As her husband prepares to depart for a trip to
L.A., Rachel hopes that Amanda's cheery disposition
means her daughter has finally accepted Carl's place
in their home. Meanwhile, Felicia makes it clear to
Alexander that she won't let the enmity between him
and Carl stand in the way of her friendship with
Rachel. Annoyed to find Lila asleep in the on-call
room at the hospital, Shane wakes her up and demands
to know why she locked him into Gary's office.
Though Vicky decides the time has come to consummate
her love for her new fiance, Jake suggests they wait
until their wedding night to make their first time
extra special. Lila promises Shane she will never
reject him the way the faithless Vicky just did.
Grant congratulates Rusty on a job well done, then
instructs the befuddled young man to file charges of
sexual harassment against Donna. Felicia tries to
make the best of an awkward situation after she and
Alexander bump into Carl and Rachel at the airport.
As they board the flight to Los Angeles together,
Carl urges Felicia to believe that he had no idea
Diana Nicos was in the line of fire all those years
ago. Lila is sorely disappointed to discover that
Shane still intends to go through with the divorce
in spite of Vicky's engagement to Jake. Alexander
enlists a willing Amanda in his vendetta against
Carl. After bringing Paulina to the ER to be treated
for a burn she received while cooking, Joe admits to
Shane he fears his wife has begun taking the diet
      pills again.
