Wednesday, in "the city":

Liar, liar, pants on fire
-------------------------

Richard, who is close to finishing off a bottle, is upset
with Sydeny for keeping the truth from him. Zoey is trying to
get the bottle away from him. She throws his galss at a
picture of Sydney, breaking the glass and the glass in the
frame. Zoey cleans up the broken glass. Richard is upset. He
talks about having his father's looks and his mother's smile.
Zoey tells him that his parents are the people who raised him
and the ones who got on his case for staying out late. he
says he never understood her need to find her real parents.
She tries to get him to take a shower. He says she is the
only one he can trust to be honest with him...well, most of
the time. He tries to hold her, but she tells him not to
treat her like a saint. She tells him that she knew, for a
couple of months, but didn't tell him cause Sydney asked her
not to. He gets mad at her and asks how much Sydney paid her.
Everyone has a price, what was hers? She tells him that she
loves him, and she invented Father Luke and broke up with him
when she thought they were related, because she loved him. He
yells at her to get out! He literally kicks her out of the
apartment. She bangs on the door and he ignores her, falling
on the bed.

Do you know where you Significant Other was last night?
-------------------------------------------------------

Molly is leaving her apartment when she runs into Danny. He
was out late last night, again she says. He was working. She
assumes it was Sydney, but Danny says no, in fact, she asked
him to stand in for her at a dinner. It was about his
magazine. Molly is upset, the director told her during a
break that if she doesn't start to show some talent, he'd
find someone else. She says he hired her, if he didn't think
she could do it, why did he give her the chance? Danny says
that's the director's way of getting a stellar performance
from her. Push for that little extra to put her over the top.
He says she'll feel better by her second cup of coffee,
he wants to cheer her up, and he starts kissing her. She says
she feels better already. What about his breakfast meeting?
He'll be late, he promises, with a very good excuse. She
smiles.

Oh, What a Beautiful Morning (or not)
-------------------------------------

In the bar, with Buck, Tess is thrilled that the sun is
coming up. It's georgeous, she says. He agrees, looking at
her. She wasn't sure if she'd ever see another day. Buck is
putting tons of sugar into his coffee, and she's just looking
at him. He enjoyed being her body guard. He thinks she should
go up and get some rest. Tony, Alex, and Ally come into the
bar. Buck says they're not open, but they can fry something
up. Alex tell Tess and Buck that Jocelyn is missing. What
about Jocelyn? Danny asks as he and Molly come into the bar.
They tell Danny and Molly that she's been missing. Tess
thinks maybe she met with the Masquerader. She tells them
about her note. Danny says Sydney couldn't have met with Tess
at 9, she was at the hospital with Nick. Ally realizes Tess
left about that time. But, they checked the agency already,
all they found was the patched up hole. What patch? Danny
asks. Are you kidding? It as still a hole earlier in the day.
Tony says so Sydney found good contractors. Come on, Danny
says, this is union. They realize there is something funny
about the patch job. Alex tells Buck to call the police
station and ask for Lucy. Buck says he's on it. He dials, as
Tony, Alex, Ally, Danny, and Molly run upstairs to the
agency. Danny says that was a hole when he left last night.
Alex calls out to Jocelyn that if she is there, to move away
from the wall. He takes a convient crowbar (did Janet form
AMC leave it there?) and he breaks a hole in the drywall. He
and Danny drag Jocelyn, who is regaining consciousness, from
the hole and put her on a chair. Who's responsible for
this. She whispers, as she's trying to catch her breath,
Mask...What? Alex asks. Masquerader. She coughs out "Happy
Now. I know. I know the whole story, Alex. I know!" Alex
looks around and we pan to Tony and Danny, then on to a close
up of Ally and Molly.
