ANOTHER WORLD UPDATE TUESDAY 10/18/94

FRANKIE CASS MARSHALL WALLY FELICIA :

On the trail of WackoWally, Frankie, Cass, and Marshall are suspicious of

Harry Winsor, since Cass AKA Crystal Lake dropped by for an surprise

visit. They are rummaging through all the Cory Publishing Payroll

folders, trying to find an employee who fits his profile. They agree that

if they find that he is on the payroll, they will go to the police, and

tell them that he has Felicia. Meanwhile, Felicia is drunk, and

pretending to be romantically interested in Wally.
She's kissing him, and pretending to seduce him. He draws back, and

complains that he must have put too much liquor in the food, as he makes

for the door. She stops him at the door and continues her seduction,

pleading with him to take her with him anywhere that he goes. He starts

to get into it, beginning to spout romantic, heroic lines from her

books. They agree that they were destined for each other, and this time

he dips her, and kisses her back as she laughs. He declares
that Marshall Kramer won't be "a problem" much longer and that he is

going to a place that no one will find. Felicia seems concerned under

her cover, but cannot keep Wally from leaving, as he tells her to get a

good night's sleep. He leaves exuberant, and she cowers exhaustedly.
He

stumbles drunkenly down the stairs, as the attic door slips open, after

not being locked properly. When Felicia wakes up, she notices that the

door is slightly ajar, says "What has that wacko done now?" calls his
name,

as she stumbles drunkenly down the stair herself to the
combination-locked

door. She uses her intuition that the combination is probably

Felicia-related. She tries her first book's publication date,
which doesn't work. Then she gets it on the second try with her

birthdate year! She stumbles down more stairs to the house entrance, and

starts to look for a phone.
Meanwhile, Wally waits for Marshall, who was left alone to look through

the payroll files, after Frankie and Cass leave for the Harbor Club after

Lorna calls with news that she has found a note from Felicia on the

floor. When Marshall takes leaves the room to take a break for a minute,

Wally sneaks in, steals his folder, and leaves unnoticed,
just in time for Marshall to come back in to continue his search.
When Felicia finds the phone, she hears someone coming, so she has to
run

back upstairs. Wally comes in with a roll of copper wire, and sits down to

work on something. When Felicia gets upstairs, she puts something in the

lock that will enable the door not to be locked properly, so that it will

slip open again, and she waits, as she stares are a liquor bottle. As

Wally fiddles with his contraption, he sings to the melody of "Pop Goes

the Weasle" : "All around the publishing world, Marshall chased Felicia.

Marshall learned twas all in vain -- LOUDEXPLOSIONNOISES goes
Marshall Kramer" and starts to giggle. Nutty Wacko Wally! :-)

JOSIE IAN LORNA CASS FRANKIE RYAN

After Josie cleans off a table at the Harbor Club, she notices a note on

the floor with a feather attached. Ian comes in, after being let go from

the police station and informs her that the club is officially shut down

for now. He explains that he, Lila, and Spencer were arrested when the

police got a hold of the computer accounting disk. Josie confesses that

Evan put up Ian's bail, since Josie was so distraught. He is afraid that

even though no gambling was involved, he might still get into trouble,
since he has a record. They figure that someone doctored the financial

records, and made Ian look like her was in on it. Josie thinks that

maybe Lila could have been protecting the money all this time, and that

now her boss is paying everybody back.
When Lorna comes in to meet a client, they tell her that the place was

shut down, so she goes to make a phone call, and when she notices the

note, she asks when it was found. As she tries to make it out, since it

is partially wet and smudged, she becomes certain that it is Felicia's

writing. She calls Cass and Frankie, and tells them about the note.

They wonder why it was found at the club, and whether it is
a forgery. But Lorna is insistant that it is genuine. Frankie and Cass

say that they are on there way over, and leave Marshall at Cory.

When they arrive, they carefully inspect the dishelvled note, to read

something about "Find me...psychopath...hurry,,,my life..." They reassure

Lorna that this is a good sign, since it means that Felicia is alive and

fighting. Ian asks for a photo of Felicia to pass around the dock area

nearby. Meanwhile, Loran calls Ryan, who is with Vicky, informs him

about the situation, and asks him to come over to help -- he's
on his way in a flash. When Ryan get there, he discusses with Ian that

Evan paid his bail. They both speculate that Evan is behind this all,

but agree that it is better not to let Josie in on it, since she might

inadvertantly slip up. Ian asks Ryan to get Spenser out of jail, as Ryan

takes the note to forensics at headquarters.
Ian cozies up to Josie, but gets distant when Josie asks him if he knows

who could be setting him up. They get into an argument about holding out,

and Josie leaves.

VICKY RYAN BRIDGET

At the beginning of the show, Vicky and Ryan come back to Vicky's place.
Vicky confides that she is sad since she's missing Kirk, and asks Ryan if

they will be "home" together again in the apartment. Ryan sounds

doubtful, as he reminds her that he had to move out when she left, since

there was no communication between them the whole time that she was

gone. She explains that the only thing that kept her going all that time

was thinking about coming home to him. He reminds her that the last time

that they were in this room together, he was going to get a minister,
and she was packing her bags. She begs him to let her explain, but he

says that every time he tried to find her, she ran from him. She

counters by reminding him that Grant was tailing him everywhere. He

assures her that they could have handled that together, like they did did

before other times, but she mentions that it was different
with Kirk, and that Grant was right behind him in NYC. He is distraught

because he doesn't like her "methods," which always involve leaving

something out, so he never gets the whole story. She brings up Lorna,

and asks if she might be poisoning him against her. He yells that "You

just don' t get it!"
"Love and Trust are one and the same!" She makes the distinction
between

Grant and Ryan, but he tells her that she treated them the same way -- left

them both. He reminds her that the judge did ultimately award her custody,

but that she had already split before she could find that out. She

thinks that judge was in Grant's pocket, but Ryan says that she blew it!

She says that the separation was only temporary, but he says that *he*

didn't know that because she didn't tell *him*.
He asks if she expects that after 6 months with no contact that they can

just pretend nothing happened and start over again. He confesses that he

still loves her, but he doesn't understand what's going on.

He wants to know what has changed in the situation that would make her

come back and give the baby up -- does not compute to him. "Why now?

What's changed?" He thinks that after all this time, that he still

doesn't really know her. She reminds him that she is still the
same person that she has always been. She wants to know if he will ever

decide to forgive her or whether it is "over" since he has been holding
back

since she came back. He slips and reminds her of how he forgave her for

sleeping with his brother. She thinks that it is unfair to throw that in

her face again, and he apologizes. He argues that if she had wanted, he

would have stood beside her through it. She asks him if he can conceive

that she did it for him, so that he wouldn't have to jeopardize his job,

or compromise his principles. He says that it is all or nothing, and
that they should be a team, not just playing by her rules.
In the middle of this heated argument, Ryan's beeper goes off. Ryan

keeps ignoring it, but Vicky can't concentrate until he just answers it.

Even though Ryan says that it is official business involving Lorna, Vicky

starts getting jealous. Ryan yells "Obviously you have all the answers.

That's why you don't need me anymore" and storms out. She yells behind

him "Ryan you big jerk, I don't have anything."
Bridget comes in later to find Vicky vacuuming. She knows that Grant took
"the child," but wants to know where Ryan is. Vicky says "with his new

girlfriend." Vicky tells Bridget that Ryan doesn't trust her. Bridget

thinks that he has a sixth sense about these things, and knows that

something is not right and that she is lying to him. Bridget wants her

to be with the man she loves, and wants her to find a way to get him

back. She figures that Vicky is not letting Ryan
"in on it," and is letting him walk away. When Vicky says that she has

tried everything, Bridget disagrees and says that she hasn't tried that
TRUTH!
Vicky thinks that it is too risky, and that he is already asking too many

questions. She suggests that maybe it would be better for Ryan to think

that she is not in his life anymore. "I can get him back later, can'tI?"

FREEZE FRAME

LORNA RYAN :-)

After they come back from the Harbor Club and headquarters, Lorna asks
Ryan

in for a nightcap. When Ryan suggests that he leave, Lorna gets blunt by

asking him to "spend the night." He again makes some excuses to leave.

They dicuss that the note has shaken her up, but then she really tells

him what's bothering her : The anniversary of her rape. They talk a

little about it, and he decides to stay after all -- once her realizes

that it wasn't the comeon it sounded like initially.
