Here it is folks, hot off the presses! I was even a few minutes late
for

work b/c I wanted to see the ending - and it was SOOOOO worth it!!!

Michael/Donna/Matt:

Matt is over at Michael's and demands to know what Michael has done
with

Donna. We switch to a scene of Donna slumped over her steering wheel,

the front of her car crumpled. Matt blames Michael for always being
the

problem, saying that Donna has changed ever since Michael came back.

Michael looks Matt in the eye and confesses that he doesn't want Donna

back. This isn't enough for Matt as he continues by saying that Donna

has been distant and secretive ever since Michael's recovery. Michael

chalks it up to "that's just Donna, that's how she is". Matt demands
to

know why Donna kept him waiting for 2 hours. Michael states that any

problem with Donna is Matt's problem, not his.

At the accident site, we see that Donna is uninjured. She calls
Michael

on her cellular...both Matt and Michael race to the phone, both
expecting

it to be her. Michael grabs the phone and after hearing Donna ask,

"Michael?", he hangs up. Matt accuses that it was Donna on the phone -

Michael tells him it was a wrong number. After Matt continutes to
bother

him (he shines a light in Michael's eyes as he tries to sleep, for
e.g.),

Michael finally confesses that Donna did stop by there but only to pick

up her grandfather's cufflinks to give to *Matt* as a wedding gift.

Matt is stunned and Michael tells him that Donna left "hours ago".
Nick

comes to Michael's resue and Matt leaves to find Donna. (We are

told that there is only one road back to town from Michael's, so it
shouldn't be too hard.) Michael immediately calls Donna's cellular to

try to convince her to make up a story, like maybe she had an accident,

as Matt is on his way. Donna tells him that she *did* have an accident
-

she drove into a tree and is trapped in her car. After making sure
that

she is alright and offering to pick her up (she declines), he suggests

she try the other car doors. She tries the passenger side door and it

opens. She calls Michael a "virus I just can't get rid of". She
pleads

for Michael to tell her what to do as Matt is on his way. Michael
tells

her that whatever she tells Matt, to leave him out of it. After they

hang up, she says, disgusted, "Just like you, Michael, to start
something

you can't finish". She gets out of the car and throws dirt all over

herself, rips her clothes, and lies beside the car waiting for Matt.

Back at the farm, Nick talks about the sparks between Donna and Michael

and Michael reassures him that the itch has been scratched, so to
speak.

Nick is impressed!

Gabe/Josie/Gary

Josie and Gary are enjoying a romantic evening when Gabe comes a

knocking. Josie hightails it to the bedroom. Gabe explains Vicky's

theory that Justine is still alive, and asks Gary to check out the
train

tracks over a certian area. Gary does his best to oush Gabe out the

door, when Gabe remarks how bothersome the flashing light is outside

Gary's window. When Gary asks why this light would bother him, he

informs him that he is now living across the hall ("and if someone
comes

knocking at 1 a.m. you'll know it is me. Gabe is apparently an
insomniac

along with the rest of Bay City tonight - all the scenes take place

around 1 a.m.). Josie's mouth drops!! Once Gabe has left, Josie and

Gary try to devise a plan to get her out of there without Gabe seeing.

They hear bagpipes playing and then Gabe knocks on the door again.
This

time Josie chooses to hide in the shower. Gabe asks to use Gary's

shower. In the bathroom, Gary tries his best to dissuade Gabe from
using

it. he runs the water saying it's cold all the time (poor Josie is

getting soaked)...then he says it's not clean enough, and throws a
bunch

of cleanser behind the curtain (strike two for Josie). Gabe leaves and

Gary laughs when he sees Josie all soaked and covered in cleanser!!

LAURIE/CASS/MORGAN/COURTNEY

At Sassy's, Laurie and Cass are having dinner and Laurie is put off
that

Courtney is laughing (with Morgan) as though she "doesn't care about
what

she did". Cass reminds Laurie that this had a profound impact on all

involved. "Good', she sternly replies. When Cass gets up to get a
menu,

we see a female barternder on the phone with someone, telling them how

hot Nick is. Cass goes over to talk to Morgan, who blames Cass for
John

losing his job and his savings. Cass asks if Morgan wants to destroy

their family. Courtney walks by Laurie, who stops her and asks if she

ever thinks about if Ben would be alive had Courtney stopped his using

the inhaler. Morgan and Courtney leave. Laurie tells Cass that she
has

no one to go home to. He suggests a "fresh start" outlook and says
that

her feelings are normal. Laurie confesses that she doesn't know what
she

would do without Cass.

AT MORGAN'S

Morgan gets ready to go to bed when Courtney shows up. It seems she
has

had yet another fight with her boyfriend. He sees a bruise on her arm

that wasn't there earlier, and asks her if her boyfriend is abusing
her.

She says he isn't, but Morgan presses asking her why she is protecting

him. As she turns to leave, Morgan gently touches her, but she jumps
as

he must have touched another bruise. He puts his foot down and says
that

he won't let her go back to the abuser.

ENDING

There is a song playing in the background throughout this ending scene.

We see Josie and Gary enjoying yet another bubble bath...we see Morgan

getting Courtney some blankets and pillows...we see Michael in bed,

thinking about Donna, getting up to call her but hanging up right away.

Finally, we see Matt finding Donna and cradling her in his arms.

Throughout this whole show, I couldn't help but think how great Kale

Brown is, and how much I loved his relationship with Donna...sigh...

That's it!!!
