Sorry this is late. I was pretty much under the weather yesterday...

* The newlyweds celebrate their marriage.
* A grieving father refuses to leave the sight of his son's shooting.
* Rachel has a hard time coping with memories.
* Trouble stirs up the Cory mansion.
* Cecile connives to involve Maggie's friends in some sort of intrigue.
* Vicky's on to Grant and plans to find out what's up.
* A presumed mother is found alive in Manitoba.
* More evildoing planned for residents in Bay City.

Michael/Nick in the Stables

Nick confronts Michael about what's upsetting him. Michael blames too

much work. Nick knows better and says "it's Donna isn't it?" Michael

says he's reacting to their history. He is feeling guilty about doing

the horizontal tango with Donna on her wedding night.

Nick can't believe his ears when Michael says he set up the hospital

wedding for Donna and Matt. Michael says he was the best man and then

starts pathetically flashbacking to his early days in the barn with

Donna, when he was the Love stable boy.

Donna/Matt in the Bridal Suite

It is the next morning after the wedding. Donna is moaning softly as

Matt plants loving kisses on her. Suddenly she wakes up and realizes

she's in bed with Matt and is momentarily unsettled and shocked. (She

must have been dreaming about Michael, that bad girl). Donna and Matt

kiss and Matt asks her if being married feels "different" to her. She

says she hopes it's better. Matt exclaims that it isn't an affair

anymore. It's for keeps. Matt apologizes for not having a bigger

wedding and hurting her. Donna says

"darling, you've done a lot of things to me last night, but hurting me

wasn't one of them."

Donna tells Matthew that all she wanted is him, the size of their wedding

didn't matter. She is glad there are no more postponments. They then

put on their wedding rings which Matt had secretly picked up.

Donna says "I love you Matthew Cory" and they kiss passionately. Matt

says "I want to tell everybody" and Donna gets up in a big hurry and

starts getting addressed saying she agrees. They must tell family and

friends now. Matt is slightly puzzled.

Rachel/Cecile at the Cory Mansion

Rachel is frantically trying to find Carl. Cecile is oblivious to her

emotional state, complaining about how dreadful the cappichino is.

Rachel instructs Cecile to tell Carl that Rachel is looking for him, if

Cecile sees him. Rachel leaves, and Cecile joings Maggie and her friends

in the living room.

Cecile starts talking about "drop dead" models she knows. Maggie's

friends are enthralled with her. Cecile continues to charm Maggie's

friends and starts showing them photos of models in GQ magazine that she

supposedly knows. Maggie pouts (So what's new?)

Cecile continues to "pal" around with the girls offering to introduce

them to Maximillion, a hot piece of eye candy. Cecile says he is coming

soon and that the girls will all be on her "A" list and get to meet him.

The girls are all excited. Maggie grouses about being late for class.

They all get up and leave (after realizing that they are late). Cecile

tells Maggie that she might be late too. Maggie confronts Cecile for

leaving her out of the discussion on meeting Maximillion. She reminds

Maggie that she is pining over two greek gods: Nick and Tomas. Maggie

says she doesn't care about them and that she wants to meet a new guy.

Cecile apologizes for leaving her out and promises she will meet him

too. Maggie leaves for the library. Cecile calls a mystery person and

says "Yes dahling, it's moi. Everything is going swimmingly. All is

planned."

At the Train trestle: Rachel locates Carl

Rachel walks up to Carl and says "you've been here all night!"

Carl says he intended to come home, but fell asleep at the trestle

Rachel says Carl could have frozen to death. She begs him to come home

with her.

Carl starts talking about the police. "They blame it all on

Justine...Idiots!" Carl starts coughing, obviously getting sick but

still refuses to go home. Carl tells Rachel to leave her be. Rachel

says this has got to stop. He can't keep this up much longer! Carl

still blames Grant for killing Ryan andobsesses about possibly finding

some evidence at the trestle. Rachel asks him if he cares about them.

He says she knows the answer. Rachel disagrees and reminds him he is

gone for all hours and she is being shut out because of his obsession.

Rachel reminds Carl that whether or not Grant pulled the trigger, it was

Justine who came to Bay City and started the whole situation. Carl,

meanwhile, is adament that this has nothing to do with Justine. Rachel

responds that it has *everything* to do with Justine. She says that Carl

has got to let Ryan go. He responds that he doesn't know how. Rachel

tells Carl that she loves him but won't stand by and watch him kill

himself. She tells him she can't go on like this.

Carl apologizes. Carl agrees to go home but first he wants Rachel to see

if she can remember what happened the night Ryan was shot. Rachel begins

saying "NO! NO! NO!" and starts to freak. Carl explains the memories are

going to have to hold him tell he dies. Carl is frenetic and almost

orders Rachel to climb the trestle with him. She begins the climb ahead

of him.

Rachel pleads for Carl not to make her climb the trestle. He insists it

has to be faced. She says she doesn't want to...she can't! Carl reminds

her that Rachel is the key to finding the answer of what happened to

Ryan. Rachel forces her way back on solid group and tells Carl to stop

it and that he can't make her climb the trestle. (Rachel isn't usually

so spineless, so who knows what's up).

Carl climbs down, hugs Rachel and kisses her head. He apologizes and

understands life has to go on. Rachel says she wishes she could help

him. Carl promises never to ask her to remember again. They caress:

"Your tired" Rachel said. Carl starts climbing the trestle and says

he'll be right along. Rachel says she'll see him at home.

Vicky at home:

Writes in her journal that Grant lied and is in Manitoba. "What if

Justine is alive?" she muses.

Matt and Donna come over. and tell Vicky that they are married. Hugs

abound. Vicky is surprised that the wedding took place in Donna's

hospital room and that it was arranged by Michael, of all people. Matt

goes to use the phone to call in a marriage announcement to the

newspaper.

Vicky grabs a handful of rice and throws it in Donna's hair. They sit

down and discuss the wedding. Donna hopes Vicky isn't hurt because they

got married without her. Vicky says she isn't and reminds Donna that

life is to short to waste time!

Discussion switches to Grant and that he is up to something. He hasn't

changed said Donna. Vicky promises not to let Grant get away with

anything. A happy Matt returns and announces that the media knows about

the wedding. Vicky throws rice in Matt's hair. The doorbell rings and

who could it be? It's MICHAEL, who has come over to give Vicky the news

that Matt and Donna are married. Donna realizes it's Michael and before

he sees them, Donna grabs Matt and starts passionately kissing him,

making sure that Michael sees.

Donna makes an announcement. She no longer wants the condo. Michael can

have it if he wants for some sentimental reasons. He declines. Michael

reminds Donna that she has a history there and she always liked living

there. She agrees that she likes living there but that "we all have to

move on."Matt and Donna leave Vicky's place and starts smooching

outside. Matt thanks Donna for keeping him on his toes, "one of the

things I love about you." Vicky asks Michael if he's okay. He claims to

never be better.

Matt and Donna back ome:

Matt gives Donna a necklace as a honeymoon present. Donna wants to give

Matt the cufflinks she went to Michael's to get their wedding night.

Matt confesses to confronting Michael when Matt had drank too much, and

apologized for thinking that Donna and Michael had gotten back together.

Matt says he feels like a creep. Donna tells him not to feel that way.

Matt promises never to doubt Donna again (yeah, sure!). They both say

they don't deserve each other (well, they are half-right). Matt reminds

Donna that she's stuck with him "til death do us part."

Grant the obsessed GunBoy and Mommy Dearest at the Convent: (if that

isn't a weird sight!):

Grant begins to tell his mother that he got her note and is there and

then he gasps and jumps back startled and horrified after seeing what

Justine looks like post accident. (Pretty good acting...I can flying out

of my chair...). "Mother, what happened to you?"

Justine tells Grant that he kept her alive. Justine asks if he loved

her. Says she did everything for him. Grant begins to freak and grabs

Justine roughly, causing Justine to yelp out in pain. He apologizes byt

then yells at her for kidnapping Kirkland and Vicky, tormenting him and

poisoning Lorna. He shouts: "How do you expect me to forgive you? I'm

in no position to judge people. I've made mistakes. I've hurt people in

ways that I can't even begin to describe."

Grant talks about how Justine hurt him as a little boy. Thinking she

abandoned him. Making him feel incapable of being loved and incapable of

loving. "THAT'S WHAT YOU DID TO ME!!!!!!" "I grew up thinking you

didn't love me."

Grant tells Justine he was desperate for her love again when she came

back, but she was consumed with revenge. "People lost lives! Lives were

changed. That's what you made me do. You know what I am talking about."

"Ryan" gravels Justine.

"You made me do it," says Grant. "You made me shoot him. You made be

choose between my brother and my son. I killed my own brother because

yourlove!"

Grant begins to cry. Grant tells Justine that he could forgive her, but

asks what about him? Who will forgive him for shooting Ryan? Grant

tells Justine he has to go. He can't miss his flight as people in Bay

City will miss him.

"Don't tell" says Justine. He promises to keep it a secret. He holds

Justine's left hand (is she missing her right arm and hand?). "Together"

Justine says.

"Together?" said Grant. "You want us be together?" "It's impossible!

I'll lose everything. My home, my life and my son. Don't do this to me

again! Don't make me choose."

Grant promises to come back in a couple days and says goodbye. Justine

groans in pain.

Grant gives a nun some money and gets a promise that Justine's location

will be kept secret. He also promises a monthly donation to the convent.

"God Bless You" the sister said (as God must be gasping in the background).

Flash back to Justine. The nun comes in and tells Justine that her other

visitor has arrived. Nun leaves. Justine's hand forms a claw in the air

and then a clenched fist.

Some Dr. named Chike or something comes in and says "Contesse".

"I'm quite a fright, aren't I?" she says. She asks if "it" is ready and

he tells her he brought what she needs. "PERFECT!" she says menancingly.

FINAL SCENE:

Grant unlocks his apartment and walks in and finds Vicky sitting there.

"What are you doing here?" he asks.

Vicky looks at him and says, "You lied to me Grant. And I want to know why!"

AW: Thursday Update

LORNA/GABE:

Lorna predicts that disaster will strike as she received a disturbing

messgae on her answering machine. It said "I'm making a bomb...see you

at the ball". Since the voice was distorted, you can't tell if a man or

woman is making the threat. Lorna insists that she won't be intimidated

into cancelling the ball. Gabe tells her that they will put a tap on her

phone and urges her to tell no one (even Felicia!) about the incident.

LORI/CASS/SHARLENE:

Sharlene visits Cass and comes face to face with Lori Michaels. She

offers her condolences to Miss Michaels who leaves without saying a word

to Sharlene. Sharlene asks Cass if there is any way the settlement can

be reduced as her and John will never have the money to pay the amount.

Cass says that there is nothing he can do. An upset Sharlene leaves the

office determined to do something to help John. She heads straight to a

realtor's office and hesitantly says she wants to put her farm up for

sale. Lori shows up at Cass' office just as he is ready to walk out the

door. She tells him that she has nowhere else to go.

MORGAN/COURTNEY:

Morgan asks Courtney how her bruise is and she tells him that he MISREAD

the situation. Morgan is disappointed to hear that Courtney and andrew

"worked things out". Their conversation is interrupted by a patient

brought in on a stretcher. It is a woman who has been battered by her

husband. Josie comes in to investigate. She sees Morgan and they talk

about how hard John worked to have the Ryan Harrison wing built - loud

enough so that Dr. Madison hears them. Courtney notices the abuse woman,

Mrs. Oberland, sobbing. Morgan shows her a history of abuse the patient

has endured and can see Courtney is shaken. She begs Morgan to drop it

when he asks about her and Andrew, but he is persistent to find out what

is going on. Dr. Madison asks Morgan and Courtney not to be present when

the media tours the new wing. She doesn't want the hospital having any

more negative publicity.

VICKY/GRANT/GABE:

Vicky shows up at Grant's looking for answers. She had a friend trace

Grant's long distance calls and know he was in Manitoba and not

Washington. "What are you hiding", Vicky asks. Grant appears surprised

that Vicky is keeping tabs on him. He lies and tells her that he was in

Canada on a matter of national security. Vicky does not even come close

to believing this story. She demands Grant level with her or she will

tell Gabe the truth about the locket. Grant fibs that he and Ryan went

to summer camp in Canada and he went back there to remember those times

and be closer to Ryan. It was a way to deal with his grief. Grant goes

into a story of how Spence thought going to camp would build character.

He taught Ryan to swim that summer and they hiked and canoed. Grant

relates that this was a time when he and Ryan loved each other - before

all this hate came between them. Vicky asks Grant to tell her these

things but he says he needs to deal with his grief privately. After Vicky

leaves, he breathes a sigh of relief.

VICKY/GABE/LORNA:

Vicky bursts into the Captain's office and notices all the moving boxes.

It appears that the office is being relocated. She asks Gabe if he could

say a few words at the dedication ceremony since he and Ryan were

childhood friends. He agrees. Vicky then asks Gabe if he remembers a

Canadian summer camp that Ryan and Grant went to one summer. Gabe does

not recall this but says it could have happened before he met the Harrisons.
Vicky takes a minute to say goodbye to Ryan in his office before leaving.

Lorna asks Gabe if he would like to go to the ball with her. He accepts

saying he "doesn't play hard top get".

At home, Vicky wonders how to get the truth out of Grant. She suspects

that Canada and Justine have something to do with each other. Vicky

decides that it is easy to catch a bee if you have some honey and begins

to put her plan into action. She calls Grant and apologizes for being

harsh earlier in the day. She has decided to stop bickering with him and

asks Grant out to dinner to celebrate. Grant happily accepts.

That is it!! The Vicky/Grant storyline just keeps getting better and

better!!

DINNER WITH DADDY
Vicky/Steven/Nick/Jake/Grant

Steven sulks as Vicky explains she is taking Kirk out for a boring
dinner, Bridget has the night off so she found him a new babysitter -
actually, a new team. The doorbell rings, and Steven cheers up to see
that it's Nick with his dog Riley. Vicky is about to grab the lasagna and
leave, when Jake shows up and invites himself in. She claims she's late
for a pot-luck at church, but he's welcome to stay with Nick and Steven.

While she's getting Kirk, Jake asks Nick where Vicky's really going.

Later, as they share a pizza with Steven, Jake tells Nick he suspects
that Vicky is with Grant. Nick thinks it's a nice gesture for her to make
nice with Kirk's father, Jake should butt out. Jake tries to clue Nick in
to what a sleaze Grant is, Nick wasn't around to see the damage Grant did
as Vicky's husband. Nick suggests that maybe Jake is just jealous. After
Nick has put Steven to bed, Jake wants to set him straight about his
friendship with Vicky. He admits they were an item when they were wild
kids together, but now they're best friends. Then he describes the scams
they used to pull, Vicky loved danger, it's lucky they didn't land in
jail. But she gave up the thrill-seeking when she grew up and became a
mother, Nick assumes. I doubt it, says Jake, I suspect she's up to her
earrings in trouble as we speak.

Meanwhile, Grant is preparing a romantic dinner setting in his suite,
complete with wine and candles - but as he lights the candles, he has
second thoughts and quickly snuffs them out. What are you up to, Vicky?
he wonders aloud. Vicky arrives soon at Grant's with Kirk, but Grant has
removed all trace of his previous preparations. He's happy that she
unexpectedly brought Kirk. She says she's been thinking about what their
future will be, now that Ryan's gone. That's up to you, Grant replies
warily. After a pleasant dinner, Vicky butters up Grant about how good he
is with Kirk and Steven, it would be better for them if we called a truce
and got along with each other. Grant agrees he'd like them to be closer.

Vicky asks if someday he'd take Kirk to that camp in Canada he just
visited. Sure, says Grant (thinking quickly), but he's a little too young
right now. Grant says he has a new toy for Kirk; Vicky suggests Grant
take Kirk to go find it and spend some quality time with him while she
cleans up the dishes. When they exit, Vicky snoops around. Looking for
the desk key, she comes across the book about religious orders, and it
opens to the page where Grant had underlined the address of St. Jude's
Convent in Manitoba. Wonder if that's where "Mommie Dearest" is hiding,
she muses. She memorizes the address and straightens up the desk just
before Grant and Kirk return. She tells Grant it was a nice evening, but
we have to go home now, and she promises they'll do this again soon.

Grant is pleased, thanks her for including him in the family, and sees her
out - but he looks worried.

Back at her place, Nick is gone and Vicky has just put Kirk to bed,
but Jake is hanging around. He says he's figured out she was at Grant's,
and pesters her about why she went to break bread with Senator Sleaze.

She says she's trying to ease tensions for Kirk's sake. Jake suspects she
wouldn't let Kirk spend extra time with Grant if she wasn't trying to get
something from him, like admitting that he's hiding Justine, she should
just accept that Justine is dead. Vicky pretends to agree, that she's
realized that chasing a ghost won't bring Ryan back. He hugs her with
relief, says she's doing the right thing. Don't I know it, she answers
coyly.

Later, Vicky is writing in her journal to Ryan, describing how she
caught Grant lying about the camp in Canada, found the address of the
convent in Manitoba [can anyone explain to me why a convent has a male
choir singing Gregorian chants in the background?], and expects Grant will
soon lead her to Justine. He thinks he has me snowed, she writes, but you
know I don't snow that easy - Jake thinks I'm obsessed out of grief for
you, and I miss you so much, but I'll never forgive Grant for protecting
Justine.

Meanwhile, Grant is packing a suit bag, tossing in the convent book.

He calls Vicky, interrupting her journal writing, supposedly to repeat how
nice their dinner was, it's a whole new beginning. She agrees (but for
different reasons).

COPS ON A MISSION (Pt. I)
Josie/Gary/Gabe/Joe

Josie arrives at the station for a special briefing, and runs into
Gary in the lobby. She asks why he asked Gabe for a transfer, but he says
later, right now they have to show up at the meeting (but not together).

They split up and arrive at Gabe's office, no one there knows what the
meeting is about. Gabe arrives and briefs them about the threats to blow
up the hospital during Ryan's gala. It's a few days away, he says, so
don't expect to get much sleep until the sicko is caught. He has Joe
describe the paste-up threat that Paulina received, the lab is doing a
thorough analysis and Joe is heading up a team tracing its source. Gabe
says the second threat was a phone message on Lorna's answering machine
at
the hospital, so it could be an inside job. He orders an investigation of
disgruntled former employees, from John Hudson on down. Josie says
there's no way her stepfather would do something like this, and protests
the slur on his reputation. Gabe warns her not to make the mistake of
disobeying his orders, some day it could cost her her life, we can't
tolerate multiple opinions when a decision is made. Gary interrupts to
suggest the threat could be just a hoax, but Gabe makes it clear they
can't afford to take that chance.

As the cops get back to work on the case, Joe confirms the wiretaps
on Lorna's phones and orders someone to check the hospital computer for
people with grudges [boy, that's some computer! Mine won't do that...].

Gary is assigned to trace Ryan's old enemies. Josie tells Gary he
shouldn't leap to her rescue like that, Gabe will get suspicious. She
draws a heart with an arrow through it and hands it to Gary; when Joe
approaches to ask about the lab report, Gary stuffs the picture into his
mouth. We're chewing it over, Josie quips to Joe. Another cop reports to
Gabe that Lorna's wiretaps are in place. Gabe insists he wants to listen
to every second personally [wonder why? See below].

Much later, Gary is just getting out of the shower at home when Josie
uses her key and creeps in on him. He's pleased she's here, and says he's
decided not to ask for a transfer after all, he wants to stick around and
see how things work out. Don't worry, she says, as he undresses her, I
made sure Gabe was still at work. Gabe Who? answers Gary, as she slips
off his towel and they devour each other.

PRESS TOUR TAKES DETOUR
Rita/Felicia/John/Tom'as/Paulina/Maggie/Joe/Lorna

Felicia is at the hospital when Rita Madison arrives with a press
entourage to give them a preview of the new wing. Felicia raises a stink
about why John wasn't invited, his suspension was a travesty. John
appears, announces he can fight his own battles, but he and Felicia make
googoo eyes at each other as Rita seethes. John schmoozes the reporters,
asserts his leading role in making the new wing happen, and praises Ryan's
dedication. Just like you, says Tom'as, and the staff gives John a round
of applause. Rita skulks away, leaving John to give the press tour.

Paulina tells Felicia she hopes this stunt won't hurt John's chances of
being reinstated. As the tour moves away, Paulina remarks to Rita how
well John is handling the press [for a change]. The board is still
undecided about John's future, Rita cautions; besides, right now I'm more
worried about the bomb threats - I don't want the press to find out, or
the hospital staff to panic, and Capt. McNamara promised the terrorist
would be caught in time for the gala.

After the press is gone, John gives the staff a pep talk about how
much he misses everyone, appreciates their support, and hopes things
change so he can return to work soon (even though he won't be welcome at
the gala). He says he'd be proud to work here in honor of Ryan, who meant
so much to his family. While he's talking, Maggie tries to cozy up to
Tom'as, asking if he's going to the gala. He tells her to be quiet so he
can listen to John, and doubts if he could enjoy the gala while John is on
suspension. Yeah, Maggie agrees, only a vampire would enjoy it. What?!?
Tom'as asks with alarm. I said only a hypocrite would enjoy it, says
Maggie. [O.K., I'm sorry, but this vampire imagery is escaping me.]
Joe finds Paulina at the hospital, tells her no progress on the
search for the person making the threats, but they suspect it's someone
with inside info so she could be in danger. She notices he looks tired,
but he says it'll get worse before it gets better. He's just here to make
sure she gets home safely, then he has to get back to the investigation.

They exit.

COPS ON A MISSION (Part II)
Felicia/Lorna/Gabe/Rita

Felicia calls Lorna at home, raving about how John crashed the press
preview, he was magnificent against Rita. Lorna worries that she's being
rather obvious, she should be careful. Felicia insists there's nothing
improper going on, and asks how Lorna's doing. Lorna admits she saw Gabe
today, asked him to speak at the gala - and to be her escort. Felicia is
delighted that they're dating, but Lorna tries to downplay it: He's a
self-important jerk, impossible to read, what was I thinking? Felicia:
"Probably that he has very nice eyes." Lorna: "Yeah, well you can bet
that he knows it." She wonders what's wrong with her, normal women don't
get angry about dating a gorgeous guy - but she doesn't like the answer
Felicia gives her, and slams down the phone.

Some time later, Felicia shows up at Lorna's apartment to finish
their conversation in person - did Gabe accept your invitation? Yes,
admits Lorna testily, but dating a cop is bad news, just ask Vicky. I can
tell you're excited about this, Felicia observes, what are you planning to
wear? Lorna gripes that Gabe is so focused on work, he wouldn't notice if
she wore a black silk camisole - then she sees an envelope that was just
slid under her door. She opens it casually, then looks alarmed - Felicia
grabs it and sees that it's another paste-up bomb threat.

Meanwhile, Gabe sits alone in his office, listening to the first of
Lorna's wiretap tapes: Felicia's call, hot off the wires. He smirks when
he hears Lorna tell Felicia about their date, then bristles when she calls
him a self-important jerk, impossible to read. He hears someone
approaching and turns off the tape. It's Lorna - she hands him the threat
she just received. Whoever it is, she says nervously, they know where I
live, they were right outside my door! Gabe and Lorna go to the hospital
to show the letter to Rita. Lorna thinks they should ignore it and not
cave in to terrorists, but Rita is more cautious. What about you, Lorna
asks Gabe. Well, he answers pointedly, you know I'm hard to read... Rita
doesn't want more bad publicity and public panic; Gabe says public safety
is his priority, and unless the sicko is caught, he'll cancel the gala
personally.

WHAT A TIME FOR FRANKIE TO BE GONE?
Cass/Laurie/Felicia

Cass is working late in Frankie's office [I miss his old law office -
lots of great memories, especially upstairs...], when the door opens a
crack and a hand appears holding a bouquet of flowers. He's excited when
he thinks it's Frankie, but then sees that it's Laurie. He acts puzzled
when she gives him the flowers, and she asks what he's been doing since
she left earlier. He's surprised to hear her laugh at his casual
repartee, and notes that it's been a while since he heard her laugh. She
admits she was feeling better earlier, then felt guilty for being
cheerful. Ben would want you to be happy, Cass tells her. Laurie says
she brought him flowers because he understands her, even when she doesn't.

Remembering Sharlene's earlier visit, Cass broaches the subject of John's
financial problems, wonders if she'd consider taking less money. No way,
she protests with venom, nearly in hysterics - John's life will be back to
normal in a few months or years, but I'll never get my son back, so don't
expect any sympathy from me!

Sometime later, Felicia finds Cass at Frankie's office and tells him
about the latest bomb threat, she's really worried about Lorna. Cass says
he's glad the cops were involved from the beginning. They'd better catch
this guy, or woman, whatever, says Felicia, what kind of sick mind would
threaten to blow up a hospital and kill innocent people - oh, nice
flowers, she notes, as Cass's attention is drawn to Laurie's gift.

[Uh-oh, Cass is wondering if Laurie has too much time on her hands!] He
hustles Felicia out to her car, taking a last thoughtful look at the
bouquet as he locks up the office. The camera zooms in on the flowers, as
Laurie's earlier words echo in the voice-over: "You understand, even when
I don't." FREEZE FRAME (or, is that STILL LIFE?)

That's it for this week,
