October 22nd

Cindy purchases a replica of the fertility idol, then loses track of which
totem is the real McCoy and which
is the fake to be donated to the museum. As Rachel pounds on "Hadley's"
door, demanding to speak to
her, Matt happens by and urges his mother to come away for a serious
discussion about the situation.
Josie and Cindy struggle to deal with their grief over the loss of their
unborn child. Trying to comfort her
unhappy husband, Josie reminds Gary that they still have one another and can
try some day to get
pregnant again. Cindy finally determines which statue is the genuine article
by testing its effect on the men in
her general vicinity. Listening to Matt wheedling Rachel away from her door,
Amanda fears that her
brother is about to ruin her life by spilling the beans about "Hadley".
Tyrone is surprised to learn that his
late mother had a safe deposit box which has yet to be opened. Upon
receiving proof that the young Jane
Doe died of an overdose of the same kind of pills to which Paulina became
addicted, Josie pressures her
captain's wife to name the source of her supply. Matt tells his mother that
he alone conceived and carried
out the plan to paint Carl as an adulterous spouse. Though Grant demands her
resignation, Josie refuses to
step down until Joe returns to Bay City. Gary spots a small child cowering
behind a dumpster and coaxes
the frightened girl out of her hiding place. Amanda is stunned to come home
and find her brother taking the
entire blame for nearly destroying the Hutchins' marriage.
