? Jocelyn asks. Tony
and Carla come in, saying we're right here. Jocelyn tells
them the Feds are dropping the case.

Daryl (the collection agent) threatens to tell the scandal
magazines that the disinherited lady is broke. Jacob comes
over and tells hinm to lay off. Daryl says he'll tell them
all about Tracy and her dreadlocked lover. He goes for the
phone. Tracy pushes him and he hits his head and falls down
in slow motion.

Tess tells Buck that Marty was interested in her as a singer
from the waist up.

Tracy wonders if he's dead. Jacob says not dead, just out
cold. Tracy tries to leave, she wants to take Dillon and get
as far ahead of Daryl as she can. Jacob stalls her and Daryl
wakes up, saying she tried to kill him. Tracy says, see!

Jocelyn says that she convienced the Feds that they were
infrindging on Tony and Carla's rights with the survalence
and cameras, especially after the wedding. Jocelyn said
they dropped the case. She thinks that the Feds are going a
fter Gino's boss now. So, Carla says, her father is in the
clear, too? Jocelyn thinks so. She thinks the Feds were
actually hoping for a reason to drop the case. Ally asks
if this means that Tony and Carla's marriage is over, too?
Danny and Carla look worried.

Buck says this so called producer saw only one thing? Tess
says, well, two, actually. So, he was interested, Buck says,
but he didn't come on to her? Tess says that the part she
was trying out for was a topless review. Buck wants to kill
the slimeball. Tess says he was honest. He said the best
thing going for her is her body, specifically her chest.
That's not true, Buck says, she has so much more. Look at
her! Tess says. She has a fine body, Buck offers, but she
has talent and more. Buck tells her to ask anyone who knows
her. They can look inside and see the real her. Tess says
she lives in the outside world, where what you look like
is what you are.

Jocelyn says no case, no marriage. Tony says YEAH! Soon,
he'll be a free man. Ally says not so fast. Oh, yeah, Tony
says. He kisses Ally. He says he won't mind it this time.
Carla says not so fast. It's not like they say "Wham, bam,
we're divorced". Right? Jocelyn says that they can probably
get an annulment, since it was a civil ceremony and it was
never consumated. Better not have been, Ally says, sitting
on Tony's lap in a chair. That's the *last* thing he would
ever do, Tony says. Carla looks hurt. Tony, standing now,
says no more wigs, no more hiding, no more long elevator
rides. He takes Ally over and opens a window and shouts
that Tony Solieto loves Allison Bowman.

Daryl threatens to call the cops and have her arrested for
assult. Tracy calms down and tells him that they have to
remember that she has a 6 year old son. He wouldn't hurt
an innocent child, would he, she pleads. Daryl thinks that
he would be doing the kid a favor by getting her off the
street. Jacob tells him if he calls the cops, he might miss
the banks. Jacob hands over the $15,000 check.

Jacob signs over the check. Daryl gives him a receipt. Jacob
wants the change. Daryl says that once the check clears,
he'll write a check. Jacob says the check is more legit than
he'll ever be. If it clears, Daryl says, he'll get his money
in 14 days...minus the medical bill for his head. Jacob
starts to complain, then realizes he'll probably never see
any of the left over money. Jacob says he'll buy a loft in
the buildign with his change. Good choice, Daryl says. Daryl
leaves. Why did you do that? Tracy asks Jacob. For Dillon,
Jacob says. No matter how wacked his mother is, he still
deserves one. Jacob wants the truth. Tracy tells him she has
a cash flow problem. Her money is tied up in the family.
Jacob says that once the cash starts flowing, he wants his
money back, with interest. He wants her to start the foundation
she was telling him about. Done, she says with a sigh. And,
he wants her to pay the back taxes on this place. That's
over a million dollars for a $15,000 loan. Jacob says he can
stop payment on the check and then her boyfriend can have
fun with her again. Think of it as a good deed. And, he
wants her to make a big donation to Angie's clinic, in his
son's name. She tells him that part of her wanted to take the
money and run. She thanks Jacob. He leaves. She says who would
have thought there was a God, and he looks like Bob Marley.

Tony is still yelling out the window that he loves Ally.
Someone yells back that they heard him. Tony asks Jocelyn if
they're over the top. Yes, a little she says. Tony says he
doesn't care, what are they goign to do - arrest him? Carla
says maybe for disturbing the peace. Tony and Ally go to the
window and Tony yells the Tony Solieto loves Allison Bowman
again. The other voice says they all know that. Tony yells
at him to go to sleep! Tony is going out to cellebrate.
Tony invites Danny and Carla, for old time sakes. Danny
declines, Carla says she has to call Daddy with the "good"
news.

Tess says she is the most accepting person she knows -
black, white, straight, gay, it doesn't matter to her. So,
why can't she accept herself? Buck tries to tell her that
she is a wonderful person. Tony and Ally come in and invite
Tess and Buck to the bar. They're kinda busy right now,
Buck says, what's up? Buck asks. Ally says they have to
come downstairs to find out. Don't be late, she says as
she and Tony run out the door. Buck gets Tess to smile,
and suggests they go find out why those two are so happy,
then they can go out somewhere. They leave to go to the bar.

Carla tells Danny that Daddy already knew - seems him
lawyers told him they had dropped the charges against her.
Danny says well, that's that. Tony and Ally will get together
now. Not necessarily, Carla says.
