Hi everyone! What an action-packed show! I hope this post isn't too
long - but I wanted to capture the details for anyone who didn't get a
chance to see the show today!

The Shooting at Frame and Carlino Investigators:

Joe gets shot in the back and falls to the floor. Paulina rushes over
to him, crying, "Not you, too!!". She tries to shake him awake.
Seeing his bleeding, she tries to call an ambulance, but Denis yells,
"No cops, no help". The phone rings at the office - it's Jake calling
for Joe (at Molly's recomendation). Paulina tries to grab the phone's
receiver but Denis shoots the phone. Frankie arrives and won't let
Denis leave. She asks for the gun, telling him not to make things
worse for himself. Meanwhile, Paulina sneaks around to where Jow is
laying. Frankie tells Paulina to go get her sweater to try to stop
Joe's bleeding. Frankie keeps telling Denis that everything is
alright - that he's getting tires and cani rest soon - everything will
be fine. Just as she is about to take the gun, police sirens sound in
the background and Denis grabs Frankie.

At Wallingford's:

Cass tells Felicia he can't get the "self representation" book for
this customer (whose son has asma) - but tells her he also can't drop
everything to help out. Escaping his bad mood, Felicia goes over to
chat with Eddie. She asks him why he doesn't consider taking over her
harbour front property. When siting memories of his wife, Felicia
suggests this project might be the thing that helps him move on - like
what Wallingford's did for her (she tells him about Lucas). They
leave to discuss figures.

Gary stops by and talks to Cass. Someones comes in and tells Gary he
thinks there were shots fired in the basement of the building next
door. He talks of a red-haired woman who he couldn't stop from going
into the building. Figuring out it was Frankie, Cass dashes over to
the building, with Gary in tow.

Back at Frame and Carlino Investigators:

When Gary corners them just outside the office, Denis turns the gun on
Frankie. Cass begs that he not hurt Frankie, that she is pregnant.
Cass pleads with Gary to do as Denis says. Denis asks for Gary's gun,
which he puts on the floor and kicks over to Denis. Cass then asks
Denis what he wants. Frankie tells Denis his kids want to see him.
Spotting a case of soda on the floor, Gary tells Denis he is getting
one for everyone, especially Frankie who is coughing. Upon grabbing
the last can, he rushes Denis, punching him in the face. Frankie
breaks loose and grabs the gun off the floor. More police arrive and
take Denis away. Cass is truly shocked. Gary calls Wallingford's to
tell Eddie that Joe is being taken to Bay City General. Paulina
cries, yelling that she can't stop the bleeding. After everyone
leaves, an upset Cass tells Frankie that he almost lost her. She
tries to comfort him, but he just mutters and then leaves.

At the hospital:

John, Morgan, and a trauma team look at Joe. Felicia and Gary talk
about what happened, their sobriety, and then decide to go donate blood.
Morgan tells everyone that Joe received a bullet to a major artery
behind the heart...they have no choice but to operate. Eddie goes to
the chapel while Paulina keeps a vigil outside Joe's room.

Cass meets Frankie at the hospital - he tells her that there's nothing
he can do if something happens to Frankie and Charly, and that he
hasn't felt safe since the day Charly was born, and that scares him.
Frankie tells him that her praying and meditation makes her feel safe.
Cass won't let Frankie hold him...so she suggests that he go home and
hold Charly. He tells her he can't - that he's not like Frankie - and
then leaves. This upsets Frankie, who then calls home to check on
Charly.

Heading to the operating room, Paulina asks Joe not to die on her.
Joe wakes up briefly to tell Paulina he loves her. Paulina hugs
Eddie, saying she can't go through "this again".

Back at Wallingford's:

Cass sees the woman and tells her he can't get the book from the
manufacturer. He tells her that he has put together a list of lawyers
who would like to help her, but she says that she wouldn't even know
what questions to ask them. She asks Cass, "What am I going to do?".

At the Diner:

Molly spots a police officer that know about Bunny Eberhardt. He
tells them that she was arrested and is being held at Cook County
Jail. Jake wonders if she is the blond that he has been dreaming
about. At the jail, Jake demands to see Bunny.

That's all, folks!!
