A fantabulous episode!

*Cass runs to Laurie's side at the police station.
*Frankie and Joe finds the smoking gun implicating her.
*Vicky prepares for confronting Justinsane
*Sister Psycho puts her plans into motion
*Matt Asks More Questions as Donna's Alibi Begins to Crumble

At the Detective Agency:

Cass comes in doing a Sam Spade routine, romancing Frankie and gives her

a very exclusive bottle of French perfume she originally found when on

their honeymoon. All is going well, when Cass finds a message on the

desk that Laurie called him. Cass blames Frankie for not telling him

right away and calls the police station and talks to a very frightened

Laurie. He promises to get to the station ASAP. He and Frankie argue.

Cass is being an ASS and Frankie says she'll come to the station with him

and he snaps NO! After Cass storms out, Frankie slams the bottle of

perfume against the door, busting it and spreading the scent everywhere.

(Having broken a bottle of cologne once, let me tell you more is not

better!)

Frankie realizes that she may have evidence implicating Laurie and calls

Joe Carlino at the police station. He drops by to see the invite with

the X on it; hardly evidence they both agree, but they decide to search

her apartment again.

Frankie admits feeling jealous over Laurie, and conflicted over going to

the apartment with Joe to search for evidence.

At the Police Station:

Captain Babe, er... Captain Gabe is irritated @ Gary Sinclair for

following Josie to Laurie Michaels' apartment. Warns him not to go off

on his own again. Gabe begins playing good cop to Joe's bad cop by

trying a sympathetic approach with Laurie.

Cass arrives and asks the police what the charge is brought against his

client. Gabe tells him that Laurie is being held as a possible suspect

in the bomb threats to the hospital gala. Cass says the evidence is

circumstantial at best. "It's a stretch folks." An irritated Cass asks

to see his client "before she dies of old age."

Laurie is relieved to see Cass. She denies involvement in the bomb

threats. (Her nose begins to grow). "Cass I have always been honest

with you." (more nose growth). "I don't understand how this could

happen. Why are they accusing me of these bomb threats?" (Duh, could it

be because your GUILTY AS SIN??!!). Cass mentions that there is

circumstantial evidence and starts to ask questions causing Laurie to

freak and accuse him of being against her. She starts to cry and Cass

tells her that he is not just her lawyer, he is her friend and wants them

to be prepared.

Meanwhile, a lot of commotion is happening in the main area of the police

station Captain McNamara and Dana Kramer talk about Laurie Michaels

being only a suspect at this point and Dana tells Gabe that they will

need a lot more evidence to convict.

Gary and Josie pow-wow and talk about coming out as fraternizing police

officers. They try to get Gabe's attention but there is so much

pandemonium going on that they gave up for now.

In the interrogation room Laurie tells Cass that she is telling him the

truth. Laurie starts to suggest that Josie planted evidence to set her

up because Josie is John Hudson's step-daughter and John has a grudge

against the hospital and is probably the one making the threats.

"I'm an innocent victim - just like Ben...I wouldn't lie to you (what's

with that growing nose?) I respect you too much and I need you to

believe me. Can you? Will you?"

Laurie admits to being angry but still denies sending threats. Still

sad, still angry, but not that far gone. "Cass I would never

deliberately hurt anyone."

At the Cory Mansion:

Vicky asks Rachel for Carl's gun. Rachel refuses, warning Vicky that

confronting Justine is dangerous. "Think of your children Vicky!" Vicky

says that's who she is thinking of. She reminds Rachel that the gala is

for the Ryan Harrison Memorial Wing is tonite and when Justine finds out

about it, she will be there and something horrible is going to happen.

Rachel doesn't think Justine will show up (get a grip Rachel...you are

smarter than that!). She thinks Justine will be intimidated by all the

police there. "She's nuts. She's not stupid Vicky." Rachel reminds

Vicky that Jake is there to help her and that she should turn to him

rather than taking Justine on.

"I'm going to fight back this time" Vicky declares. Rachel tells Vicky

that seeking revenge is stooping down to Justine's level and to think

what Ryan would want her to do: protect her children. Vicky insists that

everything she is doing is in order to protect her chidren. The phone rings.

As Rachel takes the call, Vicky finds Carl's gun and sneaks away from the

mansion. Jake comes in and suddenly realizes that he's been stiffed by

Vicky who slid away while no one was looking.

At Vicky's Place:

Psycho Sister Justine uses Steven's toy truck to plant a bomb. "I should

think this gala is going to be a real blast!" chuckles Justine. She

hears Bridget kicking at the closet door and says "Bridget, Bridget,

Bridget, you are only going to wear yourself out you know."

Justinsane then listens to the answering machine and hears Donna's

message about Kirk being at the hospital with them. She vows to find

Kirkland and promises him they will be together.

More pounding by Bridget. Justinsane is in top form here.
"Knock! Knock! Who's There?" She opens the closet door. "Why it's

Bridget!" She tells Bridget that she has good news and bad news. The

good news is that Donna has make it simple for her to implement her

palns. The Bad news is that Bridget is making way too much noise.

"You should be happy to know I've decided not to kill you. There! Now.

Don't you feel ever so much better? BUt I do need someone who can attend

all these funerals don't you see?"

Justinsane begins talking to the little truck and places it in a shopping

bag. Bridget starts kicking the door again, so Justinsane cloroforms

her and hears Jake knocking on the door and yelling, and decides to hide

in the closet, just as Jake comes in. Vicky is entering behind him and

she scares the bejezus out of him. He confronts her about taking on Justine.

Vicky refuses to go to Lasiter. She reminds Jake that she has a gun.

Jake responds: "Okay tex, you got a pistol! SHE GOT IN A FIGHT WITH A

TRAIN AND *WON*! Jake reminds her. Vicky finally is able to convince

Jake that she has to attend the gala but that she will go to Lassiter

once the benefit is over. Jake convinces her to hand over the gun. They

go to choose something kewl for Vicky to wear to the gala, as Justinsane

sneaks out of the house.

Vicky, looking hot in black, hugs Jake and tells him to never stop being

her friend. Vicky notices that her phone is off the hook and wonders

where Bridget is. She get's a funny feeling. The phone rings and it is

Donna telling Vicky that she and the kids are at Bay City General.

At Laurie Michaels' Place:

Frankie and Joe take one look and realize just how depressed Laurie must

be, and how deep her grief is. Frankie feels bad for thinking unkind

thoughts earlier about Laurie. They eventually find a voice processor

that was used for the threats and they head off to the police station

with the evidence.

At Bay City General:

Donna and Matt sit in the waiting room for the doctor to come in a report

on the results of Steven's tests. He does, the tests are inconclusive.

Will need to do more to see if it's strep (Why don't they just give him a

cautionary shot and send them on their way?). Donna takes Steven to the

gift shop. Matt starts grilling Michael about the supposed guy who

wouldn't help Donna use the phone the night of the accident. Michael

tries to make up something quick about not knowing the guy. (Michael's

nose beings to grow). Donna returns and Michael tries to signal her that

Matt is asking questions.

Lab results are going to be delayed. Steven seems to feel better.

Matt takes Kirk in pediatrics to rest. Michael warns Donna that she has

to do damage control FAST. Matt is asking questions.

When Matt returns, Donna tries to get him to forget about the details of

the night. She tells Matt that she wants to get on with their lives and

not re-live it.

Steven is in the hallway of the hospital running around when he sees a

toy truck that rolls into a room. He follows it and comes in contact

with Sister Psycho. "Who are you?" asks Steven. "I'm a holy lady and

I've been praying for you, are you feeling better?" Justinsane asks. She

asks about Kirkland and Steven tells her that he is sleeping in

pediatrics (well, she has to pronounce it).

Justinsane entices Steven to take the truck after setting the bomb

timer. "There now," she grows. "It's all set to go!"
