Maggie gets into it with Angela. Pushes her around a little bit and
tells Angela she is not going to get away with what she is trying and
if she thinks Maggie is going to sit back and watch - she's crazy.
She tells Ang that she knows she could care less about Luisa - that
it's
only Tomas that she wants. Angela threatens to call the police and
Mags rips the cord out of the wall. Of course, there is a knock at
the door and it's Tomas. Ang is just glowing since she looks like
Miss Goody Two Shoes again. Tomas tell Ang that they'll discuss the
arrangments for the marriage in the a.m. but that he needs to take

Mags home and talk to her now. At the apartment, Mags tells Tomas
that Ang is just using him - he says "No she's helping. We'll just
get married long enough for me to get custody of Luisa and then we'll
get divorced." Mags asks him what he'll do if Ang won't give him
the divorce - because she is only after him. They also discuss the
bond that Tomas and Ang share as Luisa's parents and the fact that
they've made love before. Tomas asks Mags if that's what the problem
is and if she wants to make love that night. [I would have slapped
the
sh*t out of him!] Mags tells Tomas she wants to wait for the time to
be perfect - and besides - she needs to get home to put together the
plans for Tomas' birthday party today. He tells her he doesn't want
anything but she says he gave her her first real birthday party and
she wants to do something for him. She leaves and pretty soon Ang
drops by [Tomas is of course in those awful baggy blue shorts with
no shirt on]. Tomas asks her if she understand that the marriage
is only to get custody of Luisa - and that they won't be sharing
anything
more. She admits to Tomas that she does still have feelings for him
but
she is just doing this to help with Luisa and to be a mother to her.
She says they need to get married right away and she whips out the

application form which she has completed and tells Tomas where to
sign.

Evan leaves the parking garage after having fixed up the meeting with
Lorna. He goes to the Harbor Club where Grant and Amanda are just

leaving, after Trent told her she has 3 hours to make a decision on
whether
they want Arlington on the Cory team before some company overseas
takes them
on. Amanda goes to the office to look over the files on them.

She of course, narrowly misses seeing Evan as he enters. Ian greets
Evan
and Evan tells him he's new in town and expects to be treated well
at the Harbor Club. He shows Ian the table that he would like to
have
reserved for him all the time and asks if the wad of money he has
pulled out is enough to cover it. Ian gets ticked and tells him that
their tables aren't for sale. Ian walks off and tells Josie that he
is going to his office and to let him know if there is any trouble
and that a "customer" has bothered him.

After Ian leaves, Evan sneaks up behind Josie and they kiss and
hug and talk about how great it is that he's back in town and what
a success he is.

Lorna gets home, still ticked at Grant, and Trent Forbes leaves
a message on her machine about her coming to work for their
advertising
agency. She calls him right back and tells him she'll meet with him.
She gets ready and goes to the Harbor Club to meet him - but instead
it's Evan she meets. She yells at him for setting her up with the
car trouble in the parking garage at Tops. He claims not to have
done
that - that it's fate that brought them together. He hands her a

job description and the salary scale and tells her to look it over.
She hands it back to him and tells him no thanks, she already has a
job. Then she takes it back and tells him she'll look it over. She
also asks him if Amanda knows he's back in town and if he came back
for her. He tells her he's not after Amanda anymore but Lorna looks
very intrigued and leaves.

Grant and Amanda are at the office and he is trying to get romantic
with her but she keeps pushing him away. Finally he tries one time
too many and she goes off on him. He asks her what's wrong and she
tells him that her and Evan used to "get cozy" in the office during
their late night work sessions and she just can't do that since then.
He tells her Evan sure does get to her and he doesn't understand why.
He says he understands her feelings about Sam since he is Alli's
father
and they were married but he doesn't get this. She tells him not to
worry and to take her home. As they leave and she turns off the
lights,
she remembers her and Evan kissing in the office.

Carl is trying desparately to get Rachel to marry him. Even from
outside
the door. A bunch of the cleaning crew and the head of security is

waiting for Rachel to say "I do" after the judge starts the ceremony
even though Rachel is locked in the office. She comes out eventually
and tells everyone else to leave. She tells Carl that she loves him
but she can not stand to be lied to and she is very concerned about
his safety. Carl apologizes and they leave together.
