Tuesday on "the city":

There's a knock on Sydney's door. It's Jocelyn. They need to
talk, Jocelyn says as she comes into the apartment. She says
that Danny told her that they were having an affair. Sydney
says "Oh, please!" Jocelyn thinks Sydney was setting Danny
up to kill Jared.

At the clinic, Jacob comes in. He got Frankie settled, he
tells Angie, so he figured he'd take an earlier flight to
surprise her. She says she's so glad, it's seemed like he
was gone forever.

Tony walks into the darkroom. Ally yells at him to shut the
door, didn't he see the red light? Is he in big trouble?
Tony asks. She was just about to make the prints, so they
can see who was paying their last respects to Jared. It's
kinda small in here, Ally says. Tony says that's why he
likes it. They kiss.

Alex talks to Danny in jail. Alex knows Danny is lying about
where he was that night, since the place he said he went to
was closed that night.

Ally and Tony are stirring the developer fluid. She tells
him slow and easy. Slooooow and eassssssyyyy, Tony says
sexily. Yeah. Keep it moving, she tells him. The timer goes
off. Saved by the bell, Tony says. Ally says they need to
get the prints developed. Is that all they need? Tony says.
They kiss.

Alex says he's lying. Danny says maybe he got the subway
stop wrong. No, Alex doesn't think so. Danny says he doesn't
need an alibi, he didn't kill Jared. Alex says it doesn't
matter. The police need to make an arrest. It doesn't matter
if he is innocent, his prints on the murder gun is enough.

Jocelyn gets Sydney to admit that she slept with Danny.
Jocelyn relaxes and asks Sydney to tell her the rest, did
she and Danny plot to kill Jared?

The phone rings. Jacob gets it. It's Detective Dolan. Angie
takes it. Yes, yes. She understands. She'll be here. She
hangs up the phone. She tells Jacob that the police told
her that even though they have arrested Danny, she is not
free to leave town. She tells Jacob that Richard found her
near Jared's body, and his blood was on her robe.

Jacob wonders why she was near the agency at night. She
doesn't know; she was sleepwalking. Why didn't he tell her?
She didn't want him to worry. If they had gone farther...
she starts. How much farther would it have taken for her
to tell him! Does she think Danny is guilty? he asks. How
can she think he is guilty, Angie says, when it could have
been her? Jacob gets her to talk about why she might have
been at the agency. She knew he was a rapist. That's not
enough for her to want to kill him. She found out that
Jared was responsible for the bomb that almost killed
Frankie. So she did have reason to want him dead, Angie says.

Tony sees some photos of him that he didn't know that she
was taking. He thinks it's neat. Don't let it go to his head,
she says. Can he let it go to his lips? They kiss. The
timer again. Strange that they want to help Danny, Tony says.
Back in Corinth, he was a jerk, Ally says. He's still a jerk,
Tony says, but he's our jerk. Ally says that she never
thought she'd be doing something nice for Danny. Ally says
she has to tell Tony something about her and Danny.

Danny thinks Jocelyn will get him out at the arrangement.
Danny tells Alex to talk to Mike. Alex sees Mike, and finds
out that Mike is out on bail, and his lawyer tells him not
to leave town. Yes, mamam, Mike says, refusing to speak to
talk to Alex. Alex turns to Danny and says he made a deal,
and Danny's still in jail. Danny thinks Alex is involved
with his case to get in close with Jocelyn.

Jocelyn wants the truth from Sydney. Sydney says that she
got a message...probably from the same person who killed
Jared. Jocelyn says that if she got a message, she better
share the message...befroe she can't. Sydney shows Jocelyn
the robe with blood. Yes, it's blood. Someone broke in here,
did this. And it's probably the same person who killed Jared,
Sydeny says.

Ally tells Tony that she doesn't want him to get the wrong
idea. Back around Christmas and new Year's, they were
flirting. She was lonely, and vunerable. Tony says she and
Danny...How did he know? she asks. It's a small building,
Tony says. One thing lead to another, and ....he knows. It
was a mistake, she says. She just wanted him to know...things
were different with him, he finishes. Everything is different,
she says. We pan to the picture of Carla's legs.

Danny says that he doesn't want Alex's help, doesn't need his
help, and if he comes back, Danny will refuse to see him.

Angie wonders what if she did kill him? She's afraid to sleep
at night. Jacob doesn't think that she did this. He's back now,
Jacob says, and she'll be fine. Jacob wants to talk to some
sleep specialists. Zoey comes in and tells Angie that the
blood sample is not on her desk. Angie says she'll look for
it tomorrow. Zoey leaves. Angie is worried that a vial of
blood is missing.

Jocelyn thinks Sydney might have done it herself, to throw
suspicion off herself. Sydney shows her the note. Sydney
tells Jocelyn that she hired Alex to handle the investigation.
Jocelyn says she already hired another detective. They argue,
but finally Jocelyn agrees to let Sydney hire Alex. Jocelyn
turns to get her briefcase, and Sydney picks up a note near
the door. Jocelyn leaves, and Sydney says "Who are you?"
