Justine comes downstairs to see Vicky. Vicky can't imagine what is
going on.

Justine takes exception when Vicky declares that either "Rachel's"
insane, or
better yet, been brainwashed by Justine. It's not until Justine says
that she
needs Vicky out of the way for the sake of her son, Grant, that Vicky
catches
on. Vicky wonders why she doesn't care for Ryan, her son by the love
of her
life, so Justine calls him a gnat who ruined her life and cares nothing
for
his mother. Vicky refuses to eat the soup Justine offers, thinking it
drugged, and gets slapped when she once again calls Justine crazy. Oh,
I
almost forgot, Vicky is chained by a shackle around her ankle. Vicky
prays
that Ryan will rescue her.

Rachel, Carl, and Detective Dolan persuade Ryan to allow Rachel to be
used as
bait to flush out Justine.

Meanwhile, Grant has arrived, and he is wondering why Justine is
carrying a
tea service. She says she's feeding the stray cats who live in her
basement.

He gently brings up the subject of an institution, and she responds
strongly.

She reminds him that one could easily have thought Grant crazy when he
shot
himself and blamed Vicky, but she knows that he did it for the love of
his
child, and she has the same excuse. He softens and asks her to write a
letter
to him saying she is leaving town forever, which he later gives to
Ryan. Ryan
has left a message for Vicky saying he'll be home soon and promising to
tell
her the whole story that night. Justine revisits Vicky, forcing her to
change
clothes. Then, she puts on a short blond wig.

Matt is nervous when Donna is not angry at him for keeping the truth
about
Michael from her. He is even more nervous when she insists on calling
his
doctor and when she tells Marley that Michael is more important than
their
wedding. She tells Matt she wants to arrange for his care when he is
released
from the hospital. Matt wonders if she should be caring for Michael
while she
is married to Matt.

Josie apologizes to Gary for assuming he was drinking, and he is not
quick to
forgive. Later, Buck makes suggestive comments to her. Josie notices
that he
has taken a key to the evidence room, has not signed for the key, and
is not
even supposed to be there is the first place. She says she is going to
report
him. He says she will regret it. She tells Gary anyway, suggesting
that he
should take an inventory of the room.

Lorna is having trouble finding a job, and trouble dealing with
Felicia, who
is hovering around her like a wasp around a yellow light. Felicia also
leaves
a casserole burning in her oven, which nearly starts a fire.
