AW Update for Monday, Nov. 13, 1995

I dunno, the longer Michael is on, the worse he gets. Soon he's gonna

rival Grunt in smarminess, IMHO.

Anyway--here goes:

Hospital: Michael brings in the Rev. Keaton, who will marry Matt &

Donna, with Rachel and Michael as witnesses. Donna looks for excuses

but Michael and Matt convince her. Rachel helps Donna change and the

wedding is on, with Michael as best man

(HAH! >:-p ) Matt & Donna share vows. Exchange rings. They are

married. Rachel and Michael discuss their thoughts. Rachel admits

she had reservations, but Michael says it's a good thing.

Matt goes off to get Donna's release from the hospital.
Michael comes in and says he forced the issue of the wedding to make

Donna happy, but he can't believe he'll never make love to her again

(WHAT! WHAT A JERK! AUUUUUGGGHH!) but that she did the right thing in

marrying Matt. Donna is doubtful and cries when Michael leaves.

Joe's: Paulina is playing housewife to Joe, dusting, making brown-bag

lunches. Jake arrives and makes fun of her "cosy" little home, and

domestic chores. He's here to agree to the divorce, he says. He

wants to do the right thing, because he "owes her one". She gave up

her inheritance for five years, he says, to show Jake wasn't after her

money. Jake offers to help her get a bigger place, but she refuses.

What will he do with all the silver and china? Paulina offers to pick

it up. While she is out of the room, Jake assess what Joe's furniture

is worth. Paulina and Jake share a cup of tea, Jake lying through his

teeth, Paulina just eating it right up.

Felicia arrives with the bookkeeping for the Gala. Jake

leaves. Felicia doesn't believe Jake will make it so easy. Rachel

arrives and they exchange news (Amanda & Ally are THRIVING). Paulina

says she's found the perfect life with Joe. Carl is devastated by

Ryan's death, and she can't reach him, Rachel says. They begin

working on the RSVPs when Paulina finds a threatening not "Cancel the

Gala or People with Die" in cut out letters.

Vicky's: Gabe arrives to see about the locket. Vicky tells Gabe the

locket was found in Kirkland's baby bag, but she now feels it's not

that important, it's been there all along. Grant is very nervous.

Grant says it is his only connection to Justine and he doesn't want to

lose it. Gabe takes it, with a promise to return it. Justine must be

dead, Gabe says, but Vicky doesn't believe it.
When Gabe leaves, Grant thanks Vicky for not telling Gabe that

he had the locket. She says she doesn't know. Grant tries again to

convince Vicky that Justine is dead. Vicky doesn't believe it. Vicky

want's to know what else Grant is hiding. Nothing, he says. "If you

have the guts to do it, have the guts to own up to it," was something

Ryan used to say, she tells him. Vicky tells Grant to come back to

take Kirkland to the park. Grant beats it out of there.

Jake arrives to tell Vicky about Joe & Paulina. He's going to

work on Joe, he says. Vicky warns him about hurting Joe, or he'll

hurt Paulina, too. Anyway, Vicky is more interested in Grant...Jake

is worried she's too trusting. Grant is just looking for sympathy.

Vicky says Jake is hiding something...

like Justine. Jake says Justine is dead...Vicky says she doesn't

believe it, and if Justine is alive, Grant is the key to finding her.

Police Station: Gabe brings the locket and finds Grant's picture

inside. Paulina and Rachel arrive to bring the threatening letter to

Joe and Gabe. Rachel and sees the locket and is troubled...she has

flashbacks of wrenching the locket from Justine's throat at the

trestle.

Convent: The nun at the convent tells the woman in the bed that her

note was delivered. How does she expect to get help with only two

words?

Wallingfords: Grant arrives home and gets the note from Justine. He

goes to Wallingfords bookstore and compares the logo on the note paper

with a book of religious logos. He finds the convent he's looking

for--Sisters of St Jude in Manitoba, Canada. [Jeez, that train musta

pushed her QUITE a WAYS...and isn't St Jude the patron saint of

hopeless causes?] Immediately, he books a flight to "Manitoba,

Canada". [*snort*] FREEZE FRAME

Felicia has the best line, today: She arrives at Wallinford to find

Grant looking at books.

Felicia: May I make a suggestion?

Grant:	No thanks, I prefer to browse...sooner or later

	something will hit me.

Felicia: I certainly hope so...

The look on Grant's face is PRICELESS.
