Here's the doings in Bay City for Tuesday, Nov. 14th.....

COP SHOP

Paulina is all upset, telling Joe and Josie about the threatening note
she

and Rachel received about the gala. Joe gets right on the case,
running the
note through forensics, etc.

VICKY'S HOUSE

Jake and Vicky are playing cards. Jake is obsessing about Paulina, and
Vicky
suggests to him that maybe it's time for him to get over it. Jake asks
Vicky
if she's ready to get over Ryan just because some people think she
should. She
concedes that she's not. Jake says that sometimes you don't have to
accept
the cards you're dealt, you can make things happen...

AIRPLANE

Grant is flying to Manitoba, Canada. He falls asleep and dreams about
Justine.
In his dream, he tries to tell her about how he shot Ryan, and just as
he

wakes up, he realizes that she already knows...

THE FARM

John answers a phone call from a patient, explaining to the man how he
can't
practice medicine while he's still on suspension. He hangs up, and is
so upset
that he punches a hole through the window. <<Ouch!>>

WALLINGFORD'S

Cass brings in flowers for Felicia, wondering who they're from. He
says he

should have gotten her some himself, considering she's probably his
only friend
left in Bay City. He tells Felicia how Frankie and Charlie are staying
over

longer in Oklahoma, because Emma doesn't seem to be getting any better.
Cass
then starts complaining to Felicia about how Laurie has been constantly
showing
up on his doorstep day and night. Felicia warns him that Laurie might
be

falling for him, and Cass shrugs off the warning, saying that if Laurie
has any
feelings at all for him, it's as a sort of brother. That brings the

conversation over to Morgan, and Cass says he's getting nowhere in
reconciling

with his brother.

THE FARM

Morgan comes in and scolds John for busting up his hand. While
patching up

John's cuts, he tells him about how Courtney saved a life at the
hospital the
other day. Morgan says again how unfair the suspension is, and
suggests that
John go over to the hospital and see what a hero the entire staff
regards him

as. John refuses to go, saying he hasn't done anything heroic.

COP SHOP

Carl comes in and comforts Rachel, who is also shook up from catching a
glimpse
of Justine's locket on the captain's desk. Meanwhile, Joe gets some
bad news:
the contractor is asking $60,000 to renovate the restaurant. Paulina
wants to
know what's going on, but Joe refuses to tell her the whole story. Joe
wants
Paulina to stop working on the hospital gala, saying that she will be
in danger
now because of the note. Paulina refuses, saying that she worries the
same way
about Joe whenever he leaves the house in the morning, knowing he could
get

seriously hurt while being a cop. They make goo-goo eyes at each other
for a

while, and coo about their love....

VICKY'S HOUSE

Jake has a new scam going -- but he needs Vicky's help. She is
reluctant to

get involved. The doorbell rings -- it's Nick, who's also in on the
scam.
"Trust me" they both tell her....

CORY/HUTCHINS MANSION

Carl and Rachel come home. Rachel tells Carl about seeing the locket.
Carl

tries to convince Rachel to use the locket to trigger her memory of the
night

Ryan was killed. She refuses, saying she doesn't want to remember.
Carl

becomes very agitated and desperate, demanding Rachel tell him if the
fourth
person on the train trestle was Grant. Carl gets so wrought up that he
grabs

Rachel by the shoulders and begins shaking her, before he catches
himself doing
it and stops, horrified. He leaves the room in a state. Rachel looks

bewildered and upset.

THE CONVENT

Grant approaches the nun, saying "I believe my mother may be here."

WALLINGFORD'S

Felicia asks Cass for his legal help in a real estate sale --
apparently she

owns Joe's restaurant, and wants to sell it. Cass finds the florist's
card on
the floor; Felicia grabs it and reads it -- the flowers are from Gary,

thanking her for the favor she did him and Josie.

THE FARM

Morgan leaves finally, and Sharlene comes home. John turns around and
sees

her in the doorway -- they embrace.

VICKY'S HOUSE

Nick and Jake try to convince Vicky to sign some papers. She is
reluctant,

saying she doesn't want Nick involved in any of Jake's scams. Jake
pulls out
the big guns and reminds Vicky she owes him a big favor after he helped
her

with the baby switch. Nick wonders why no one ever tells him anything.
Vicky
finally caves in and signs; Nick and Jake highfive each other. They
leave,
and Vicky wonders where Grant is, and why he hasn't come to pick up the
baby.

THE CONVENT

The nun tells Grant that "the patient" has been there a few weeks.
Grant asks
to use a phone, and the nun tells him there are none in the convent,
but

there's one in the convenience store down the road to town. Grant then
asks
the nun for complete confidentiality.

WALLLINGFORD'S

Felicia falls into a reverie about John, but snaps out of it and tells
herself
that the time for romance is over...

THE FARM

John asks Sharlene what she is doing home. She says that of course she

couldn't stay away when she heard about the suspension.

COP SHOP

Gabe is totally focused on finding out who wrote the threatening note,
and on
securing the hospital gala against any danger. Gary keeps trying to
tell him
something, and finally blurts out that he wants a tranfer.

VICKY'S HOUSE

Vicky leaves a message on Grant's machine, asking why hasn't he come
for Kirk.
The doorbell rings. Carl has come by with some of Ryan's things from
his

(Ryan's) apartment. In the box, Vicky finds an old photo of Grant and
Ryan

from when they were children. Vicky asks Carl what was really going on
the

night she came over and stopped Carl from choking Grant to death....

WALLINGFORD'S

While Nick stands by, dressed incongruously in a suit, Cass and Felicia
look
over the papers to sell the restaurant to Vicky. Nick tries to
convince

them that selling to Vicky is a good idea; Felicia is initially
reluctant, but
finally agrees and signs. All the while, Jake is eavedropping
outside...

CORY/HUTCHINS MANSION

Rachel is freaking out as she has flashbacks to the night Ryan was
shot, when
she saw Justine through the terrace window of the Cory house....

VICKY'S HOUSE

Carl tells Vicky he was just lashing out, using Grant as a scapegoat
the night
he wigged out and started strangling him. Vicky doesn't entirely
believe him,

but she says she does understand the need to lash out and blame
someone. Carl
eventually leaves, and the phone rings. It's Grant, calling to tell
Vicky he's
in Washington, D.C., and that he couldn't make it because he had to
help a

friend. Vicky tells him that his son needs him more.....

THE FARM

Sharlene asks John if he can forgive her for leaving him all summer
long, and

then almost doing it again at a time when he needed her. Sharlene then
goes

on to say that now they have each other, and they'll always be able to
lean
on each other from now on...

COP SHOP

Gabe refuses Gary's request for a transfer. Outside the office, Josie

remonstrates with Gary, asking him what he thinks he's doing. "Trying
to save
us", he replies.

VICKY'S HOUSE

Vicky is writing to Ryan in her journal, describing how she got an old
cop

buddy of Ryan's to trace Grant's call. Just then she gets the callback
from
the buddy, telling Vicky that Grant was really calling from Manitoba,
Canada...

THE CONVENT

The nun ushers Grant into the patient's room, reminding him that she's
still

weak. Grant peers into the room, asking tentatively: "Mother?".......
