All over the map, today. But a good show.
***************
Josie confronts Gary's inability to leave his personal
feelings out of her career. Nick pulls a fast one on Tomas,
and Tomas actually catches on. Carl and Rachel face
France's "Finest". Ryan to the rescue. Felicia tries to
convince Lorna she's in danger. Josie helps Grant while
Gary helps Felicia. Justine is clearly "a coupla fries
short of a happy-meal".

************
Police station: Josie thinks Gary is interfering with her
duty assignments to keep her safe. She thinks he crossed
the line. Gary insists it was nothing personal. [hah!]

Josie tells him she had her assignment changed BACK, so
there. Gary says they both know that he likes her a lot,
and she should try to make things easier. [how did this
become HER fault???typicaltypicaltypical] Josie says he's
frustrating. Gary says his involvement with Grace and
fear of alcoholism that is making him crazy. Josie says
he pushes her away, then pulls her back. "Make up your
mind!" Gary says he has no choice. Fine, Josie says,
then leave her alone. She's got better things to do that
be rejected ten times a day.
Gary almost gets goosed by the arm of his chair when
he sits on it [laugh of the day].

Hospital: John and Nick discuss the bone marrow
transplant. Nick wants assurances that John can't give.
Nick is Michael's only hope. Once alone with Maggie,
Nick tells her she should leave, but she says no one
cares what she does anyway. Nick sees Tomas looking at
them and asks Maggie for a kiss. She does
[GrantLornaMorgan].

John come up and tells Tomas that they're ready.
Tomas enters the room, but doesn't let on he's seen
anything. Soon John arrives to take Nick into surgery.
Maggie pussy-foots around how close Nick and Michael have
become. Tomas pussy-foots around how close Nick and
Maggie have become. He tells her that he saw them
kissing. Maggie wants to explain, but he won't listen.

Paris, Justine's apt: Ryan is looking through Justine's
papers. He then demands to see the contents of the safe.
The maid is reluctant, but she fetches a paper in
Spencer's handwriting and gives it to Ryan. Ryan
discovers that Spencer promised Justine
$100K a year in return for her complete exit from his
life and that of Ryan and Grant. The maid tries to defend
Justine, but Ryan's not buying. He gets a call and leaves
hurriedly.

Train: Carl and Rachel are stopped by a Gendarme with an
outrageous faux-French accent. Carl tries to finesse
their way out of it, but they are caught [this guy's
accent gets worse as he goes along]. They are convinced
that Carl and Rachel are escaped lunatics. Rachel tries
to bribe Fournier, but Carl returns with the chubby
little "Inspector Clousseau" in hot pursuit. They are
under arrest, he says. Once alone, Carl tells Rachel that
he tried to contact Ryan but had no luck. She tells Carl
of her bribery attempt. "You didn't use your body, did
you?"
he asks. "No, I hadn't thought of that," she says.

Desperate for a solution, they decide to try the
TRUTH. They tell the gendarme about Justine, the
abduction, the mistaken commitment. Clousseau (he
actually lapses into a bad Seller's imitation at this
point) does not believe them. He is a "stone--unmov-ed".
Just then, Ryan bursts in the door, and places Carl and
Rachel under arrest. He tells an elaborate lie about a
special Interpol case. Just as they are leaving the
gendarme try to stop them, but the train lurches and the
three escape, leaving "Stan and Ollie" locked up in the
compartment.

Huntington House: Justine tries to convince a
disbelieving Grant that she IS his mother. Grant says it
is a BIT bizarre. He's beginning to believe it. Justine
is tired of being Rachel, but she had to do it because of
Spencer's threats, she says. Besides, it has helped her
(Justine) make things easier for Grant, with Vicky and
Kirkland, and to be on Grant's side. But where is
Rachel, Grant wants to know. Rachel MUST know about this,
he says, unless something's happen to her. Justine rants
that she has only taken back what was hers -- her son,
her lover, her life! Grant begins to suspect that
something dreadful has happened to Rachel. He rushes away
in a panic. Justine talks to her self for a few moments
(Hey! This isn't DrOOL) about how Grant's reaction is
understandable, and perfectly natural. She goes to an
empty cradle and talks to "Kirkland" about getting him
back for his daddy.

Felicia arrives a Lorna's apt. Lorna is not pleased to
see her. Felicia has brought a whole load of health
foods. Felicia believes that someone is trying to kill
Lorna, but Lorna doesn't' believe that. Felicia says
she's staying with Lorna for the night. The couch is
what she gets. Felicia sneaks a phone call to Gary
Sinclair, who arrives none the worse for his encounter
with the chair :-). Gary tells Lorna that the factory
checks out. If she was poisoned by her vitamins, they
were not there by accident. Lorna pooh poohs. Felicia has
been busy chucking out all of Lorna's foodstuffs. Lorna
MUST be more careful, she says.

While Lorna changes, Gary tells Felicia that he
wants to give in to his feelings for Josie. Wait, says
Felicia. Josie is not a drink, and it's not fair to
treat her like one (GREAT DIALOGUE).

Lorna tries to think of all the people who might
have had access to her vitamin bottle. Felicia
immediately suspects Grant, but Lorna says NOT. She
mentions Rachel only in passing, but Gary (knowing about
the odd behaviour of NotRachel) seizes upon that.

Josie is on the docks. She finds a "bum" on the docks,
but discover's it's Grant. Grant says he was walking and
thinking. About the house, he says. "You seem out of it,"
Josie says. "Are you on medication?" He says no, but he
can't seem to stay focussed. "Everyone has bad nights,"
she says, "the trick is to wake up in the morning".Grant
says Josie is like her mother. "Go home." Josie says.
Grant mumbles that he wishes he could.

Huntington House: Justine gets a call from Nurse Braun,
who tells her that Rachel is dead. (worried about her
money, no doubt). Gleeful, Justine sings a whacked out
old lullaby to the rubber suited bear. Mucho weird.
