>THAT'S *ACTING* CAPTAIN SINCLAIR TO YOU...
>Josie continues to question Carl about the incident at Alexander's
penthouse. Carl insists it was an accident, but Alexander is stating that
Carl "attacked" Felicia. [What a crock!] Josie informs Carl that if her
fall resulted from such an attack, he could be charged for attempted murder.
Carl decides to keep quiet until his lawyer arrives. Grant shows up
(Alexander called him from the hospital and relayed the "Carl attacked
Felicia" version of the story) and is very gleeful at the prospect of Carl
being thrown in jail. He says he will make a statement to the press to tell
the people of Bay City that justice will be swift and severe for criminals.
Carl makes some snide comment about when Grant will come to justice, but
Grant blows it off. The new mayor congratulates Josie in her apprehension
of Carl and tells her that perhaps they will make her promotion to acting
captain permanent [not if Amy is leaving the show in two months like the
magazines say she is they won't....another one bites the dust *sigh*].
After Rachel hires Carl the services of Tyrone (see below), Tyrone comes
over and tells Josie that until Felicia can make a statement as to what
transpired, it is just Alexander's word against Carl's, which isn't grounds
for holding Carl. Josie agrees and Carl leaves the station.

>HE SHOOTS HE SCO....MAYBE NOT, BUT AT LEAST HE'S ON CAMERA, VICKY!!!
>Donna complains some more about the fact she has that stupid fertility
totem to babysit. She goes over to Cass' table holding the darn thing, and
the little guy starts to work its magic on Cass. He suddenly finds Donna
very attractive. They reminisce about their evening at the Bowlarama and
make plans for the evening. Donna goes back over to the bar, and Cass comes
out of his spell. He then gets a call (I think it was Alexander calling
Cass to the hospital about Felicia) and quickly leaves, much to Donna's
chagrin. She closes up the club, leaving the totem out on the bar. Shortly
thereafter, she runs into Grant (who was coming from the police station).
Grant admonishes Donna that she needs to take care of that totem, that it is
an important donation to the museum. Donna tells Grant to stop worrying,
the totem is in her safe at home. Grant leaves, and Donna then realizes she
left the dang thing on the bar, so she heads back over there to get it.

>IS THAT CATWOMAN OR THE SILVER ROSE THIEF??
>Cindy is very upset over Grant's lack of interest in her. He ignores her
in bed, first by reading papers and then falling asleep. He wakes up
instantly when the phone rings and rushes out (see above). Cindy decides
she has to get Grant back, and she needs her Boo-Ba to get it, so she gets
out her gear and gets ready to go steal it back. At the Harbor Club, Cindy
climbs in a window and jumps down to the floor. She's wearing a tight
catsuit and high heels *ROFLMAO* Boo-Ba's eyes light up on seeing its
"mommy." Cindy picks it up and caresses it, but then she hears something.
She hides behind the bar and watches with horror as Donna comes and takes
the totem away. Curses, foiled again!!

>ALT.HADLEY.PRESCOTT.DIE.DIE.DIE
>Rachel tells Matt and Amanda that whoever started this Hadley Prescott
business may cost Rachel her dearest friend Felicia. The kids swear up and
down that they had nothing to do with Hadley, and Rachel wants to believe
them, but if they did have something to do with it, she would run them out
of town personally. Paulina comes down asking what is going on and is
horrified to hear what has happened to Felicia. Rachel leaves to go to the
hospital and to ask Cass for a good lawyer for Carl. Amanda ends up at the
hospital too (see below), and then comes home and freaks out to Matt about
how Felicia's injuries are really severe and that Rachel is really
suspicious at their involvement with the Hadley affair. Matt tells her not
to worry, that Carl sealed his fate when Felicia fell throught the skylight,
something they had no hand in. Carl walks in. Is anyone going to welcome
Daddy home, he sneers.
>
>THINGS ARE LOOKING BAD FOR OUR HEROINE, DOCTOR...
>Shane, BCUH's one doctor wonder, yells at a nurse not moving at warp speed.
Felicia is in bad condition. Her left pupil is blown and she needs surgery
(something about bleeding in her brain I think). Cass' presence is
requested (I don't know if Felicia made the request, or whether Alexander
summoned Cass), so he comes to the hospital. Alexander tells Cass he wants
to press charges for attempted murder against Carl, that he "attacked"
Felicia, and her grave injuries resulted. Rachel and Amanda show up, and
Alexander balls Rachel out. She counters that it is his vendetta against
Carl and the antagonism between the two that has landed Felicia in the
hospital. Shane returns [I guess from operating on Felicia, which he
shouldn't really be doing considering he had scotch with Hadley/Amanda like
two hours ago?] and tells the assembled group that Felicia will survive, but
her face has been badly damaged, so she will need reconstructive surgery.
Alexander insists he will fly in the best specialists. Do that, Shane tells
him, and get an eye specialist too. He explains that Felicia had glass
fragments in her eyes, which they were able to remove, and her eyes are
taped shut. Shane warns them that Felicia will be very disoriented when she
wakes up, and that Cass will need to be there when she does. Alexander
insists he will be too, and tells Shane he will be handsomely compensated
for his services. Shane shrugs it off; I'm just doing my job, he says.
Later, Amanda goes over to Shane and starts bugging him for details about
his date with Hadley. She was very nice, Shane tells her, she reminds me of
you. Amanda gets all excited, but the air gets let out of her balloon when
Shane tells her the similarity is dress size. She goes home to cry to Matt
(see above). Meanwhile, Rachel calls Tyrone (who is at home playing
Scrabble with Etta Mae: will someone please find these people a
storyline???) and asks him to be Carl's lawyer. She then goes over to the
Burrell's and talks to Tyrone, who goes to the police station (see above).
In Felicia's room, Cass listens as Alexander professes his love to a still
unconscious Felicia. Then Cass sits down and tells his best friend he loves
her and needs her very much. Felicia wakes up very disoriented and moans
for help: she can't see.
