November 10
Shane comes to see Lila and says he has to tell her something. Shane tells
Lila she deserved better and that it was his fault that their marriage
failed. Lila asks him why he is saying this now and asks if this is about
Matt Cory. Shane
says it isn't about Matt it's about him (Shane) and how he failed her. Lila
asks him why he is doing this, it sounds like he is saying goodbye. Shane
says he just wanted to apologize and says he is not leaving town. Lila tells
Shane she
knows something is wrong and asks what it is. Shane says nothing, but he
could use some of his other medical journals. Lila asks Shane if he is sick,
but he says no it's for a patient of his. Shane leaves but Lila doesn't
believe what Shane told her and decides to read through Shane's old journals
from El Salvadore.

Shane goes to the hospital and begins to dictate notes to himself. Lila
shows up with his journal from El Salvadore and tells him to try page 20.
Lila asks Shane if he is the patient and he says yes. Shane tells Lila he's
going to fight this and he's going to see a specialist in Chicago tomorrow.
Shane asks Lila not to tell anybody about this. Lila agrees, but she says
she is going to Chicago with him. Later Shane gives himself an experimental
drug while Lila packs her things.

At the Lucky Lady, Tyrone, Etta Mae, and Toni are all having dinner and Etta
Mae toasts to Tyrone's mother Irene. Etta Mae and Tyrone talk about the key
that Irene left to them with a note that read "Lost and Found." Tyrone said
that his mother used to wear the key on her charm bracelet but he didn't
know what it was for, other than her comment that it was to a door which
should remain locked. Toni and Tyrone dance to a song that brings back old
memories for Etta Mae. Suddenly Toni spots a picture on the wall of her
mother long long ago. Toni asks who the man she is with and she says it's
just a man she knew before she met Toni's dad. Etta Mae then recalls the
night the
picture was taken, and it doesn't look like it's a found memory. Chris
doesn't show up, which worries Toni. EttaMae tells Tyrone that she's so glad
Toni has Chris, she just wishes Tyrone had someone. Toni tells Etta Mae that the
manager of the Lucky Lady wanted Etta Mae to have the picture of her, but
Etta Mae becomes upset and leaves. Toni tells Tyrone she's worried about her
mom but Tyrone says she's probably just missing his mom. Toni doesn't
understand why her mom didn't want this picture. A man shows up who wanted
to meet Etta Mae, his father used to own the club. In the meantime the man
offers to take a picture of Toni and Tyrone, a picture just like the one of
Etta Mae and "Arnie Willis" (the man in the picture with her).

At the hospital someone is interviewing Matt and Amanda about what happened.
After the reporter leaves Matt tells Amanda that he's positive that
Alexander has Rachel safe somewhere. Paulina shows up and sees Carl trying
to leave his room. Paulina tells Carl that he must get back in bed and Carl
tells Paulina that Rachel was in the church when it blew up, the last words
she said was "save yourself." Paulina tells Amanda and Matt to get out so
she can
handle Carl. Matt leaves, but Amanda doesn't. Paulina tells Carl that they
haven't found Rachel so maybe she escaped as well, but Carl is positive that
Rachel was in the church. Paulina and Amanda argue and Amanda says it was
all her fault, she hurt Rachel. Paulina tells Carl she's going to sign him
out and take him back to the house. Carl starts hallucinating that Rachel
may be home but Amanda doesn't want to go home. Paulina tells Amanda that
she has to pull together and take Carl home because she (Paulina) needs to
go see Joe.

Matt goes to see Joe and yells at him for not doing more to save Rachel and
that he blew it. Joe yells at Matt and tells him he didn't bring Alexander
Nikos to town and he didn't start this feud. Joe lets Matt have it and Matt
apologizes for being out of line. Suddenly Joe gets a call that Alexander's
plane left Bay City a half hour after the explosion, but there is no flight
plan so they have no idea where he could be headed. Matt says he will find
where Nikos is but Joe tells him to let them handle this. Joe gets another
call, this time from Cass. Joe wants to know if Alexander has contacted
Felicia, but Felicia is in with the surgeon but Cass says he'll ask Felicia
later. Joe tells Cass that Alexander may be charged with the murder of
Rachel and Cass asks Joe to make sure nobody from the
department calls Felicia and tells her this, it could jeopardize Felicia's
health. Cass calls back and tells Joe that Felicia hasn't heard back from
Alexander, but she believes Alexander will bring Rachel back home. Joe
thinks that
Alexander's original plan fell apart and he fled Bay City. Joe tells Matt
that a piece of torn clothing was found among the church ruins, and they
believe it is Rachel's.

Matt goes to see Lila, who is packing for her trip. Lila asks Matt what
happened to him and he says he doesn't want
to be alone. Lila says she has to leave and asks what happened. Matt says
his mom may be dead and Lila comforts
him.

Paulina shows up at the office to see Joe, she says she needs him. Joe tells
Paulina that he's very proud of her and
tells her she is keeping this family (the Corys) together.

At the Cory Mansion Amanda offers Carl a drink. Carl continues to ramble
about Rachel when Paulina and Joe
show up. Carl says Rachel must come back, or he can't live.

Meanwhile Rachel is lying unconscious at a clock tower where Alexander is
watching over her. Alexander places a
rose in her hands and says "Rest in Peace."
