Some things I'm Not Totally Clear On:

1. Why Nick is being such a total jerk with Sofia (at first).

2. Why it has taken Matt so long to get a clue.
3. Why Vicky has let Grant back in to her life.
4. Why so many short-term characters are named "Miller".
5. Why haven't they changed Kirkland's name (he's named after

     Justinsane).

Nevertheless: Here goes:

Carlino's: Nick is still gritching on Sofia for being in the
unopened restaurant. She refuses to explain who she is or why
she is there, except that she has no other place to go. Nick
offers to take her to a shelter, but she refuses and runs
outside. Tomas questions Nick about what is going on, but Sofia
sais everying is OK. Nick is very curious about where Sofia
knows Joe from. She gives him a line about Joe offering her a
job. Nick offers to take Sofia home to his place.

Farm: Michael is listening to 60s music and remembering the
night Donna and he did the horizontal mambo.

Sofia and Nick arrive. Michael is not completely
comfortable with Sofia staying without laying the ground rules
"separate rooms". Nick thinks that's pretty funny considering
what Michael and Donna did... She introduces herself as "Sofia
Teresa Tucci". [Tucci...has a familiar ring. Is this an inside
"shot" at Christine?]
Michael leaves them alone, and Nick tells her about his
relationship with Michael. She's impressed, but says she hates
being told what to do.
Nick is full of admiration for Jake. He says he wants to be
just like him. All the money he needs, and just take what he
wants.

Harbor Club: Donna is trying desperately to cover after Cecile
told Matt that Donna was at the Cory's when she was supposedly
lying beside her car in a ditch. Matt is not buying her story
that Cecile is lying, since Cecile has no reason to lie, and the
story has too many holes in the first place.

Donna follows Cecile into the ladie's room in order to
convince her to retract her story. Cecile refuses, so Donna and
she indulge in a little catfight, with both of them being sloshed
by the contents of a huge rose bowl.

Cass & Frankie are enjoying their dinner, getting close
again.

Hospital: Morgan is having a busy night at the hospital. He's
plainly jealous of Andrew and Courtney, but won't admit it.

Courtney says Andrew is taking her out for a romantic dinner.
Maggie hopes to make Tomas jealous by telling him of her
dinner with the Grand Duchess Olga, who is very rich and who has
a nephew looking for an American wife. Tomas wonders why he
should care. She totally ruined his life, made him a cheat and a
liar, and there's nothing he can do about it. Stay out of my
life, he tells her.
Tomas visits 'the vampire' to return the keys to his
"subterranean chamber". No one must know he's a vampire, he
tells Tomas. Tomas is creeped out.
A man comes in the emergency with an injured hand. His name
is "AJ Miller". [No doubt the the Dreaded Andrew.] He leaves
without treatment. Obviously he just wanted a look at Morgan,
and was faking.

Vicky, Grant & Kirkland arrive. Grant is in a panic about
Kirkland's fever. Naturally, Grant doubts Morgan's word as a
doctor, but Vicky calms him down. Vicky realizes that she is not
feeling well herself. [God save her from the Nanny-Grunt].

Rita asks Morgan to meet with her to discuss Ben Michael's
case and John's suspension, "someplace quiet". =|:o

Harbour Club: Donna has a coupla shots for courage to face
Matthew. Maggie helps Cecile dry off in the ladie's room.

Donna sings a song. Montage of scenes of Michael, Nick &
Sofia, Grant & Vicky (AUGHHH). She's got a great voice and the
song is sweet, but Matt is unimpressed.

Meanwhile the Grand Duchess wants to know if Maggie is a
virgin and "fertile". Maggi simply gawks, and Cecile avoids the
issue by saying Maggie is what Maximillion is looking for in a
wife.
Cass is angry about Cecile's obvious attempt to engage him
under false pretenses. He confronts Cecile about putting Maggie
on the auction block. The Countess is eyeing Maggie like a
"piece of pat/e", he says.

Morgan and Rita arrive. Rita says she wants to help John
return to Bay City General. What does John want, she asks?

Morgan is suspicious of her motives, and says it is not his place

to tell her.
Just then, Courtney arrives with AJ Miller. Yup, he's

Andrew. He gives Morgan a REALLY smug and nasty look.

Vicky's: Grant reviews his life, saying that he's "fallen pretty
far" and that he'd like to take back all he's done, but he can't.

He regrets losing her, most of all. He'd like to do better.

Vicky says she hasn't been perfect, either. She feels pretty
sick with the flu.

Grant insists on taking care of her while she's sick.

The Farm: Matt arrives and tells Michael he knows what happened
that night [he doesn't really, he's just fishing]. Michael looks
surprised.

Harbour Club: Donna is troubled--the jig is up, she fears. Over
a reprise of her song, we see:

Vicky's: Vicky is sleeping and Grant covers her with a blanky.

He goes to kiss her forehead, but doesn't. FREEZE *wretch*
FRAME.

Boy, I really can't put my finger on it, but it seemed really
WEIRD in Bay City today.
