Wednesday, on "the city":

In their apartment, Jacob kisses Angie as she's drying
the dishes. This is not the time, Angie protests. She has
to get to the clinic. She has patients to see. He kisses
her again. Isn't he supposed to be planning a party? He's
waiting for Buck and the party guy. The door bell rings.
Saved by the bell, Angie says. For now. Buck comes in and
asks if Tess came back from the dentist, yet. Yes, Angie
says, but she's taking a nap. Angie tells them to be
quiet so as not to wake up Tess and then she leaves. Buck
wonders if Angie knows the party is her wedding. Nope,
Jacob says, only three people know - the two of them and
the good Reverend Nick.

Nick is at home, getting ready to leave. Zoey comes in
and mothers him. How is he feeling, is there anything she
can do for him? Nick tells her that he has to go plan a
party. She'll be at the clinic, then, Zoey says. They hug.

At Sydney's penthouse, the doorbell rings, and Molly hides
the letter opener. Sydney gets off the phone. Molly puts
the letter opener down while Sydney heads for the door.
It's Danny. Sydney tells the body guard that it's okay.
Danny starts to talk to her about her job proposal, then
he sees Molly, who is not happy. Danny wonders what she is
doing there. Sydney says that his little girlfriend was
checking up on his whereabouts. Sydney suggests that
Danny should tell her everything. Danny looks at Molly
and she says she wants to know if he's going to London
with Sydney.

Danny asks if Sydney told Molly about the London job.
Sydney says she didn't have any choice, his little friend
her...Danny says her name is Molly...Sydney continues,
saying Ms. Malone barged in and made accuations about
some bogus business trip Sydney sent Danny on. Molly says
that's not true, Sydney is making this up. Danny and
Sydney argue about Molly going to London. Sydney says that
her offer stands, take it or leave it. Speaking of
leaving...and Sydney turns to Molly. Molly asks, Danny?
He tells her to stay where she is.

At the clinic, Zoey tells Angie that Nick is fine.
Couldn't there be a mistake? Zoey pleads. No, Angie says,
no mistake. Zoey says that Richard has been spending time
with Nick. What about her, Angie asks. Has she been
spending time with Richard? No, Zoey replies. She says that
Richard doesn't hate her, in fact he said he has no feelings
for her at all. Angie says that when someone says that it's
to hurt the other person, and it shows that there are some
feelings there. Zoey, returning to talking about Nick,
says that Nick feels so good, is there is a chance of
remission? Angie says never says never. She was almost out
of here, but she made it. Zoey says and look at Ally and
how everyone though she was dead when she was poisoned.
Never says never, Angie says again. Angie thinks the party
is good medicine.

Buck, Nick, and Jacob decide to have the wedding in the
apartment. It's the same size of the bar. What about
decorations. Flowers? Nick suggests. Where do you get
flowers? Jacob asks (ed. note: someone needs to talk to these
men if they have no idea where to get flowers!). Buck says
there is a flower guy on the corner, and Buck thinks he is
in love with Nick. It's just a crush, Nick laughs. What
colors? Nick asks. Flower colors, Jacob says. They remember
they need a cake. Buck suggests the cook at the bar. He
makes muffins, Jacob laughs. So, Buck says, we'll have him
make one really *big* muffin, all decorated. They all laugh.
Buck shhhhhhhs them, saying they don't want to wake up Tess,
who is awake, and listening in.

Buck asks they can buy cake pans, and mix, and bake it and
decorate it and boom, you got a wedding cake. Nick volunteers
to go to the place and get the people for the top. Tess
coughs and they all stop talking. Tess leaves. That was
close. Maybe, Jacob says, this secret thing is too weird.
Maybe he should talk to Angie. Buck talks him out of that.
They're gone this far. They decide to continue this secret.
They talk about what kind of music to have. Jacob says he
has that covered, he knows exactly what Angie's favorite
 music is.

Zoey tells Angie that she is the DJ for Nick's party. She's
going to find all Nick's old records...she just has to find
a record player. they're an antique now, and very hard to
come by. Tess comes in and tells Angie that she needs to
talk to her...alone. Zoey leaves. Tess says this is personal...
a woman thing...Angie asks if tess is pregnant. If she was,
Tess laughs, it would be by emaculate conception. Tess says
Angie might hate her, but if she doesn't tell her, she might
hate her...but if it was her, she'd want to know...Jacob is
going to kill her...but, well. WHAT IS IT, TESS? Angie prompts.
Well, that party for Nick is really a wedding. Are Nick and
Loraine getting married? Angie asks. No, Tess says, Angie
and Jacob are. Tomorrow night, Tess adds. Angie looks stunned.

Sydney tells Danny that his siding with Molly is her answer.
The deal is off. Why does it have to be all or nothing? Danny
asks. Molly says she knows. Danny asks her to fill him in.
Molly asks if she should or would Sydney like the honors?
Sydney tells Molly to do the pleasures. Molly says that
Sydney said that she didn't care if Danny could cut it in
this business, as long as he could cut it under the sheets.
Sydney wants him, not his business expertise.

Nick and Buck have finalized the wedding plans. Jacob says
he has one more job. He needs Buck to do it. He wants Buck
to be the Best Man. Me? Buck asks. Someone has to do it,
Jacob says, and Nick's performing the wedding. Buck says
he'll do it. Nick, getting ready to leave, asks if he can
tell Loraine, he might need help with the flowers. Sure,
Jacob says, tell anyone, but not Angie. Or Tess, Buck says.
She can't keep a secret.

Angie is all for the wedding. They keep planning it, but so
many things have stood in their way. That's what Jacob said,
Tess says. Oh, so he's putting this on her? Angie wants to
go through with this, but she wants to play with Jacob a
little. She needs Tess' help.

Sydney says that's a wonderful story. Molly is a better
actress than she gave her credit for. She looks at Danny.
He doesn't believe her, does he? Oh, Sydney says after
Danny doesn't say anything. Well, Sydney adds, her offer is
off the table, as of right now. Sydney takes them to the
door. She tells the body guard to feel free, if either of
these two ever come back, to throw them down the stairs.

Outside, waiting for the elevator, Danny remember Sydney
telling him that Molly is a girl. He deserves better. He
says that Molly stood by him. So, Sydney counters, he "owes"
her? No, she is fragile right now, Danny says, and he wants
to protect her. Like a little girl? Sydney says. Molly says
that she has access to a cabin, in the woods, by a lake.
She thinks they should go away for a few days, alone. To
be together.
