Hi everyone! Jake finally appears in today's episode of Another World!
It was filled with lots of emotion and an unusual amount of Classic
Lines.
Here's what happened....

MICHAEL/JOHN/NICK:

Michael refuses to let Nick donate his bone marrow eventhough it is a
perfect match. He is worried about what might happen to Nick if he
donates and Michael still dies. Nick comes home and he and Michael
argue. Nick tells John to call the hospital and schedule an
appointment
to have the procedure done. Michael expresses his happiness about
having Nick as a son.

When Michael leaves, John and Nick have a heart to heart talk. They
discuss Maggie and how Thomas is like a member of the family to John
and Sharlene. Nick reassures John that nothing is going on.

AT THE HOSPITAL:

Morgan and a female doctor have lunch on the rooftop and run into
Thomas and Maggie. The doctor tells Thomas that she overheard John
raving about his bedside manners and how he hopes Thomas joins the

hospital's Mentor Program. Thomas also learns that he has been allowed
a vacation but Maggie is less than enthused about going away with him.
She reveals to Thomas that she had stopped Nick from leaving town.

Maggie wonders why this news doesn't bother Thomas. Thomas believes
that
if Nick had someone in his life like he has Maggie, then Nick would
probably be better off. He then suggests they hang out more with Nick
and Thomas decides to make a better effort when it comes to Nick.

Hearing this, Maggie runs off, upset.

JOE:

Joe is anxious to leave the hospital and continue his investigation
of Jake's death. He tells Frankie that Svenson was the same height,
weight, build, and hair color as Jake and that he thinks Jake may
still be alive. Frankie has Joe promise not to mess up his own
happiness.

MATT/VICKY/MICHAEL:

Matt, learning that Michael has Leukenia, searches for Donna. He shows
up
at Vicky's and they discuss the situation. Will Donna leave Matt when
she learns of Michael's illness??? Vicky advises Matt not to tell
Donna
because Michael does not want her to know.

After Matt leaves, Michael visits with news that Nick is a suitable
donor.
Vicky tells Michael that she is thinking of taking Steven to Lassiter
to
see where she grew up. (This will be done before she brings him to
Europe
to spend time with Jamie). Michael urges her to go to Lassiter right
away
and not to let his operation worry her.

JAKE:

Jake goes to Lassiter to dig up information on his past. At the
Records
Bureau, Jake is recognized by a former schoolmate (Class of '82). He

tells Freddy that he is learning about a guy named Jake McKinnon
because
people keep telling him he is a dead ringer for Jake. Jake tries to
get
as much information out of Freddy as possible. He learns that Jake
used
to frequent a certain playground with a blonde, who was just as wild as
Jake.

Freddy takes him to the playground where Jake thanks him for his help.
He tells Jake that an informal reunion was recently held for Lassiter's
"Not so Likely to Succeed" crowd. Jake had been roasted with the
"Biggest Loser Award", eventhough he wasn't there.

Allison shows up and says "So, who was Jake McKinnon besides a big slob
and Lassiter's Biggest Loser?". A dejected Jake answers "Me".

(Classic Line #1). Jake admits to her that he feels close to his roots
and that he is on the verge of getting some answers. Allison whines
about going home as she is not impressed with being in Lassiter. Jake
says to her "I don't think I can go home...because I AM HOME".
(Classic
Line #2).

BACK AT THE HOSPITAL:

Morgan asks the female doctor out on a lunch date, which she accepts.
He brings Joe an envelope which contains information stating that

while Bunny Eberhardt has been in the slammer, someone has been using

her credit cards in San Francisco. Joe tells Morgan that if his hunch
is right, the news "will make his bullet wound look like a hangnail".
(Classic line #3). Morgan goes searching for John in an effort to get
Joe released.

Joe's dad visits with news that he got the restaurant he and Joe's
mother had always dreamed of owning. Joe agrees to be a co-signer
for the restaurant.

The episode ends with Joe slamming his fist on Jake's picture and
vowing that if Jake is alive, Joe will make him wish he weren't.

Wow! Looks like Friday's will be a "must see" episode.
