I had hoped to start this update with a description of the fabulous new
opening, but TPTB dashed my hopes to the ground.

Ally and Danny are still play fighting over her camera. They stop when they
see Tony and Carla - Carla is pleased, Tony is not. Danny takes the blame
for the playing around. Tony gets very serious and tells them that they all
have to agree to one thing, since the four of them will be spending so much
time together. He grins (sigh!) and asks Ally to take a group picture of
them
(maybe they can send it to TPTB to use in a new opening). Ally tells them
about the photos they shot that day. Carla notes how lucky they are not to
have a 9 to 5 desk job. Danny starts to leave to find something to do, but
Tony
wants them to do something together. He suggests bowling, Carla nixes the
idea. They decide to go to the Chelsea Piers. Carla goes to get her coat,
followed by Danny. Ally thanks Tony for not being an idiot about her
working
with Danny - he tells her he trusts her as much as he loves her. Carla
tells
Danny that it+s nice of him to help Ally and Tony. She tells him she+s
accepted the situation they+re in. Danny tells her that she+s not the type
to
accept things and wonders what+s in it for her. While Tony and Ally talk
about it always being only the two of them, Danny and Carla talk a bit about
Tony ending up with Carla and poor Ally being alone.

The producer asks Tess to take off her blouse (after all it+s the 90+s).
 When
she tells him off, he explains he+s married and not personally interested.
But the paying customers will be - he+s bringing a Vegas topless show to
New York. Tess points out that NYC is not lacking in those kind of places.
She also realizes that his interest was in her op and not her singing. He
tells
her she is a not bad singer. Tess walks out, ignoring his reassurances that
she has a good voice like a thousand other girls, but her real asset is her
great
body. As Tess goes out, a Tess somewhat lookalike is a short revealing
address
comes in for her appointment with the guy. Tess looks after them in
disbelief.
A bummed out Tess arrives home to a smiling Buck with flowers and candles.
He asks her what+s wrong and she tells him that she didn+t get the part. He
pours some Dom Perignon (which we+re told costs $100 a bottle, in case we
didn+t know that it was the good stuff). Tess just wants to be by herself
and
go to bed. Buck tries to reassure her and tells her if she needs him, call.
 They
tell each other "I love you" and he leaves. She goes into her bedroom and
stares at herself in the full length mirror. She has an audio flashback of
the
producer saying "There+s nothing to be ashamed of, it+s who you are." She
turns off the light and cries.

In the bar, Gino tells Tracy that since she+s interested in another man,
he+ll
gracefully bow out. She tells him he+s just a friend. Gino doesn+t buy it,
so Tracy tells him that the friend is dying and she was overly demonstrative
because she never knows if she+ll see him again. And besides, he+s gay.
Gino is happy that he still has a chance with her. She tells him that she
likes him very much and that+s a possibility that they could become closer.

She tells him it+s been a long time since she dated and she no longer knows
the rules. He tells her it+s the same with him and asks if he can court
her.
She acts touched by this gesture. She then tells him she has to run to a
charity board meeting. He kisses her hand and she tells him that if men had
any idea how romantic a kiss on the hand was to a woman, they never kiss
them anywhere else. She leaves and Gino looks very pleased. Back at the
penthouse, Tracy is spraying her mouth with mouth spray - trying to get
the taste of Gino out. Beth wonders why Tracy see him if she+s so repulsed
by him. Thankfully, Tracy tells her hat they+ve been over this before and
does a quick recap of the plot. The doorbell rings, they exchange looks and
Tracy starts spraying again. Tracy answers the door - it+s movers there to
get the armoire. As they leave, another man delivers an arrangement of
pink roses. Tracy says Mr. Soleito is right on target.
