Carla drops her towel and kisses Tony. He backs off, denying interest - but
she doesn+t believe him. She says they have chemistry between them, but
he says it+s not chemistry, it+s toxic waste. Tony asks about Jared,
implying
that maybe she killed him. She tells him she knew Jared and admired him,
but won+t confirm a deeper relationship. He leaves and outside the door
he pulls out a tape recorder and says It+s not over yet Carla.

Buck and a surly Jacob are in the bar. Buck thinks Nick+s big show will
help, but Jacob is uncharacteristically pessimistic. Buck gets a clue and
ties
the bad mood to Angie+s earlier visit. Buck points out that things aren+t
so
bad, no one has been murdered today - yet. Jacob lightens up a little bit.

The girls are all upset over the dead parakeet, and Tess points out that
some
one had access to their apartment. Jocelyn sees a note and reads it - HAPPY
NOW. They discuss Syd+s bloody robe, her note, etc. Jocelyn thinks it+s
more serious than a prank and Molly wonders if someone wants to hurt her.
Jacob arrives and Angie takes him aside to fill him in. Azure and Zoey
speculate that although a conscious Angie wouldn+t hurt anyone, a sleep-
walking one might. Ally wants to compare Molly+s note with Sydney+s but
Joc wants to get Molly home first. (Why? It+s not like she+s safer there?)
Molly doesn+t want to be left alone, so Zoey and Azure offer to stay. Zoey
goes to find some candy for a sugar high and Azure tries to comfort Molly
by telling her about a pet bird she had as a child. Molly apologizes to
Azure
for the not nice things she said to her earlier. Azure forgives and they
hug.

Jocelyn and Ally hold the two notes next to each other and decide without
a doubt that they were written by the same person. Jocelyn comes to the
surprising conclusion that whoever is doing this is sick.

Jacob indirectly asks Angie if she could have been responsible for the dead
bird. She is very upset at the accusation and says this is one time she
*knows* that she isn+t responsible. She tells him that if he+s so worried
he can lock her up in the bedroom and sleep on the couch to be safe.

Sydney is surprised to see Lauren come in. Lauren tells Sydney that she
walked to her home and that she missed her. She also tells Sydney that she
knew she had been visiting and the last time was with a man. Syd wonders
why Lauren didn+t let on that she knew what was happening. My secret
says Lauren. The doorbell rings, Lauren doesn+t want it answered, but when
Richard calls out that it+s him, Sydney lets him in. He+s surprised to see
Lauren and she says that she had to come back to take care of Sydney. (She
speaks in a flat voice - I don+t know if it+s the actress or the character
who+s
doing it). Richard asks how she got in - she has a key. That makes him
wonder more, since the locks have been recently changed. Daddy had told
her that there+s always a key behind the light fixture. He also wonders why
she didn+t tell the doctors she was better. Lauren says she was scared,
that
Sydney had told her that the world was full of bad people. Sydney
interrupts
his questioning saying Lauren needs rest. Lauren doesn+t want the hospital
called, she just wants to spend one night with Sydney so Syd takes her
upstairs.
Richard oddly warns Lauren to be careful, there+s a lot of stairs. Richard
thinks Lauren+s behaviour is strange and suggests that maybe she wasn+t
in a coma the night Jared died. Sydney thinks he+s over reacting, but
Richard decides to spend the night.

Buck and his nice chest are in bed sleeping (it+s 1 a.m. on his bedside
clock). The camera comes in leading us to believe someone dangerous
is walking through his house and up to the bed. He opens his eyes, yells
Whoa! and grabs for the light. He then looks relieved and the camera
swings around to show Tess. She asks him to just hold her, and he does
while she looks upset and close to tears (last scene)

The clue during AMC was the one with the bottle of poison under the rook.
