Angela goes to the Surf Bar to bait Maggie with her wedding ring, but Mags
isn't biting. She tells Angela to go home and get busy -- Tomas is all hers
because she dumped him. So, Angela goes home to try to lure Tomas in.
After he returns from seeing Kate/Sharlene and filling her in on his
marriage, he finds Angela preparing to make them a cozy dinner. Too bad,
he says, he has to work late. Angela tells tomas that she wants to tell
Luisa that they are her parents. He says they have to wait till the time
is right. He goes to work and tries to talk to Maggie, but she is distant.
She says she's not sure that she can continue to work with him.

At the farm, after Tomas left, John kisses Sharlene. At first she
responds, but when it gets more heated, she pulls away and goes back to
cooking dinner. Later she explains that she was frightened when they got
intimate. Hes understanding, but suggests that she talk to the shrink
about it.

Trent tells Evan that Carl must have noticed the funny money by now. Evan
tells Trent to find a way to get the money out of the police station, at
any cost. Grant goes to see Lorna. She informs him that she is accepting
Evan's job offer. Typically egocentric, he assumes it's because he
wouldn't sleep with her. He says he doesn't want to lose her, but that he
won't let her work for both him and Evan, and reminds her that she and
Amanda don't get along and won't work together well at Cory. She's says
she's leaving. He warns that she will regret it. That's funny -- most
women don't end up regretting leaving Grant. They see Evan, and Lorna
tells Grant that she has to talk to Evan now, lest he be late for his
meeting with Amanda. At the agency, Lorna and Evan speculate about the
coincidence that she is back at her old stomping grounds -- D & M, which
also launced Sam's career. Amanda arrives and is aghast at the sight of
Lorna, especially when Evan tells her that Lorna is his newest employee.
Amanda wants to know if Evan is deliberately trying to bait her (a running
theme today). No, Amanda, he's doing it for his health, honey. Amanda
informs Evan that she is disappointed with his proposals for Cory. Evan
wants to know specifically what he can do to please her. Grant overhears
the end of his conversation, which conveniently could be taken sexually.

Carl wants Ito to find out where the missing counterfeit plates are.
Rachel wants to know why he is so upset. Before he can change the
conversation, Amanda calls and informs Rachel that Evan owns Arlington,
which worries Rachel. She also tells her that she and Grant have set a
wedding date. Carl is apparently unfamiliar with Evan. Rachel tells him
that Evan holds her responsible for the death of his mother. They decide
to go home, and apparently take a time machine to get there, because they
arrive immediately. No one is home. Ito arrives, and Carl wants to talk to
him privately. Ito suggests that Carl be honest with Rachel, but Carl
explains why he can't be. Owning counterfeit plates is against the law.
If Rachel finds out, she is an accessory, and if Ryan finds out, he will
have to prosecute. Carl tells Ito to destroy the remaining plates and try
to find out who got into his safe deposit box. Carl realizes that someone
is trying to keep him of the wrong side of the law.
