Hi everyone,

Well, we all knew Sydney's generosity was too good to be true. Today, Jocelyn learns
what the catch is. Lorraine fights her battle with the bottle, while Zoey and
Richard fight to keep Nick alive. Here we go...

GIRL TALK
Location: Jocelyn's and Ally's apartment

*Jocelyn is on the phone trying to get information about 212 Greene Street. Are
there any liens or tax liabilities? They will give Jocelyn a call back later with the
information. While Joc was on the phone, Ally came home. Ally's surprised Joc and
Alex came up for air, they were about to send a search party, she jokes. Joc has a
couple of things she needs to talk to Ally about. About their new share in the
building, Ally asks. It's unbelievable that Sydney gave it to them. Joc agrees it
was definitely out of character. Joc would be more excited if Syd hadn't given 51%
to "this Tracy Quartermaine person". Ally tells Joc she met Tracy last night at
Tony's apartment. Joc says that Alex KNEW Tracy, it was before he even met Ava. The
impression that Ally got of Tracy was that she is "formidable". "The word Alex used
was trouble", Joc warns her.

*Ally doesn't want to think about trouble right now. She's very excited because Tony
thinks that he'll be able to get out of his marriage to Carla within a year. And go
right to jail, Joc says. No, even if they put him on the stand, the tapes are gone,
and how could he be expected to remember exactly what was said so long ago. Jocelyn
is very skeptical, but there's a possibility it could work. It still means that Ally
has to wait a year to be with Tony. Before, she was looking at never being with Tony
again, a year doesn't look so bad in comparison. Things are starting to look better,
she has hope for the first time since Tony married Carla and now they have their
shares in the building. Good luck would definitely be "a change of pace" for all of
them, Joc says. Tony and Ally are even thinking of bringing Tyler over to live with
Ally part of the year. Will Joc be able to cope with an energetic child? Well, Joc
really won't have to worry about it because Alex bought a new apartment and he wants
Joc to move in with him.

*Joc didn't know that Alex had planned this, he never talked to her about it. And it
won't happen right away, Alex still has to talk to Ava and the kids, and... Ally
tells her to stop with the guilt trip. Ally is very happy for Alex and Joc and she
knows that this is what Joc wants. Joc assures her that she'll keep paying the rent.
Ally tells her that she doesn't need Joc's money. She's a big real estate mogul, Ally
says, picking up the box her 7% share came in. Ally's going to miss Joc. Joc feels
guilty that she's leaving Ally alone when she has to live across the hall from Tony
and Carla. Ally really is happy for Alex and Joc, and this gives her even more hope
for her and Tony. How, Joc asks. A few months ago, Joc's whole life was falling
apart and now everything is working out. Ally knows that that's going to happen for
her and Tony, too. Joc promises to keep looking for a way to get Tony out of this
mess. The phone rings. Jocelyn goes to answer it and Ally goes upstairs to get
changed for Nick's party. It's the information on 212 Greene Street, there's a
problem. What sort of problem, Joc asks.

*Joc asks the person on the phone if they're sure it's 212 Greene Street. I knew
this was too good to be true, Joc says. She hangs up the phone and rushes out the
door. (see below)

*Ally's on the phone talking to Tyler. She's going to talk to Cooper about having
Tyler come over for a long visit very soon. Tyler apparently asks if Ally has room
for him. She tells him of course she has room, his mommy owns part of a building.

TRACY'S BEEN HAD
Location: Tracy's hotel room

*Tracy's on the phone with Mr. Stevens, a real-estate broker(I assume). She wants to
sell 212 Greene Street right away and she wants to know how much cash she can get for
it. She was thinking 8 figures, she'll get back to them. Next she calls Mr. Pierce
trying to get a home equity loan, but she is interrupted by a knock on the door. It's
Alex.

*"This isn't a bad time, is it?" Alex asks. Tracy invites him in. Those were the
same word that Alex said to her the very first time the met, when he was
investigating her as a possible corporate spy. Tracy let him believe that she was
the spy. And how do you know I wasn't the spy, Tracy asks, the case was never
solved. Was she the spy? Tracy will never tell. Alex needs to talk to her. For an
"old flame" like Alex, she can spare an hour, "in your case, probably two hours".
Alex wouldn't consider himself a flame, they only knew each other very briefly. Tracy
believes in "quality above quantity", she replies. He knows Tracy well enough to
know she's an operator. Tracy complains that that sounds very unfeminine. She would
prefer "brilliant, fascinating, impossibly attractive". "That's a given", agrees
Alex, but he didn't come to rekindle their old relationship. He came to find out if
Tracy plans to screw his friends that live at 212 Greene Street.

*Tracy "has no intention of, to use your colorful expression, screwing your friends.
At least not in that sense of the word." Alex warns her not to try anything, he's
"dead serious about this". "I can see that you are, it makes you look ten years
older", Tracy tells him. Alex laughs. "That's better", says Tracy. Tracy pours him a
glass of champagne and asks about Jocelyn. The last Tracy heard, Alex was married to
"that little brunette thing". Her name was Ava, and things just didn't work out.
Tracy tells him she's sorry and then offers a toast to Jocelyn Brown. Does Jocelyn
make Alex happy, she asks. Very happy, and they're moving in together soon. Tracy
tells him not to worry, she'll keep her distance. Alex wasn't worried. He could be
gentleman enough to be worried just a little bit. Alex smiles and tells her she's the
same old Tracy. "You could be gentleman enough to omit the 'old'. Alex substitutes,
the same vibrant, vivacious, dazzling Tracy. Much better, Tracy hopes he'll be
happy. And Alex hopes his friends will be happy. Doesn't Alex trust her? "Not in a
New York minute". Tracy promises on her family's good name that all she wants to do
is sell her shares and get out of Manhattan.

*Tracy's telling Alex that the field is all clear for Joc, but if Tracy was staying
in town... There's a knock a the door. It's Jocelyn, who is very surprised to see
Alex in Tracy's room. Tracy tells her that Alex stopped by to see if she has any
evil designs on him, or the building. "As far as the building is concerned, Ms.
Quartermaine, your designs are pretty much beside the point" Joc tells Tracy. Joc
isn't trying to persuade Tracy not to sell the building, is she? "The building can't
be sold, Ms. Quartermaine. Sydney's little gift came with a big hefty price tag of
1.2 million dollars. We've all been had, Ms. Quartermaine, you most of all".

HOPE FOR NICK???
Location: The City Bar

*Nick's sitting at the bar chatting with the bartender. Zoey and Richard come in the
front door. Richard brought the pictures of his family and hands them to Nick. Nick
thought they were going to come back last night. Zoey unconvincingly lies that they
had a very hard time finding the pictures and Nick assures them that he didn't wait
up for them. Nick can look at the pictures after the party. Nick tells them that
it's not really a party, he's just buying a few drinks for some friends. They're
having the 'party' in the bar instead of upstairs because Lorraine hasn't been
feeling well lately. Richard and Zoey have some good news. They've been
investigating and they've found a doctor in Mexico who may be able to help Nick.
Lorraine overhears this and doesn't look very happy.

*Nick tells them he's a lost cause, but Zoey asks him to listen. This doctor is
doing experimental work with hepatitis(a disease that affects the liver) and has had
promising results. Nick appreciates what they're doing, but wishes they would stop.
Nick doesn't have to get on a plane, all they need is permission to send Nick's
medical records to the doctor. "Well you don't have my permission", Lorraine tells
them, joining them at the bar. Richard says that it's up to Nick, not her. Lorraine
says that Nick's right, he doesn't need anymore false hope. What they all have to do
now is accept what is going to happen and Lorraine wishes that Richard and Zoey would
just face the facts.

*He and Zoey are just trying to help Nick, why is Lorraine getting so upset? Lorraine
apologizes. Nick tells Zoey and Richard to order whatever they want, he needs to
talk to Lorraine alone. He leads Lorraine over to a table. Zoey says maybe Lorraine
is right about giving Nick false hope. Richard doesn't care what Lorraine says, he's
going to do whatever he can to save Nick. Lorraine's talking the way she is because
if Nick dies, Lorraine will be all alone. He and Zoey will have each other to lean
on, but Lorraine will have no one. Lorraine apologizes to Nick for what she said to
Richard and Zoey. Nick says he's sure they're fine, it's Lorraine he's worried
about. Lorraine is just tired, she didn't sleep well last night. Nick never heard
her come to bed. Lorraine says she'll be fine, she'll be strong for him. Nick
thinks maybe she should go for a walk, or maybe go to an AA meeting, she hasn't been
to one in a while. Lorraine doesn't need a walk or a meeting. As long as she and
Nick are together, she has everything she wants.

*Lorraine is clearing glasses from the tables. Richard walks over to talk to her, he
thought Nick said she wasn't working tonight. Lorraine apologizes for before, but
she's fine now. Richard knows what she's going through, and if the worst happens, he
wants Lorraine to know that he and Zoey will be there for her. Lorraine thanks him.
He's a sweet man, like his dad. Zoey goes over to sit a table with Nick. Nick tells
her that he got his first royalty check for the CD, "Dad's finally flush". The best
thing is that Zoey and Richard will get to see some of those checks. Zoey tells him
to shut up. He's just being realistic he says. Well don't be, besides she's not
really his daughter. Zoey's still his kid, even if she's not his flesh and blood
daughter. Richard comes over, Nick leaves to go take care of something and Richard
sits down. It's hard to keep up a front. He and Zoey are doing it, but Richard's not
sure how much longer Lorraine can. Lorraine is at the bar with a couple of shots on
a tray she's supposed to deliver to a table. Instead, she picks one up and downs it,
while Nick looks on from the background.

That's it for today. See you next Thursday!
