Quickie, from memory updates for Tuesday and
Wednesday, mixed together (sorry).

The police take Angie in on suspicion of murder.
Jocelyn accompanies her as her lawyer. Alex tags
along to make sure everything is okay. Angie
thinks she could be the killer. Alex and Jocelyn
yell at her to stop saying that. Angie is
convienced that she is out of control when
sleepwalking. Angie agrees to be fingerprinted,
against the wishes of Alex and Jocelyn, who both
agree that she shouldn't - unless the cops are
arresting her (which they say they aren't - yet).
Angie says she needs to know if her prints are
on the gun. After the printing, she tells ALex
and Jocelyn that she's scared. Alex tries to
convience her one more time to stop telling the
police stuff unless they ask. Doesn't she want to
find the real killer? She just looks like she
thinks she's guilty.

At the agency, the police are taking everyone's
statement. Zoey is saying that everyone has a
motive. Fine, Tony says, we have motive, do we
have means? He asks everyone where they were. Zoey
and Richard were looking for Nick. But, Zoey says,
they split up and were alone for a while...either
of them could have done it. Tony was in church...
alone. Ally was getting take out. She talked to a
couple of people...including that tall one Buck
likes. Molly was out, then she was talking to
Jocelyn. Tony asks Tess who we had already heard was
out walking (she told Buck earlier). Buck says she
was having dinner with him. Later, Tess asks why Buck
said that? Does he think she killed Jared? No, Buck
says, but it's a better alibi than out walking. She
says she was, and she's not sorry that Jared is dead,
but if she had done it she would have made sure he
suffered. She looks at the outline on the floor of
her agency, and says that it looks like he went too
quickly.

Sydney, in her penthouse, is asking Maria if she feels
okay about talking to the police. Maria says she worked
many years for Jared Chase, she's not going to let the
police faze her. Sydney smiles, and dismisses her for
the night, even though Maria offered to screen her calls
(reporters have been calling for comments about Jared's
death). After Maria leaves. Danny comes in, wiping his
hands. Sydney asks where has he been. He says he came
when he heard. So, she killed him, Danny says. No,
Sydney says, she thought he did, and it was stupid to
leave the gun. He didn't, he stuffed it in a dumpster,
Danny says. Then if she didn't, she says, and he
didn't...who did? Where *was* he? Danny remembers his
dad's heart attack, and doesn't answer. Richard comes
up. Danny says he heard the news abotu Jared and came
up to offer his condolences. Danny leaves. Richard
asks how come, earlier in the bar, she said she had
a dinner date with Danny, but when he came up a little
later, there was no Danny, and now there's a Danny?
She avoids the question, and she thinks that he's
suggesting she and Danny were plotting the murder.
She shows him a calendar (July 1st or August 1st) and
says she and Jared were getting a divorce on that day,
so why would she want to murder him? That seems to
placate Richard, who tells her that he loves her, and
he's sorry that he didn't tell her that more often. She
tells him that she loves, him too.

Loraine is with Nick, who's not feeling so good.
She tells him she wants to get some help for him.
He says that if they find out he has booze in his
system, he'll be kicked off the top of the list,
and he *will* die. She cries over him, and puts
him to bed. She lies to Zoey who calls from the
agency and says that he's sleeping, and he is fine.
Later, she goes to his apartment, and she gets
Loarine to tell her that Nick is dying. Zoey
doesn't understand why he would drink. Loraine
says it wasn't his doing. As she's about to explain,
the tea kettle goes off and she leaves. Zoey sits
by Nick and tells him he has to get better, he's
all she has left. Zoey turns and sees Richard there,
who tells her no matter what she says, he'll always
be there for her - as a friend. They hug. Richard
leaves, telling Zoey to give his best to her fater.
After Richard closes the door, she says, he's your
father, too.

Tony and Ally talk about whether Tony will try to
find the real killer, since no one beleives Angie
did it. Ally wants to help. No, Tony says, she can't
work with him. He wants her. She pulls back, she's
not ready to take the relationship to the next level.
She doesn't want to lose his friendship. He says
she'd never lose that. She's not so sure. Tony says
this is weird. They're standing 100 feet from a
murder, and he wants her so bad. He wants her to
spend the night. And int he morning? she asks. He'll
make a geat omlette, Tony says. She needs more. Tony
finally gives up and leaves her alone to think.
