Today in "the city":

At the agency, Molly says there is something she needs to ask.
Ally says she won't bite. Molly hems and haws and tells Ally
that Danny asked her for a date. Is that okay with Ally?

Richard says hello to Malcolm, who is having tea with Sydney
at her place. Richard says he is going to London, will Sydney
miss him? Of course, she coos. Malcolm wants to know why he
is here at this unGodly hour. She tells Malcolm that Jared
has agreed to a meeting. An in-the-flesh meeting? Malcolm
asks. Yes, really, Sydney says. Are you sure? Malcolm asks.
Sydney says she'd never pretend to speak for Jared.

At the clinic, Frankie brings a copy of the SoHo Voice. His
mother gets attacked, he says, and he has to read it in the
paper!

At the bar, a kid comes in and asks Buck how the doctor lady
is. Buck recognizes him as one of the kids from last night.

Buck escorts the kid out of the bar. Nick tells Richard he
lied to him. Richard says she did have a meeting. Well, Nick
says, she had one with *him*, and Richard knows it.

Malcolm leaves. Samuel says that should be some meting:
Malcolm's people, Sydney, and a jar of ashes, and she doesn't
even have that. Sydney says she's just buying some time until
Alex can get something on Malcolm. The computer beeps, and
I can't read what it says (HELP?).

Ally says she is not Molly's mother, she's not Danny's mother.
She asks Molly if she's sure that she wants to go out with
Danny? What? Molly asks, does he have a criminal record?
Ally bites her nails. She tells Molly to be careful. Molly
says the world is full of men, but friends are harder to find.
Ally admits she misses Steffi.

Azure tells Bernardo about her date with the guy. She says
she would have had more fun with him at the graffiti show.
He says he forgot about that. She says she's sorry.

Frankie says he's not a kid, they don't have to protect him
from the bad news. Angie plays it down. Buck bursts in with
the kid. This is one of the kids from last night, Buck says.

Frankie attacks the kid. Angie tells Frankie to let the kid
talk. He says they drove in from Jersey. They never wanted
to make trouble, they just wanted to have fun. This is your
idea of fun? Buck asks. No, he didn't want to do it, but
they were drunk, and he couldn't stop the other guys. He's
sorry. Not as sorry as he's gonna be, Jacob says.

Azure tells Bernardo that she's uncomfortable with the
attention. It's just not "her". She says when she's with
him, she can be herself, and not worry about using the right
words, or the right fork. It's confortable. She'd get tired
of hot dogs, Bernardo says. Not likely, she loves then,
Azure says.

Ally tells Molly that she's getting homesick. She says that
Corinth is familiar, her grandmother is there. Molly says
she can make new friends here. Ally tells her about having
slumber parties when she was younger. There was always one
new girl, and by the morning, you'd be friends. Sometimes
enemies, but usually buddies. So, let's have a slumber
party, Molly suggests.

Sydney gets into a chat (in UNIX words: talk) with the
message sender. (Can anyone see what they typed?)

Richard says that Sydney did have a meeting. When he asked
her how the meeting went, she mentioned an over-all
dissapointment. Richard says he did not know he was suppose
to meet Nick. Samuel comes to get Richard. Nick tells
Richard that he believes he did not know about their meeting.

Sydney is talkign to a "computer expert" on the phone and
says that she was on the computer and then it went blank.
It's not impossible, she says into the phone, it just
happened. Well, she screams, find another line of WORK! She
slams down the phone. Nick knocks on the door. Who's there?
she calls out. Me, Nick says. She doesn't know anyone by
that name, she says. She doesn't want to let him in, he
insists that he won't go away.

What's wrong with a slumber party? Molly asks. Nothing, if
you're 12. So, we won't call it a slumber party. What do
you do at one of these? Molly asks. Wear pajamas, Ally says,
do each other's nails, and hair, and talk about boys...men.
Molly talks her into it. When? Molly asks. Tonight, Ally says,
before she has time to think about it.

The kid says that he will clean up the place, what more do
they want? Angie asks what his name is. She tells him that
she knows she can't change hundreds of years of history, and
she won't punish him for being a fool. But, she will not let
Kayla be in the middle of this. She will not press charges,
if he'll clean up this place. He leaves. Frankie says that
they'll never see him again. Angie says she wants this to
stop. She wants it to stop *now*.

Malcolm tells the mystery man who most of us agree is
probably Jared that he has no idea what Sydney is up to.
She promised him a face-to-face meeting with Jared. The
mystery man (Jared) says he'd like to be at that meeting,
too. He asks Malcolm how the eviction is going. Malcolm
says he thinks she's put that on hold. The mystery man
wants those people out. He hangs up the phone and looks
at the paper (the one with Angie and the graffati picture).
He thinks he has the way to do it.

Sydney lets Nick in.

Sorry for any confusion this may have caused. And thanks to Kristen for the
heads-up. Well, I'll still stick with my hanger...I wish she'd listen to
him.
