Hi everyone!

This is it <sob>, my last City update. After watching today's show, I
have no idea how they will manage to wrap it all up in 30 minutes. I
wish it could go on forever, I'm really going to miss The City. Before I
get too sentimental about it:-(, here we go with the final Thursday
update....

CARLA'S LAST CHANCE
Location: Tony's apartment

Carla gets off the elevator and walks over to the apartment door, which
is partially open. Inside, she sees Tony stuffing clothes into a bag and
asks what he is doing. Tony's packing, he's moving out and going as far
away from Carla as he can possibly get.

You hate me, don't you, Carla asks. She knows what she and Danny did was
terrible... "Terrible doesn't even begin to describe it", Tony replies
angrily. Doesn't he think that they can get past it, that there's still
something between them, she asks hopefully. Tony's not even going to
dignify that with an answer, he'll send for the rest of his stuff later.
He grabs his bag and heads for the door. Carla grabs his arm and begs
him to hear her out.

As far as Tony is concerned, they have nothing more to say to each
other. Carla explains that what she did, she did out of love, she didn't
want to lose him. Lose him, she never had him, Tony tells her. Not only
is the baby not his, but they didn't even sleep together. He finally
gets her to admit out loud that they never slept together.

Tony thanks Carla for finally admiting it. "I am so sorry", Carla tries
to tell him. Tony's sorry too, he's sorry that the baby is going to have
her for a mother. "I love this baby, I'm going to be a wonderful
mother", she insists. Tony prays that that is true, he tells her, and
walks out the door. Carla shuts the door. She touches her stomach and
tells the baby that it is true, that she loves the baby so much and will
take good care of it. "You're all I have now", she tells the baby.
There's a knock at the door, but it's not Tony coming back, it's Ally.
The two of them just stare at each other.

REUNITED
Location: Richard's apartment

Richard and Zoey are in bed together and Richard is telling her that was
amazing, that the best part of breaking up is making up. They would have
made up a lot sooner if he had told her about paying the taxes on the
building. He thought about it, but she was always complaining how much
she hated money and how she didn't want to be beholden to anyone. She
doesn't hate money, just what it does to some people, she explains.
They kiss...

Zoey's head appears from under the covers, it's down by Richard's feet.
"I have such an appetite", she exclaims. "I'll second that", Richard
agrees. She needs food, Zoey complains as she gets out of bed and puts
on a bathrobe. Richard reminds her of the last time they did this, she
ordered from just about every restaurant in the neighborhood. But now he
can probably afford to buy out all those restaurants. She's high
maintenance, but a good investment. Richard comments that she keeps
bringing up money, investments. He hopes that the fact that he's rich
now won't get in the way of their relationship. Money doesn't have to be
the root of all evil, they can do something good with it, he tells her.
He suggests maybe they could set up a charity for homeless children and
Zoey could run it. Zoey likes that idea. Or she could go back to school,
or she could start a show to compete with Hotline and be the next Oprah.
"In your dreams", says Zoey. It doesn't have to be dreams anymore,
Richard reminds her. Zoey still wants to keep her promise to herself to
go and see the world. But..., she thinks she needs a very special
partner to see it with. Richard supposes this partner will be dragged
with her wherever she goes. He guesses that one of the first places she
probably wants to go is to see the Loch Ness monster. Zoey agrees, but
if they don't see the Loch Ness monster, they could always go down to
London and see the other monster. "Is that any way to talk about a woman
who could one day be your mother-in-law?", Richard asks. Zoey is
shocked, "Did you just ask me to marry you?"

Richard doesn't think that there's any need for them to rush into
marriage and they've just gotten back together again. Zoey agrees with
Richard, to his surprise. Richard may propose to her in the near future
and he'll want to pull out all the stops, he explains. Zoey, being Zoey,
wants a marching band and a plane to write her name in the clouds. They
kiss. Richard grabs the Chinese menu and looks at. He comments that he
if asked her to marry him now, she probably wouldn't say yes anyway.
"Yes, I would!!", Zoey mouths silently, bouncing up and down on the
couch.

SPECIAL DELIVERY
Starting Location: Nick and Buck's apartment

Lorrraine is sitting on the couch and Nick brings her over a hot cup of
tea. He still thinks he should have brought her back to her own place to
rest. Lorraine didn't want to go there, she needs to track down Angie
and was hoping she'd be here in the building. Nick tells her to take a
rest while he goes and takes a shower. After he leaves, Lorraine
remembers telling Angie that something bad was going to happen in the
alley. Lorraine slowly gets off the couch and heads for the phone.

Downstairs in the bar, Jacob is worried because he can't find Angie,
they were supposed to meet there a half an hour ago. The phone rings and
Buck answers. It's Lorraine calling to see if Angie is down in the bar.
No, Buck tells her, but Jacob is here. Jacob takes the phone and
Lorraine starts to explain about Angie visiting her in the hospital and
the alley. Jacob tells her to hold on, he'll be right up. Outside, we
see Angie walking down a street looking for the signs that Lorraine had
mentioned. She spots the store with the red neon "Hot Dog" sign in the
window. She continues walking down the street and remembers Lorraine
saying there's a horse, like a carousel horse, and also a yellow
blinking light. She comes to the entrance of an alley which is closed
off by tall metal bars. She looks down the long alley, but then walks
away. As she does, we are able to see a carousel horse through the bars.

Jacob is questioning Lorraine, tell me *everything* you told Angie
earlier. Nick comes out in his bathrobe to see what's going on. Lorraine
explains to both of them she told Angie about the vision and Angie
agreed to go look for the alley. Someone is in danger in the alley and
needs help. Did it ever occur to Lorraine that Angie might be the one in
danger, Jacob asks. She doesn't know specifically where the alley is,
but there's a store with a big red neon "Hot dog" sign. Nick recognizes
the store and it's on Lafayette Street. Lorraine thinks he must be
right, she remembered a sign beginning with the letter "L". Jacob
quickly leaves to look for Angie, he doesn't have time to wait until
Nick gets dressed. Lorriane apologizes to Nick, but he says it's
alright. If she's having premonitions, there's a reason for it, Nick
tells her and gives her a hug. He just hopes Angie's alright. Back at
the alley, Angie goes back for another look. She's about to walk away
again when she spots the carousel horse in the corner of the alley.

Tess comes in through the front door of the building and finds Buck
standing by the mailboxes. He's happy because he just got his passport
and can take her on a European honeymoon. Tess tells him not to forget
she'll be busy singing backup on the honeymoon, too. Jacob gets out of
the elevator and rushes by them, saying that he's going to find Angie,
she could be in trouble. What kind of trouble, Buck asks as he and Tess
follow Jacob out the front door. In the alley, Angie opens the gate and
slowly walks down the alley. She notices the blinking yellow light, it's
on one of those wooden construction barriers. As she stands there, she
hears a brief sound. "Is somebody there?", she calls out.

Jacob, Buck and Tess arrive in a cab right outside the alley and Jacob
pays the driver to wait for them. Jacob notices the carousel horse in
the alley right away. They hear a noise and head down the alley, calling
Angie's name. They find Angie at the end of the alley by a dumpster. She
is holding a baby in her arms. She found it in the dumpster, someone
just left the baby there to die. Back at Nick's, Lorraine suddenly
thinks of the name Cassandra, the name Jacob and Angie picked out for
their baby. She sees the name on a sign in the alley. Angie wants to get
the baby to the hospital to be sure that she's OK. They walk back to the
cab which is waiting at the end of the alley. As they reach the end, the
camera pans over to the wall and we see the sign on it..... "Cassandra's
Deliveries".

That's it for today, only one more to go...
