Unaware that Jake has planned a surprise trip for her,
Vicky prepares to give her new husband the thrill of his life
by bringing the one and only Mick Jagger into their very
own living room. As Steven and Kirkland tear into their
Christmas presents, Jake phones Nick to let him know he's
been promoted to full time reporter. A beaming Sofia tells
Felicia she's engaged. Tyrone cautions a puzzled Toni that
there can never be anything between them. Rain is delighted
to find her special doll under Gary and Josie's Christmas
tree. Tomas suggests to Sofia that if Nick really loved her
he would never leave her alone on the holiday. Displaying
her heirloom engagement ring, Sofia reminds her disgruntled
roommate how hard Nick is working to make all their
dreams come true. Hurt when Toni admits she wants
Tyrone, Chris accuses her of playing him for a sucker and
stalks out of the Burrell house. Jake and Vicky continue to
drop hints about the gifts they're giving one another. When
his bride insists that her surprise has to take place at ten
o'clock, Jake reluctantly agrees to postpone his present.
Cass reminds Gary that final adoption of Rain may prove
problematic unless they can find the child's grandmother in
time. Tomas moves out of Sofia's place. Rejecting Toni's
advances, Tyrone urges her to reconcile with Chris. Vicky
is dismayed to learn that Mick Jagger left for London in the
first class seat Jake was just forced to cancel. Colleen
Wolfe suddenly shows up on Gary's doorstep.
