Sorry to be gone so long, but two things conspired to
keep me from doing the Tuesday updates: one, the TV
didn't come in good enough to watch, two, the work
load has been terrible here for a little bit. Both
are cooperating today, so I can do the update.

In SoHo today, as it happened:

Jocelyn's dad wants to know what Jocelyn said to
upset her mother. They just talked, Jocelyn says.
He wants to know what she said. She went to talk to
her. About what? About her childhood, Jocelyn says.

In the bar, Alex and Buck talk about Lucy and Jocelyn.
Alex tells Buck that he showed up for a romantic dinner,
and she took a gun out and shot him in the heart. Buck
asks if Alex considered there might be someone else.
Alex says it's possible, he guesses.

Tess runs into Jared in the hallway. So, business went
very well? he asks. Tess thinks that he knows exactly
how her business went. She thinks that she should call
her florist. Doors opened, people practicly genuflexed
when she walked into the office. Jared and Tess go to
the bar to celebrate the two new accounts she signed.
Malcolm comes into the bar. Buck, talking to Alex,
wants to make sure that when Nick packs the bar for his
concert, there is not another bomb. Alex says he and
Tony are working on it, but he thinks that Buck's all
set. Alex goes to talk to Malcolm, who tells Alex he's
waiting for someone. Alex says this won't wait.

Jocelyn's father wonders what's wrong. Is there anything
he can do to help?

Molly and Danny made love, and she's crying. These are
happy tears, she says. Danny says he's made many women
cry, but usually they're throwing shoes at him.

Those Saturday's, when they were together, Jocelyn says.
Yes, her father says, those were special times, their
time together. Where did we go? Where did you take me,
what did we do, and why can't I remember? Jocelyn asks.

You honestly don't remember? No, dad, she says. On
Saturday, he says, we went to the Mets, the zoo...she
says that's what they're suppose to have done, but she
doesn't remember. What does she remember? he asks.
Feeling bad afterwards. What happened? she begs. He's
sorry, princess, he says, it's all his fault.

Jared makes a date with Tess for dinner tomorrow night.
Malcolm says to Alex,at the risk of being rude, he
doesn't like him, he doesn't want to spend time with
him. Well, Alex says, guess they can't drink to their
friendship. But, Alex says, seems once Jared came back,
the bombing, the racial attacks have stopped. Does
Malcolm know why?

Dad says that she felt bad because Danny made her feel
guilty about the special treatment she was getting. No,
she talked to Danny about their childhoods. Well, if
she doesn't remember, couldn't she be right? She doesn't
know. Well, if she talked to Danny, of course Danny
blamed him, her father says. And the therapist's job is
to lay blame, he adds. He just wants to take her pain
away. She wonders if her father really thinks that
it's Danny's jealously. Of course, he says. They hug.

In bed, Danny says that when he was a kid, he was
always getting into trouble. Lots of kids are like that,
Molly says. Even before he got into trouble, his father
was treating him like dirt. Thank God Jocelyn was there,
Danny says. he couldn't have made it without her. Molly
remarks that he really likes her. Yeah, he says. he says
that all his life he's been fueld by negative emotions.
He's just wanted to prove his father wrong. Danny says
that once this coffee bar takes off, they'll take some
time off. They'll go to Aruba. Well, she says just leave
some time for her acting. She got a call back for NYPD
Blue. She has to leave to run her line, she says He
offers to help her, and to go to the audition with her,
as her acting coach. The audition is at 10am, she says.
His meeting with Sydney is in the afternoon. This is
perfect, he says. Is he sure he wants to do this? Let
him prove it, as he rolls over and kisses her.

Malcolm says is he insinuating that Jared and he were
involved with what went on here at the bar? Alex says
if he had evidence to that effect, Jared would be behind
bars and and Malcolm would be drinking through a straw.
Malcolm thinks this is all because Alex is upset about
his past with Jocelyn. Malcolm gets up, and Alex bumps
into him. Alex appologizes for being so clumsy. Malcolm
leaves, and Alex reads the appointment book he lifted
off Malcolm.

Tess tells Buck that she has a date with Jared tomorrow.

Malcolm tells Jared that they have to work fast, Alex
Masters is on to them. Jared says the detective is no
threat, and if he becoems one, he'll be eliminated.
What about Tess? Malcolm asks. Did she take the bait?
Hook line and sinker, Jared says. They're having
dinner tomorrow. He kinda feels sorry for Tess, in a
way. she thinks all this is due to her feminine wilds.

Danny sees Molly out and then answers the phone. It's
Sydney, telling Danny about their 8am meeting. He says
okay. He hangs up and says that'll give him enough
time to get back for Molly.

Jocelyn remembers, as a young girl, having her father
asking if she's ready to go. Her mother says she doesn't
want to go. Her father tells her mother to stay out of
it. She says Jocelyn doesn't want to go. He tells her
to go have more gin, and to stay out of this. He asks
if Jocelyn is ready. Her mother tells her to tell him
what Jocelyn told her. He hits her mother. She falls
down, sobbing. He turns to Joceyln and says that her
mother is sick. He tells her that it's time to go.
Back in the present, Jocelyn says it wasn't Danny, it
was you, dad. Why?
