Wednesday in "the city":

At the prisoner visiting booths, over the phone, Alex tells
Danny the Loren is a possible suspect. And Tony's cousin, Carla?
Danny asks. Ally has a photo of her visiting Jared's funeral.
Ohhhh, a photo, Danny is not thirilled. Alex tells him that
Malcolm has an air-tight alibi. Alex tells Danny that Danny
has to tell the truth about where Danny was the night Jared
died. Alex threatens to tell Jocelyn himself.

Meanwhile, in the detective agency, Jocelyn is asking Tony
that sine Alex has given up trying to find an alibi for Danny,
has he given up on finding an alibi for Danny, too. Tony tells
Jocelyn and Ally that there is nothing on the tape that would
incriminate her. Ally says that maybe she should listen, there
may be something only a woman can pick up.

Carla comes into the club and tells Joey that he is suppose
to be away from here. He tells her that he's done taking orders
from her.

Tony plays the tape he made of him and Carla. Ally is not
happy that Tony kissed her (she kissed him, Tony says) and her
towel dropped. Tony says she knows there is only one girl for
him. Yeah, Ally sighs, but which one of them is it? Tony tells
her to knock it off. She says she's only kidding.

Nick wants to talk to Sydney about their son. Sydney recovers
and tells him it's been a long day.

Nick tells Sydney that Jared hired some goons to pour booze
down his throat. While he was unconscious, Jared mentioned
something about their bastard son. He thought it was funny
at the time to still have Jared be so concerned, and he
realizes that it's a little late, but he'd like to visit
their son's grave.

Danny tells Alex that he will admit to killing Jared, if it
comes to that, but he will deny being with his father when
he has the heart attack. Alex says he admires him, but if
Danny goes to the electric chair, what is to become of
Jocelyn then? Alex hangs up the phone and leaves.

Jocelyn is trying to figure out the tie to the blood on the
robe, and the dead bird, besides the notes. Molly suggests
that maybe Sydney told Loren. Molly says that Sydney did
freak out when Molly asked her if she was happy now, and
Molly didn't know until now what she was freaked about.
Jocelyn thinks they are dealing with two different people,
since there was no "Happy Now" note near Jared's body.
Jocelyn thinks the person is smart. Then that points to
Carla. is that with, or without, the towel, Ally remarks.

Sydney says this is not like Nick. He says that now that
he's sober, he realizes that he may not have much time
left and he needs to do this. Nick says she adopted Richard
to take the place of her baby. She didn't adopt him for
that reason! Maybe she shouldn't have adopted anyone. He
tells her that Richard thinks she did alright, or at
least the best she probably could.

Molly visits Danny. She gives him new cassettes. She tells
him that she feels so dumb for missing a bird so much. He
says it's not dumb. He'd call it...sweet. He tells her to
be careful. If anything were to happen to her...She tells
him to be optomistic.

Carla tells Joey that Tony busted into the club while she
was waiting for her masage. He asked a lot of questions
about Jared and the murder. She doesn't want Tony to ask
any more questions. Joey says he understands, where does
she want the hit to happen, the garage like last time?
Joey tells her that he will not hurt his brother, and
neither will she. What? Will Joey tell her daddy? Carla
sneers. No, he's got something better. What? The contract
linking her to Jared, Joey says.

Jocelyn leaves, and runs into Alex. Danny is not optomistic,
Alex says. She figured, Jocelyn says. She tells Alex to
stay on the case. Okay, he agrees, he'll ge to work.
Jocelyn tells him not to go into the office, Tony and Ally
are having...doing...well, they're...OH, great! Alex says,
what is he suppose to do, stand in the hall? She invites
him into her place. Is she sure? If she wasn't sure, she
wouldn't have invited him in.

Ally says for the third time, nothing is wrong. For the
third time, Tony says, yeah, something is wrong. Okay, it's
Carla, Ally yells. Tony says he can't wait to nail her.
Funny choice of words, Ally says. Tony says she's jealous!

Ally says she's not jealous of anyone. She may be a little
curious. What did Carla mean that he had magic fingers?
How would he know, he never touched her. What about under
the board walk? what about it. Carla mentioned that they
kissed then, too. And he responded. He doesn't remember,
Tony says. They fight. Ally says this is ridiculous, she
feels like a she's in high school, wearing his letter
jacket, and seeing him with a cheerleader. His letter
jacket is her letter jacket, Tony jokes. She pulls back
and runs out. Alex comes in. He offers to give Tony advice,
but he's not an expert in the relationship department. Tony
says He's GOT IT.

Jocelyn sees Ally in the hall, and Ally says she ruining it
between her and Tony.

Carla says Joey saw her rip up the contract. He's got a
copy. Yeah, right. Joey quotes enough of it to convience
Carla. Where is this contract? Carla asks. If anything
happens to Tony or his girlfriend, she'll find out where
the paper is, right after the police find out. And what
if something happens to Joey? Carla threatens. He's got
that covered; the contract will be found. She tells him
that he won't like having her as an enemy. He loves a
challenge, Joey tells her.

Sydney lies that Jared took care of the baby's funeral,
since she was in no shape to cope. Then, later? Nick asks.
Jared refused to tell her where the baby was burried, since
he figiured she'd obsess and never let it go. Nick asks if
their baby really died.
