Carl continues to yell at Grant and Gabe about how Justine is probably
alive
and Rachel is most certainly not guilty. They present him with a
pathology
report that says they found some of Justine's body parts. She's dead.
Carl's
not so sure -- until they show him the photos. Gabe reassures him that
barring any further evidence, Rachel will not be charged. Meanwhile,
Josie is
giving Grant Justine's things, though she hasn't told him that
Justine's dead.
Carl goes to see Grant, and breaks the news about Justine, because
Ryan would
have wanted him to. He tells Grant that he hopes he can find peace.
Grant
has a nightmare is which Ryan is holding Kirk and then a gunshot rings
out.

Gabe orders Gary to post the rules about sexual harrassment and
excessive
fraternization among officers. He shows it to Josie, who freaks.

Nevertheless, he tries to get Josie to agree to meet him after work.
Gabe
overhears, so they tell him they need to discuss some cases. Gabe
wants to be
included. Um ... OK. To their relief, he decides not to attend after
all.

Gary asks Josie to spend the night with him.

Tomas sees Nick and Maggie making out. Maggie sees him and screams,
"Nick
no!" In one of the most revolting scenes I've ever seen, Tomas
proceeds to
beat up Nick, insisting to John, Sharlene and Rachel that Nick was
raping
Maggie. Nick tells the truth -- they were out, had a beer, got into a
car
chase, and used their adrenaline rush on each other. Maggie says that
Nick
wasn't forcing himself on her, he just misunderstood her intentions.
John
treats Nick and Tomas's injuries as Rachel chews out Maggie. First
Tomas and
then Nick? What a slut! Maggie begs for five minutes to talk to
Tomas. He
doesn't want any of it. It's over! John and Sharlene are mad that
Nick
risked going back to prison and upsetting Michael. They remind him
that
Maggie is taken. He doesn't care, he never wants to see her again.

Jake and Paulina are alone, respectively at a hotel and at her house.
Paulina
is surprised when Allison pays her a visit, apologizing for lying to
Joe about
Jake's amnesia. She talks about Jake long enough to let Paulina know
how
well she knows him and then leaves Paulina with a necklace she wants to
give
back to Jake. Paulina lies to Allison that everything is peachy
between her
and Jake. She finally gets Allison to leave. She looks at the
necklace,
which is engraved, "To Allison, all my love, Bunny." She is even more
upset
when she realizes it is their first wedding anniversary. Meanwhile,
Allison,
the busy girl, pays Jake a visit. He lies about why he's at the hotel
and
insists that his marriage is happy. She knows that's not true -- she
saw him
leave his house with two suitcases. He is enraged that she has been
following
him. He wants her out of town, but she's staying indefinitely -- down
the
hall from him. If he needs anything ...
