Wednesday, on "the city":

In the bar, Jocelyn tells Ally and Tony that Sandra Carlson
killed Molly Malone and then came to NY. Alex tells her to
calm down. She refuses to calm down, all they know is that
Danny is out there with a very sick woman who is also a
killer.

In bed, Angie is having a dream about the murder. She sees
the black robe, then the person turns and she sees Molly's
face. She screams Molly's name and sits up in bed. Jacob
asks what's wrong. It's Molly, Angie says.

Good morning, Molly says, as she gets a tray from room service.
She turns and we see that Danny is tied to the bed. He
struggles to get free. Oh, she almost forgot. Good Morning
to you, too, sunshine.

Complements of the hotel, she says. This is so great,
she adds. Danny is gagged. She tells him that last night
was so peaceful. She slept like a baby. She hopes that he
is not mad at her for drugging his champagne. She takes
the tape off. Why did she do it? Danny asks. Say he's not
mad, Molly says, SAY HE'S NOT MAD! Okay, Danny says. He's
not mad. Good, she says. She knew that when he said that
Jocelyn and Alex were in Portland, it wouldn't be long
before they found out what she did. Her? Danny says. She's
the masquerader? he asks.

Angie tells Jacob that Molly killed Jared Chase. Jacob
thinks Angie must be thinking about Molly and she got
confused in her dream. She must have seen Molly shoot
Jared, and then pushed it to the back of her mind, to
scared to think about it. Jacob is having a hard time
thinking about Molly being a murderer. Could she be
confused? No. Angie remembers when Molly came to the
clinic with the cut hand. She had said she did it at
rehearsal but it was right after Sydney fell down the
elevator shaft. She has to tell Tony and Alex.

Where is Mrs. Malone? Jocelyn asks. Her plane may have
been late, Tony says. Jocelyn wants to go upstairs and
do *something* - like call Det. Dolan herslef. Alex
agrees to go with her. Tony tells them that he'll talk
to Mrs. Malone and fill them in later. Alex and Jocelyn
leave. Mrs. Malone walks in.

In Jocelyn's apartment, Alex is on the phone with Det.
Dolan. He knew it was a long shot, he tells her. Thanks
for trying. He tells Jocelyn that they didn't show up
on any airline's list. Jocelyn cries. She can't think
about never seeing Danny again. She pushed Molly on
Danny, Jocelyn sobs, saying that she was good for him.
Angie is pounding on Alex's door across the hall. Alex
opens Jocelyn's door, and Angie tells them that she
saw Molly's face. She killed Jared. God, Jocelyn yells,
why couldn't you have remembered when there was time
to save her brother!

Mrs. Malone says that it doesn't surprise her that
Sandra took Molly's name, she was jealous of everything
that Molly had; she wanted everything Molly had; she
took her life. Sandra changed classes to be with Molly.
Did they know Molly was a wonderful actress? No, Tony
says. She had a scholarship to an acting school. Molly's
friends told her to be careful, but Molly never saw it.
Sandra changed her hair style, her clothes to be like
Molly. Ally says Sandra was becomming Molly Malone.

Sandra/Molly tells Danny that she is not the masquerader,
she is an actress - a very good one. She deserved to be
in front of the stage, not behind the scenes. She had
the lead in a play once...or was that Molly? Danny is
confused, what is she talking about. Sandra...no...Molly,
Sandra continues. Who's Sandra? Danny asks. She was,
Sandra says, but not anymore. Sandra was a *nothing*,
Sandra yells. She learned a lot of things working
backstage, though; a lot of things. It helped her to
drywall Jocelyn. Poor Jocelyn, Sandra sighs; that was
suppose to be for the wicked Tess. Danny says the obit.
Nice touch, don't you think? Sandra says. And she
learned to shoot a gun. Good thing for Jared, Sandra
says. Why? Danny asks. He died quickly, which was too
good for him, after all the trouble he caused her.
He almost ruined her life; snooping around in her life.
Finding the masquerade, Danny says. NO MASQUERADE!
Sandra yells. SHE'S AN ACTRESS! Danny tells her to
untie him. So he can run away, like he threatened last
night? Sandra screams. No, Danny says, he won't go
anywhere...except maybe into her arms. Sandra isn't
buying it. She's screaming that they all say that...in
the beginning.

Mrs. Malone says even Molly finally got tired of it.
That's when Sandra killed her.

Everyone leaves her. Even Molly, Sandra says. She said
she wouldn't leave, but then she said she was going to
college and she couldn't go with her. So, she stopped her.
Danny says that he won't leave her. No! Sandra says.
He's not going anywhere. She's made sure of that.

Tony says so the police decided that the car accident
was an accident. But, Ally says, Mrs. Malone thinks
Molly...sorry, Sandra tampered with the brakes. Mrs.
Malone says she was capable. Sandra was very skilled
with her hands. She's very intelligent. When Molly died,
Sandra had a breakdown, and she was sent to Portland
Pines. Tony asks if she pressed charges. No, Mrs. Malone
said. Nothing would bring her Molly back, and why
compound the issue? Tony asks if she would be happy to
talk to the police. Anything, Mrs. malone says. She
wishes that she had pressed charges. She didn't know that
Sandra had escaped. If she had pressed charges, maybe she
could have prevented...Ally tells her it's not her fault.

Danny tells Sandra that he wants to be with her. She says
that she can't untie him, not now that he knows what
Sandra did. He says that he wanted to go away with her.
He says that he gave up going to Europe for her. Why?
Danny asks and then answers: he loves her. She's not sure.
The police will be after them, Sandra says. When he was in
jail, she told him to have faith. He wants her to have
faith in him now. She turns to him, as if she's thinking
about it.

Jocelyn appologizes to Angie. Molly may be holding Danny
hostage, Alex says. If he's not dead, already, Jocelyn
adds. Alex tells her not to lose hope. Jocelyn says she's
sorry, this is their special day. Alex congratulates them
on the marriage. Angie and Jacob leave, with a promise
from Alex and Jocelyn to call them if they need anything.
Outside, Angie says she thinks that once she married him
she wasn't afraid anymore, and she finally remembered.
Jacob sasy that's his job, to protect her and to make her
feel safe.

Jocelyn is listening to Danny's message. Why do you keep
listening to that? Alex asks. What if it's the last thing
he said? What is this is the last thing she ever hears
from him? She plays the message again. Alex tries to comfort
her. Wait, he says, did you hear that? What? Jocelyn says.
Alex grabs the tape, and tells her to come with him.
