Sydney is going over Chase holdings with Danny, who she thinks is executive
material. He+s hungry and wants to send out for pizza, but she enlightens
him
on the fact that executives *never* send out for pizza. Dinner arrives on a
silver tray - it includes at least caviar. As they eat, Danny brings up
GenX
magazine that Chase owns. Syd says it+s been a losing concern since the
beginning. Danny wants to redo the mag, and tie it to the internet with a
web
site. He asks if he+s getting too technical, and she says no (News flash to
TPTB
 - the Internet/Arpanet has been around long before Generation X became a
force!)
He opens champagne, it bubbles all over him, so Sydney kindly uses her
napkin
to blot up some of it off his chest. He goes back to his magazine ideas,
she
pretends to listen.

Ally meets Jocelyn and Alex at the bar (they are all *way* overdressed).
 She
tells them she can+t find Tony and runs back out. Later, she runs back in
and
Jocelyn tells her that she is planning to find a legal way out of Tony+s
predicament.
Ally tells her it+s not the FBI she is worried about, it+s what Carla would
do. Ally
runs out again (where the *hell* is she looking for him??!) Jocelyn
realizes that
Danny didn+t show for the concert either. Ally is back once again, Alex
tries to
get her to stay, but she runs up to check her messages.

Meanwhile, Carla (apparently thinking the way to a man+s heart is through
B&D) has Tony literally tied up - she wants the tapes. He points out that
he
didn+t give the tapes to the FBI or Gino, why would he give them to her?
 She
starts chatting about Ally and her adorable son Tyler. He tells her not to
go
there. Carla puts lipstick on his collar and runs against him to get her
scent
on him. He tells her it won+t work, Ally knows how he feels. He tells her
to untie him, but she says she has one last thing to do.

Zoey, despite Azure+s urging, is hesitant about telling Nick about his
having a son, not a daughter. Azure says she+ll stand behind Zoey all
the way, she+ll be around for the next few days. Later, Azure asks Zoey
to write her in San Francisco, Zoey says she+s not much of a writer, but
she+ll call all the time. Zoey asks if Azure is going to see Bernardo off,
Azure says they+ve said good-bye, she doesn+t want to go through that
again. As she leaves the bar, she runs into Bernardo in the hallway.

Buck and Jacob are wondering where Nick is for his second set. The crowd
is becoming unruly (Gosh, a band starting late - how unusual!!) Nick shows
and starts the set with a song dedicated to his daughter. Angie, at a table
with Jacob, Buck, and Tess, is worried about how Nick looks. The others
aren+t concerned. The song ends, the crowds erupts into applause. Angie
and
Jacob observe that everything is looking up now. A little apart from them,
Buck
makes the same observation to Tess and comments on their happiness. Tess
tells him not to say that - it+s a jinx.

Zoey wants to talk to Richard, but is interrupted by a production assistant
who pulls Richard away to retape his closing for the coverage of the
concert.
After she says bye to Azure, she goes up to Richard again - she tells him
that there is something she has to say about him and Nick.

Nick leaves the stage and goes up to Lorraine who congratulates him. They
hug and he starts crumbling in pain. (Ending)
