Wednesday in "the city":

In Tony's apartment, Jocelyn tells Ally that they should
go. Ally says she's not ready to go yet. Carla kisses
Tony's cheek and tells Ally that it *is* their wedding
night. Tony tells Carla to knock it off. Ally tells Tony
to walk Jocelyn to the apartment...she has something to
talk to his *wife* about.

In the bar, Jacob and Buck tell Alex and Danny about
Sydney being pushed down the elevator shaft. So, Alex
says, they're not dealing with *just* a psychotic, we're
dealling with a *pissed off* psychotic. Molly comes over,
bubbling about how they'll never guess what happened to
her in rehearsal today. Alex and Danny glare at her. What?
she asks so innocently...no, don't tell me something else
happened.

In Sydney's loft, Richard says he was only there because
Nick said he should talk to her.

Richard says he went to church, and he asked for a sign
that he should forgive her. Know what he heard or felt?
Nothing...like now. Sydney says but he saved her life.
He must care. Richard says he only did for her what he'd
do for anyone. Sydney says that if he really wanted her
dead, all he had to do was walk away, a few more minutes
and he would have been an heir. Well, Richard says, his
parents didn't raise him like that. Sydney tells him that
when she saw his face, she thought there is her wonderful
son. Richard replies that when he saw her, he figured it
was just another one of her schemes to get his attention.

Molly finds out that Sydney was pushed into the elevator.
Some one tells Molly that Sydney will be okay. Danny says
he thought he saw someone on the stairs...dressed in black,
with a hood or soemthing. He didn't think anything about
it at the time; he was in a hurry. Molly moves her bag
closer to her chair.

Carla asks Ally if she has something white and frilly she
can wear to bed. Ally says it doesn't matter what she wears,
no one will see it. Ally says it's amazing, in front of
her father, Carla complains about living here. But, when
it's just the two of them, Carla is looking forward to it.
Yes, Carla says, and it's killing her, isn't it? Go ahead,
Carla goads Ally, let her have it.

In Jocelyn's apartment, Jocelyn and Tony talk about his
sham of a marriage. Tony wants to know how long he has
to stay married. He can maybe live with this a month or
two. Jocelyn says, Tonnnnyyyyyy. Oh no, Tony says, are
you saying this is till death do us part?

Jocelyn says the Feds want Carla, they want the whole
Solieto family, they will take them down one at a time.
They won't give up. Tony remmeber when the "Solieto
family" used to mean weddings, beach parties. They
would tell bad jokes, they were good at the really bad
jokes. Uncle Gino would let him pull silver dollars out
of his ear. And Gino wopuld let him keep them sometimes.
He probably knew what the family was up to, but he
always knew he wasn't gonna get involved in the business.
She tells Tony that she never said he couldn't see Ally.
They work together, after all. Tony asks if that would
be enough for Jocelyn and Alex. This is killing him,
he's playing a happily married man 15 feet from Ally's
door. When two people love each other, Jocelyn says,
nothing or no one will keep them apart.

Ally tells Carla that Tony is a wonderful man. Carla
said she knew Tony before Ally even knew he existed.
Then, Ally says, Carla should realize what a special
man Tony is. He only married her to stop from having
to testify against her. Carla touches Ally on the arm.
Ally pulls away and tells Carla not to tough her.
Carla says she was looking for the halo. Ally says that
Carla better give Tony some slack. Or she'll make Carla's
life a living hell. Ally leaves, and runs into Tony.
They hug in the hallway and she tells him not to let her
go. Carla looks at them from the apartment.

Richarda says that his mother was the lady that bandaged
his scrapes. He blames Sydney for Nick's drinking. If he
had known he was a father, he might have lead a better life.

Alex says the guy was spotted, that was the first mistake.
Alex expects the masquerader to make another mistake. He
details his plans to keep an eye on the monitors, and to
implement a buddy system for the women in the building.
Then he says since this guy seems to like to use the
phone a lot (ed. note: how did Alex figure this one out???
Only two pranks were instigated over the phone...one for
Jocelyn and the lates for Sydney...why would that suggest
a lot of phone use?), he'll get a record of all the calls
made from the phones here, starting with the one here in
the bar. Molly is nervous. It may not lead anywhere,
Alex says, but it's a start. Molly is hyperventalating.
She has turned her back on the table. Danny strokes her
hair and asks what's wrong. Alex looks at her suspiciously.

Molly says she's just tired, and she's getting a headache.
Alex asks if she has any asprin in her bag. NO! Molly says,
grabbing the bag. It's just clothes for rehearsal. She
zipps it up. Alex and Buck leave. Danny says she's not
okay. She's so worried, Molly says. Danny says he's gonna
stick by her like glue. She knows something is going to
happen to her and she can't stop it.

Sydney says it's so easy for him to pass judgement. No,
Richard says, it's not. He continues, saying that he's
just like one of her stock options. She sold him, then
had seller's regret, and bought him back. He tells her
she can't do that to people. Sydney says he can't leave
her like this. If her ankle bothers her, Richard says,
Jared's walking stick is in the closet. He can't be
this cold, Sydney says. He has ice water in his veins,
Richard says. He leaves.

Ally and Tony kiss, as cops run up the stairs. Think
they saw us? Ally asks. Tony says at this point in time,
he doesn't care. Ally pulls away. She goes into her
apartment, crying. Jocelyn says everything will be okay,
she'll find a way out of this.

Tony comes into his apartment, and Carla asks what he
wants to order for supper. Tony says he's not hungry,
he just wants to go to sleep. Tony is carrying a pillow
and blanket. On the couch? Carla asks. Sure, Tony says,
he put fresh sheets on the bed; it's all hers. Sounds
like he was expecting someone, Carla sighs. Yeah, Tony
says, plopping down on the couch. Carla, twirling her
expensive wedding ring, remembers telling Gino that she
doesn't just want Tony, she wants him to want her...like
he wants Ally.
