And for Wednesday on "the city"...

Malcolm says that he was expecting Typhany. Well, Ally says,
she got sick, the flu, or something like that. Malcolm says
let's hope that she gets sivk more often. he feels like a
kid on Christmas. Well, she coos, has he been a good boy?
Of course, Malcolm sasy, kissing her neck, but they can
change that. He closes the door.

Tony tries to get to the phone. Damn you, Ally he yells.
In the bar, Molly and Danny talk, and Jacob asks Angie
what's wrong. Angie tells Jacob she just had to deal
with a rape.

What are you doing sitting in the dark? Jared asks.
I told you, darling, Sydney says, I'm waiting for you.
We have some unfinished business to discuss.

Molly and Danny talk about Sydney. She thinks he's
making some really big committments. So? Well, has he
gotten a written agreement from Sydney? No, but he has
her word, and that's good enough for him. He tells her
about his childhood, where things could fall apart easily.
This thing with Syd, he has a shot at making it. She
understands that, but...But what? Just be careful,
she suggets. You have to take some risks, have faith in
yourself. Doesn't she believe in him? She does. What is
this all about? Danny asks. Nothing, forget all about it.
She tells him that she cares about him, that's all. He
cares about her, too. Now, why are they down here fighting
when they could be up stairs, making....up? They weren't
fighting, Molly says. Can they still go up and make up?
They kiss and leave.

Jacob asks if this is the first rape victim she's treated.
Angie says that the victim refuses to talk to anyone. It's
complicated. She shouldn't be telling his this, but she
was raped by her husband.

Jared wants to go to sleep. No, Sydney insists, they are
going to talk about this...about what happened earlier. It
was concentual, normal mariatal relations. It was RAPE,
Sydney says. That's what it's called. Be serious, Jared
says. There is nothing to talk about. What? He won't even
let her appologize? She stands, crossing her arms, and
says she drove him to that desperate measure, didn't she?

Danny decides to go to Molly's place, since his is so
dirty. They talk a little outside the door, then Molly
opens the door, and they start kissing, as we see Tony
in the background, still handcuffed. Excuse me, Tony says,
if you two don't mind, could you help me out of here?

Molly laughs. Danny says that he never figured them for
this kind of kinky stuff. Molly goes off to see if she
can find something. Danny kids him about getting him a
bowl of water and taking him for walks. Molly gets the
handcuffs off and Tony looks at Danny and tells him
he'll be back to deal with him. Then he runs out. Molly
laughs, saying that was weird. Danny says just another
day in the life, and kisses her.

Meanwhile, Ally asks Malcolm if he wants a drink...or
maybe a shower. He just took one. She didn't mean alone,
silly. He likes that idea. She tells him to start the
water, and she'll be right in. He leaves. She ransacks
the room, looking for anything to use against him.
Malcolm comes out and asks what she's doing.

Angie tells Jacob that the women is the last person
anyone would expect to be a victim.

Sydney says she pushed him to it. She can understand;
she said she didn't love him, and she treated him badly.
Jared said they're been married 22 years, if you count
his little vacation. She thinks if they try, they can
still wortk through their troubles. Is that what she
wants? Yes. Come here, he suggests. She moves toward
him. They embrace. He says he loves her, she is his
life. He tries to kiss her, she pulls back. What's
wrong? he asks. I can't; not yet, she wispers.

Angie says she fells so helpless. Jacob sasy that you
can't help someone that does not want help. She needs
counceling, and she should press charges. Jacob suggests
that she let it go. If she worries, she won't get enough
sleep, then she'll sleep walk. She knows. He suggests
that she go upstairs. She scared her. Scared? She was
so cold and calculating.

Sydney says she needs time to get over this. How long?
Jared asks. Well, they have an anniversary coming up in
a couple of weeks, maybe they can take that time to get
to know each other, to appreciate each other. He already
appreciates her, Jared says. He just wants to show her,
the right way this time.

Molly and Danny talk about Tony, and how they should
have left him attached to the stairs. No thanks, Molly
says, she has enough roommates already. Danny tells her
that he put a down payment on a place. How? He got
$30,000 from the bank. How? He just showed them the
letter of introduction from Syd. When's it due back?
Two weeks. TWO? Danny says Syd is good for it, he has
no doubt. This is a perfect location. He knows that
she'll love it.

Sydney tells Jared that it will be worth the wait,
like their honeymoon. That was a wonderful time, he says.
He turns to leave, and tells her that he loves her, and
that dress was always one of his favorites. He leaves the
room. She looks like she's gonna be sick. She rips the
dress off, and calls Danny, in her slip. She leaves a
message on the machine that says "Danny, we have a problem."

Tony asks the Indian (from India) cab driver if the cab
can go any faster. Who'll pay for the ticket? I will! Tony
says. Then we can go very fast, the cab says. Meanwhile,
Malcolm tells Ally that all he wants is for her to get out
of the dress and get on the bed. No more talking!
