Hi everone,

Just about everyone, except Richard and Zoey, was on today's episode.
Most of the action took place in the City Bar, but first we go to Ally
and Joc's apartment.....

CAREER DAY
Location: Ally and Joc's apartment

*(In Ally's bedroom) Ally is asleep in bed. Tony wakes her up, waving a
fresh peach under her nose. They kiss and Ally wants Tony to come back
to bed. He reminds her that Joc is downstairs. "So we'll be quiet",
Ally tell him, kissing him again. Alex is here too, he slept on the
couch last night. That kills Ally's romantic mood immediately, she's
curious why Alex spent the night. Tony's curious too, which is sweeter,
the peach or Ally...Long kiss (Ally wins:-)

*(Downstairs in the apartment) Jocelyn is running on a treadmill.
She's glad Alex stayed, she slept like a baby last night. Joc is
telling Alex that she had a dream of them having a 'normal' life, when
Molly appears. "Good morning all", she chirps in that gratingly
cheerful voice.(Can you tell she's getting on my nerves??) She's off
to the most important audition of her life. "Break a leg", Alex says.
Molly leaves, carrying a bag with her.

*Tony's sitting at the table eating cereal and Ally's sitting next to
him as Joc tells them about the message on the answering machine from
her dad. Tony says someone must have gotten a hold of some old tapes
and spliced them together. "Probably the same person who knows an awful
lot about poison sushi and has access to every loft in this building",
Alex adds. (Ally picks her second peach slice off Tony's cereal) Tony
asks Ally if she wants him to make her a bowl. No, she's not hungry.
Alex tells them that the message from Joc's dad is going to have to stay
between the four of them, not even Danny knows. Same thing with the
surveillance equipment. If they tell the police, it's going to be taken
to the evidence room, where it won't be able to do them any good. Tony
suggests that they bring all the surveillance equipment over to the loft
tonight, maybe they'll get to see the Happy Now nut. (Ally has been
picking out of Tony's bowl the whole time and wiping her fingers on his
napkin) "Ally, are you sure you don't want me to make you a bowl??"
"I couldn't, I'm full". The phone rings and everyone just stares at it.
Ally answers it, it's for Joc. The Bar Association wants to meet her
today about her case. They're going to decide if she gets disbarred or
not.

*Tony tries to cheer Joc up, even if she's disbarred, she's still
working for one of the richest women in the world. Well, she can always
get a job at a deli, she's good at making sandwiches, Joc says.
"Jocelyn Brown, counter girl", Tony jokes. How about a carnival barker,
Alex suggests. She'd rather wash windows on the Empire State Building.
How about the greatest job in New York - ballgirl for the NY Yankees?
"Go from working for Sydney Chase to George Steinbrenner, I don't think
so." "What's the difference?", Alex wants to know. Tony always wanted
to be the captain of the Staten Island Ferry. "What's with you guys and
boats?", Ally asks,"Tyler had this little red sailboat that..." "When he
left he could barely say sailboat and now he probably says it in
French." Tony comes up from behind and hugs her. Ally misses Tyler so
much. Alex asks Joc to remember back to career day in high school, what
did she really want to be? "A lawyer", Joc says sadly.

*Tony promises that when Tyler comes to New York, they're going to do
everything - the Staten Island Ferry, Coney Island, a Yankees game.
Ally misses him, but won't have him come until it's safe. Tony promises
to catch the nut. Alex offers to go with Joc, but she says no. She's
not sorry she took the stand to help Danny, but being a lawyer is all
she ever wanted. Then stand up and fight for it, Alex tells her. Make
them see how good she is, prove it to them.

THE CITY BAR - WHERE EVERYBODY GOES
Location: The City Bar

*Nick and Jacob are at the bar. Jacob is trying to get in touch with
the backup band, but only gets their machine. Nick asks Jacob if they
knew they were supposed to be there at 9 AM. Yes, Jacob assures him.
9 AM Eastern Daylight Time? Jacob tells him to relax, but Nick is
obviously annoyed. Just then, Buck comes in the front door. "Is it an
unbelievable day, or what?!", he exclaims as he joins Jacob behind the
bar. He starts telling Lorraine about the baby when Tess and Angie walk
in. Buck grabs a flower in a vase sitting on the bar and goes over to
give it to Tess. The backup band walks in. "You're late", Nick growls,
"Go set up. That is, if you're intending to play today."

*(Upstairs in the City Bar) Danny is waiting at a table. Sydney joins
him. Danny tells her that Molly knows they slept together. Molly
appears at the top of the staircase and Syd turns around to look at her.
(A song which has been playing in the background gets loud as Sydney
turns around and looks at Molly - "one of these days these boots are
going to walk all over you.")

*Sydney invites Molly to join them, but she doesn't have the time
because of her audition. It's for a new Broadway musical called Subway
Tango. Sydney wishes her good luck. Molly and Danny walk over to the
stairs, where Danny tells Molly he's talked with Syd and he won't be
working long hours, so he and Molly will have time to spend together.
Molly tells him she's "really OK with this" and leaves. Danny wants
Syney to know that he mentioned Molly knowing they slept together
because it's important to him. "What, your girlfriend or your potential
new job?" "Both", Danny says. "Well then, you know, you may have a
problem", Sydney warns him.

*(Downstairs)The band tells Nick there was a water main break, gridlock,
and besides, they're only ten minutes late. "You're here to play, not
make excuses", Nick snaps. Buck asks Jacob what's wrong with Nick. "He
needs a nap", Jacob says loudly so Nick can hear him.

*Angie tells Tess that she stopped by the hospital and the baby's doing
fine. Molly asks Jacob for coffee and sits down at the bar next to
Angie and Tess. Angie asks how Molly is, and Molly tells them she's
nervous about her big audition. Molly asks Tess how her date at the
Rainbow Room went. "Buck and I decided to have a baby instead", Tess
tells Molly, who looks understandably confused.

*Molly tells Tess she can't believe Tess delived a baby right there.
"Right into these well-manicured hands, swaddled in a $1500 blanket."
But Tess thinks it was definitely worth having to pay for the dress.
Buck is wooing her. They talked, danced and he gave her "the sweetest
kiss good-night" Tess doesn't have any money, but she's never been
happier (and we all know what that means - watch out, Tess) Angie hopes
that the dark cloud over the building has been lifted. Molly leaves for
her audition, waving to Danny on the way out.

*Nick's still being nasty to the band. Jacob tells Nick to take a
break, he'll handle it. Jacob and Buck try to talk to Nick about his
foul mood. Why doesn't Nick just ease up a bit, the band wasn't that
late. If he keeps treating them so badly, they're going to push back.
Nick says let them, they're here to work, if they can't cut it, they can
leave. Nick goes back to work with the band, in no better mood than
before.

*(back upstairs) Sydney reminds Danny that if he works for her, he'll be
on call 24 hours a day, travelling all over the world, and staying in
apartments and hotels with her. They'll be spending a lot of time
together, can Molly handle it? As long as it's just business, Danny
tells her. Sydney offered him a job because she owes him, she can trust
him and she thought he knew what he wanted. He does, he wants to work
for Sydney. In that case, she'll have Jocelyn draw up the papers.
Danny thinks this means the Bar Assoc. decided in Joc's favor. Not yet,
but Sydney's already decided to keep her on. Joc is a "damn fine
attorney, she's sharp, and she's loyal. I guess it runs in the family."

*(downstairs)Nick and the band are practicing and he's still not happy.
Angie and Lorraine are watching the practice. Angie suggest that maybe
Lorraine should talk Nick into postponing the concert. "I value my
life", Lorraine says. "What about Nick's", Angie replies. Nick stops
in the middle of a song. He says that he broke a G-string(on his
guitar), but he looks like he's in pain. He suggests they take a break.

*(back upstairs, one last time)"I guess we're all set", says Sydney.
She wants them to feel comfortable with one another, it's important if
they are going to be working together. Sydney leaves and goes
downstairs. Looking around to be sure no one can overhear, she calls
"David", who is apparently responsible for bringing "Subway Tango", the
musical Molly is auditioning for, to Broadway. Sydney tells him that
she'll be one of his backers, on one condition. "There's an actress
you're going to be seeing this afternoon, Molly Malone..."

*Danny comes downstairs and runs into Tess, who asks him how it feels to
be a free man. Great, he says, not very excitedly. Tess says he should
be thrilled. Tess is right, and he's going to throw a party at his
place tonight to celebrate. He asks the backup band to play. They say
no, but recommend a good DJ. Tess asks Buck if he wants to go to a
party. "It's not a Lamaze class graduation, is it?", he asks. When
Tess promises no pregnant women, he says it's a date and they kiss.

THE MASQUERADE CONTINUES
Location: Jared's secret room

Tess and Buck's kiss (see directly above) is being show on one of the
monitors in Jared's no longer secret room. A person with black gloves,
a black sleeve and a black hooded cape shuts off the monitor with the
remote control.

To be continued.....

LOD: Sydney: No explanations, they bore me.
     Danny: It's about Molly.
Sydney: Now you're really boring me.

That's it for today. See you next Thursday!
